I spend more time trying to find an employee to check me out than I spend shopping. This has been my experience 99% of the time. The location makes the place ideal for me, the only reason I go back. The most frustrating business I’ve ever been a patron of.

2 year update. As you can see from the latest photo things have only declined. Very poorly managed. As I said before only reason this place is even open is because it's the only thing around.Don't get me wrong the store is great. But it's the only option in ft branch and there is only ever one person working the register. So just be prepared to wait in extended lines for expended periods of time.

Never open during posted hours. I went to store at 9 and doors were locked with a generic closed sign on the doot.

The workers now expect you to use the self service check out. There are ALWAYS racks of un stocked items ALL over the store, so you are always having to move racks of unstocked item, just to reach the item that you are needing. They need to figure out a way to work on 1 or 2 racks at a times before filling the entire place with racks so that you cannot get through the aisles.

Friendly staff. Store kept in order for the most part. Helpful and available when you need them. They honestly do seem as if they would do whatever they could to make you happy. Still just a four star because it is still just a dollar general so I suppose this is actually the highest rating they could possibly get from me. You know what I mean right? You go in knowing what to expect as far as the products are concerned...

Hear that they are closing most of the stores in Indiana, management from main office has told store managers to shut off ac units and tell customers (when they are open) that ac units are not working and parts have been ordered, this is a corporate lie.. shop at dollar tree in Princeton people or buy from Holiday foods.

Finally found Tootsie Roll mini bites!! Gals in the store were very helpful and kind. Young man on register waited to finish his smoke outside while 2 people were at register..otherwise great very clean store!

I work here on nights stocking. I am not making this review just bc I work there. It is the cleanest dollar store I have ever been in. They have tons of items. There are not carts blocking so many iles u cant shop like some of them. We try our best to keep it clean and organized. If we are out of something, its bc it was not delivered. No one in the store orders items. Corporate orders stuff based on what we sell. I can tell u, I stock things on weds and by Friday its almsot gone. Crazy how busy we are. I live in Fort Branch and I am so thankful we sell groceries. I dont have to drive all the way to princeton or haubstaut to get bread. Please if u have had a bad experience in the past. Please give us another shot. The past 3 months we have done so much and we try our best to make our customers happy. If u come in, please fill out the survey on ur receipt. Tells how ur experience went... we love to hear how we are doing and hopefully we meet ur expectations as best as we can. Just please understand it's hard to find people to work right now. It's hard to fill shelves and wait on customers. We want to make sure u are not waiting to long to be check out. We are trying hard to make sure shelves are stocked up as best we can. Once again the staff was very friendly, in a rather cheerful mood. One gentleman in particular helped us very quickly and was extremely polite. Our experience here definitely will lend us here eventually!!!

The Dollar General Stire just outside of Fort Branch, Indiana is the most unorganized, and dirtiest store that I've ever been in!And I can never find what I'm looking for because everything is always thrown throughout the store! Also, the lines are too long! Noone answers the phone .either.

I was a bit disappointed was a lot of empty shells it appeared that stocking was not their strong point. The store was a bit messy and disorganized but I gave them a 3-star rating because their cashiers were extremely friendly and helpful

It's a shame that the store in fort Branch is not open as they posted a note on their door, I was a regular customer but no more, I'll spend my money at Holiday foods in haubstat from now on.

The Ft. Branch Dollar General looks AMAZING since their remodel! Even though the actual store didnt expand, it looks HUGE in there and seems like the amount of merchandise has doubled, especially the food area.

The store had what I needed but was a little pricey. I think Walmart would of been cheaper but it was convenient for me. So I didnt fight a line or parking issues.

It's a dollar store...not a lot to say! It's a well run place that offers basic goods and wares for a reasonable price. The people are nice, friendly, and will help you if they can.

Why are the outside of the stores always so filthy? I know they have brooms & Windex why can't they use them @ the entrance? I don't go to several DG because of that very reason.

Just popped in and out to get ear buds for tablet. One block (or so) South of Pilot. Were a lot cheaper. Just make sure your purchase hasn't had something stolen from inside container.

I drive a truck in the area for about 3 weeks at a time and I always stop here to get my groceries. Nice DG, nice staff I will be back.

They've got stuff packed in front of the front door way in such a matter that you can't even hardly walk in the door. The shells are unorganized and overall just not a very good place

The people are friendly and will ask if you need help , if you look like you are lost ...and if you ask , sometimes they'll ask anyway ...neat and clean
