Joanna's Animal Grooming & Salon does exceptionally great and consistent grooming, as noted by my attached photos of my miniature Schnauzer and Schnoodle. I feel confident that my girls will come out looking great consistently. The prices are reasonable, the staff is always pleasant, but above everything both of my dogs love coming here!

I have a six month old basset hound who is very sweet, but very basset. I just knew Amy would be able to handle her.She bellowed the whole time, but Amy was diligent and sent me home with homework to help prepare her for nails next time. Fuzzy loves getting he’s spa day at Joanna’s. We had and incident long time ago with a cut but they took care of it. And Joanna follow up with us. Their stuff is super friendly and I can tell fuzzy loves that place.I would definitely recommend them !!

Please please DO NOT take your precious animals here!!!! This place is horrible and doesn’t care about animals at all! This is my dog tucker after getting “groomed” this last week. More like butchered if you ask me. The owner is horrible and is extremely unprofessional. She cares more about money than she does about caring for the animals we entrust to her business. On her webpage she states that they “offer a safe, secure, and clean environment, and you can trust our team to meticulously see to every detail of your pets care”. But clearly that just means she will do whatever she can get away with to your animal instead. They cut my dog and then tried to tell me it was a scab and he was matted (completely untrue). He was groomed in way less than the 4 months the waiver we signed states. He had zero mats and no scabs or cuts. I took him to the vet immediately following and the vet confirmed this was a fresh (not existing) and deep cut. He needed to be sedated and get stitches costing us $230. And that is on top of Joannas still requiring us to pay for the grooming where they hurt our poor dog!! All the owner said is things happen.. and you signed a waiver. A better business owner and person that really cares for animals would have taken responsibility and done the right thing! It’s sad that we even have to write a review like this... but whatever it takes to help anymore animals not to have to endure something as horrific.

Gabby looks amazing in her new haircut today! We (and she) couldn’t be happier. She is a rescue dog and has anxiety sometimes, but she was relaxed and did well with the staff. We were also very impressed with their professionalism, and clean modern facilities. You can tell that they take pride in their work and workspace. We booked our next grooming appointment right away before we left.

I was looking for a place to take my dog to get his nails clipped this past weekend & came across Joanna’s. The staff were all extremely friendly & they are very affordable! Best of all, they take walk-ins! (I have a 65 pound American Bully & didn’t think anyone would “be accepting new clients” when they saw him… they asked if he was a good boy & then took him back without hesitation!) He didn’t cry or yelp one time!! Of course he had the common nervous shakes, but not once did he look or sound like he was in any type of pain! They were extremely gentle & professional with my baby boy! & We were out in 5 minutes!! Unfortunately, I forgot to get the lady’s name who clipped his nails, but there were other dogs in there with other employees who you could tell were just as happy as Zeus when we left! Thanks again!!!

More than twice they've gotten my dogs quicks which I think nail cutting is pretty basic, I can trim my own pets nails at home and don't hit that. This last time they shaved my dog so close his skin bled and the other dogs toe bled all night from hitting hit the quick. I had blood all over my house from this. The owner didn't offer to refund our money or anything. She offered to put something on the nail which I did at home and told me what I could do to relieve the irritation from the razor burn but it took her a very long time to offer a apology. So we won't be back. I think they have unexperienced groomers working in the back and they charged me 208 dollars for 2 dogs. Nope.

I did not have a very good experience. The young gal that was working directly with my puppy was kind to me and sweet to my dog. I had just adopted her (from not the best situation at 8 months old) so this was a first for both of us. She was in need of a good grooming. She is a very shy, calm and loving dog. The owner called me back in to explain they would need to shave her. I understood that but was spoken to in a very rude and demeaning manner. I left in tears. She even told me that if I didn’t bring her back on a regular basis, she would drop her. Really? No worries. I will not go back. It was clear to me that this is just a business for her. There was not one kind word spoken to or about my dog.

Took my pet on August 1st for a hair cut. They didn’t even trim his legs feet or face actually it’s only August 21st now and he looks like he never had a cut. His 1st cut was great the /2nd visit very disappointing.

I have been a client well (my pups have :) of Joanna’s for over $17 years now. I’ve had nothing but amazing service from her business. I tell all my friends how comfortable she makes my puppies feel. How talented they all are at grooming. How she keeps every animal in her space safe. How she was the first to groom my toy poodle Izzy and the last of 17 years. We used to have a Bichon that we took here to be groomed. They always did a great job with him. Previous groomers tended to groom him to look more like a poodle, but Joanna's knows how to groom Bichons. His last year of life he had a slow growing tumor in his mouth, so didn't like to be touched around the face, but they still did a really good job grooming him. We recently adopted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and they did a great job grooming him. Our vet even commented on what a nice job they did with his grooming. We have never had any issues, and did not hesitate to bring our new dog to Joanna's to be groomed.

We have a long haired cat who doesn’t bathe herself and absolutely hates being brushed. Because of this, her hair gets matted pretty badly. We used to shave her ourselves, but a new baby made the time required for that impossible. We called Joanna’s and they got us in with their cat groomer and did an amazing job! We will definitely be bringing her back in for regular grooming here.

The release form you sign gives the groomers the right to hurt your dog! My dog recieved a 1 inch cut while getting groomed. The groomer called my wife to blame the cut on a mysterious scab that did not exist. After picking him up my wife noticed the deep gash that was left bleeding. He had to be taken to the vet that confirmed the cut to be fresh (not an existing wound). My dog had to be sedated and wound stitched. Costing us an extra 230$!!!! I talked to the owner Joanna that denied responsibility as "these things happen", and that I "signed a release form" that prevents liability. Do not bring your dog here as money means more than your dogs safety. A real dog lover and business owner would have taken responsibility and made things right.

Absolute worst dog grooming experience we've ever had. Not necessarily because of the quality of the work but because of the lack of effort of the staff to follow grooming instructions provided by the customer. We took our dog multiple times to this groomer and each time they were instructed NOT to do any additional cutting or trimming of the fur besides potty area. Each and every time our dog was returned with a shave in the face and paws among the potty areas.When calling to discuss why instructions were not followed, the staff blamed us for not explicitly stating not to cut or trim the face or paws... Which is ridiculous because the instructions were not to cut or trim ANYTHING besides potty area... The staff stated that the face and paws are part of their bathing process and it's our fault for not explicitly stating not to cut or trim the face and/or paws... I was then asked not to return as a customer by the owner. The way we were treated was absolutely absurd. DO NOT recommend unless you are ok with the staff grooming however they please despite your wishes.

I was passing through town with my service dog, and went to the dog park. She got muddy, so I took her in for JUST a bath. I said specifically to not trim her at all, as she had just been groomed and only needed cleaning. They cut her face super short, to the point where she has a cut on an eyebrow and her nose fur is almost down to the skin. She was clean, yes, but these people do not listen to instructions at all.

My husband and I Recently purchased a Golden doodle. We don’t really have much experience in a grooming ourselves, regardless my husband still decided to take it upon himself to give our poor pearl a haircut himself. Needless to say pearl looked hideous. So we decided to take her to Joanna’s salon and they fixed what an atrocious job my husband did and made my precious baby Beautiful again so I will definitely be back!!!

First several times taking our two poodles, it was great. Their cuts looked amazing. The last two times have been with a different groomer and are a total mess. The cuts are choppy and uneven, hair inside ears were not touched. Looks awful. Great prices, but not enough to make us go back.

This was our ragdoll cat Callie's first grooming experience. She had several matted areas and needed a thorough brushing. We had tried to keep up with the grooming ourself but felt it was time for a professional groomer to get involved. Joanna did the grooming which took an hour and did a great job while keeping Callie calm and comfortable. She used electric trimmers to remove some of the large mats and brushed her thoroughly to remove a large quantity of fur. She also performed a couple other trimming tasks. Joanna gave us a lot of valuable information about caring for our cat going forward. We would strongly recommend Joanna's and will use this grooming salon on a regular basis.

I walked in for my dog to get an appointment… no one said anything they just looked at me.. I end up getting scheduled but when I left I didn’t feel like I was welcomed… They made me feel very uncomfortable… of course they gave me the look like “why is this black woman Here” lbvs… Looking at the reviews im going to pass anyway, they are 3 out of 5… I’ll take my yorkie else where, plus from reading the reviews they don’t listen and I do not have time for anyone messing up my fur baby…

Took our Yorkie to Joanna’s for his first cut. Not knowing exactly what to tell them, I just showed a photo and asked them to do a shorter Yorkie cut. I picked him up and he looked like a Schnauzer (extra boxy and long in the chin area). Not even sure how a professional groomer thinks that looks like a Yorkie. When I called about it, they told me to bring him back, but I had to have the same groomer fix him. I opted to just take him somewhere else and never go back.

This may be a lengthy review because I have so much to say about Samantha at Joanna's.We have taken our Shih-Tzu, Bear, there for years! Samantha is always extremely pleasant...I mean seriously I don't think this girl ever has a bad day, or at least she is excellent at hiding it!!Bear recently received a diagnosis of cancer and I was concerned about having him groomed because his tumor is in his jaw.Samantha has gone out of her way to make sure he is the last appointment, so he's not in a waiting kennel and calls me before she's done so he's not waiting very long after.We also bring our bulldog, Bella in for nail trims when needed and she has great experience with "stubborn" dogs who don't like their nails trimmed. Samantha is just great with both of our fur babies and we could never think of taking them to anyone else!!
