Terrible first experience. Dropped Potato off 15 mins early - I booked my appointment online and ALREADY left notes in the “special instructions” field, I went back over them with the gal at the front desk. I explicitly told her I only wanted his feathers and mane to get a small trim - Even made a gesture with my hand (talking 1” or less trimmed off). She said she understood exactly what I meant, repeated it back to me and would make sure the groomer understood. She also said I’d get a text about 30 mins before he’d be done and it’d take about 2.5 hours. This was 12:45. At 4pm when I still hadn’t heard back, I reached out and LM. At 4:20 got a text saying he was done and to come pick him up. Imagine my surprise when I showed up and my dog had no feathers anywhere and his mane was completely gone. The groomer was less than apologetic stating it said to trim with scissors…trim and completely remove are not the same…come on. Even worse, there are chucks in his fur where the haircut isn’t even blended! Only upside is they gave him a cute necktie and he smells nice. Tried to reach out to manager or owner, no response and nowhere to send an email. First and last time for us.UPDATE: Tim, the owner, reached out to me to chat about my experience. He was very apologetic about our experience and the miscommunications on his teams side. He refunded the cost of the groom and offered to clean up the areas that were chunky/not well blended. Not sure if we will go back, but if we do, we'll ask for Tim.

We brought in our older Pyrenees hoping to get the mats out of her coat. Bella can't stand very long being almost 13 years old.Two young ladies, Barbara was one, got on the floor to trim Bella and were very concerned about her being comfortable, giving her breaks when she needed them.We are so happy to know that when our two dogs go to Rub-A-Dub, that they will be well taken care of!Our other dog, a bernadoodle, loves these ladies, which is very unusual, because she's been terrified going anywhere else we've taken her.Our visits to Rub-A-Dub have been very good experiences.

Arrived to my appointment to find out it was canceled. Then proceeded to tell me the appointment type I picked was incorrect and it would cost more and another appointment wouldn't be available for at least a week. I should have been notified prior and maybe educated on different appointment but offer the cheaper one due to inconvenience. The ladies were very nice but it could have been handled better. It is highly frustrating because the whole day has to be schedule around this appointment since there is a 2.5 hr turn around time.

We provide service to many companies in organizations throughout northern Indiana. This property is always so busy. Our team enjoys going in to see all the happy dogs. The owner and the groomers are very kind and very passionate about what they do. It does not look like a dog Salon does not smell like a dog salon. It is very high-end and very impressive what the owner has done

The grooming services are fairly priced and they do a great job and are patient with my very vocal pup. HOWEVER their new scheduling system is not as convenient because it doesn't work on Android phones so I have to schedule using my desktop. Or you just have to call in and usually end up leaving a message and wait for a call back to schedule.

I've been taking my dogs to Rub A Dub Dub for years now. While there has been many changes and turnover, one thing is always consistent and that is the love and attention my dogs get every time. I have only senior dogs and would trust noone else. I had a pup with a seizure disorder and Tim was great at communicating on how she was doing and knew the warning signs and how to manage due to his own dog. I now have a blind and deaf senior and Tim is great with them. I never worry about anxiety or safety when they are getting groomed. The dogs love to go see uncle Tim and always look and smell great.

First appointment I had was good, they said my dog wasn't that matted and they got her trimmed up. Second appointment (a month later) was a disaster, they told me she was extremely matted and needed to be completely shaved, it took them 6 hours to shave her and they didn't even do her tail or her face. I was told I had to come back for a follow up appointment but I never got contacted again. I took her to a new groomer and they told me that her behavior has changed from tolerating the grooming to hating it and that she is most likely traumatized from being groomed here.

The service and attention to detail here is so good that we drive from 45 minutes away even thought there are 5 groomers closer to us. Melissa took care of us today and was extremely friendly and patient with our Giant nervous senior citizen dog with arthritis in her back legs. It is a real effort at Rub A Dub Dub as three techs teamed up to help with parts of cleaning our dog. We are so thankful for this wonderful business and their high level of service!

Rub A Dub Dub treats our Corgi Ebert like a prince when he's there! It truly is like a day spa for dogs, with a relaxing vibe and amenities for the canine-tele. We've been using them for years and have nothing but good things to say. Stacy always does a wonderful job making him look like the handsome boy that he is!

Great experience took my 5 month old bully there for fist time . They did amazing he smelt so so good his paws were smooth nails short ears clean teeth look great very Impressed. Front guy was very nice as well I believe Justin was his name . Over all A+ ! And he looked so handsome with the tie they gave him 🖤

This place is absolutely terrible, the owner is on some sort of drug. Came in and the owner was screaming at one of the girls to the point of them crying. If that’s how he treats his employees I can only imagine how he treats our dogs. DO NOT COME HEREEdit: if what I’m saying is “fake”, then why are there other reviews from different periods in time stating similar things? Get your act together Rub a Dub

Go see Leo here! We came for our 1st time & left impressed. Maggie was excited when I came to pick her up, as if she was comfortable & not stressed. Having a GSD, shedding is horrific. Her deshed was fantastic and I wish I knew about this service sooner! Thanks Leo!

I took my very long haired sheltie to Rub a Dub this week and he was serviced by Hunter. She was very thorough, asked specific questions about what I was looking for with my dog and based on his reaction afterwards treated him kindly. She also noticed a hotspot on his skin on his rear end that I had not seen. It was actuallyAn issue that required a veterinary visit so I am grateful to her for finding it out and showing it to me so I understood the issue. I took Fionn to the Dr. the very next day and he agreed it was a problem that required two prescriptions to treat. So kudos to you Hunter! Fionns deshed was well done and the trim looked really good as well. He’s Unusually long haired for a sheltie so not an easy dog to work on.

I have taken my dog here twice. This last time my dog was scared and they didnt rush into anything. They gave him treats and had him jump on the couch for some love so he would warm up to the groomer. They have always given me an approximate pick of time and have always been prompt. It is on the expensive side but the service is worth in.

Yesterday was our first time at Rub a Dub, and I was quickly impressed when I walked into the door and heard the calming music and saw the tiny zen fountain. We have been looking for a good groomer for quite a while now, and even though Rub a Dub is a little over an hour drive, we will definitely be coming back.We’ve had some icky experiences with other places, and I have learned to settle with how Juniper comes back (whether it be because she’s a little uneven, her hind legs aren’t cut well, etc.), but when they brought Juniper out yesterday, I was SO impressed. After looking her over at home, I did not feel like I had to just settle with anything - but instead, she just looks PERFECT!Additionally, Juniper’s groomer, Michaela, was so calm and kind - she introduced herself to Juniper and took the time to have Juniper sniff her and become acclimated. Michaela did such a great job with her, and I appreciate her attention to detail and her calming vibe!Very professional, very clean, and even though it was Juniper’s first time there, I felt like I could trust them! We will definitely be coming back to Rub a Dub!

Horrible. Groomers incredibly nice but the owner is horrible with staff and screaming at one of the groomers. Obviously horrible boss. Came with a friend to pick their dog up and will not take my dog there

We have been taking our pup there for nearly 7 years. We live 3 hours away. At the beginning Tim would take him in for us.Now it's more difficult to get an appointment, especially on short notice. I just think the company has grown and must have a good reputation. The service has always been great if we can get in there.

Took bella for her 8 week groom with Sherry. She does an awesome job and is very very detailed and thorough her paws and always look so neat and tiddy. She is a sheltie (miniature collie) and looks beautiful every time. THANKS SHERRY!

I have a gorgeous little sheepadoodle whose fur had finally grown out to look more sheepdog like. I told her to keep the fur long. She trimmed her down to less than an inch along the entire body—obviously not long. Pretty disappointed, it will take a while to grow back out. Not sure how to make it clearer for the future.

I've had great experiences taking my pup here! The staff is all incredibly friendly and take the time to get to know your dog before taking them back for their appointment. I have a very high energy dog and they take very great care of him! Emily is an amazing groomer, thank you so much for taking care of my pup! There was a small issue when my dogs leg was hurt jumping out of the tub (completely his fault, he can be an idiot) and they were prompt with letting me know what happened. I also consistently book the wrong appointment type (again, completely my fault) and they are always very patient with me! I appreciate their transparency in things like this, and I always book another appointment! highly recommend this groomer if you're like me and want the best for your pup!
