Rarely do I leave bad reviews but this place is horrible at cat grooming and management is extremely rude (cut me off multiple times), argumentative and unprofessional. We asked for our long-hair cat to be cut super short all over and when we picked her up (so excited to see her)- they hadnt even touched the top or 85% of her, and had only cut her belly!! They said she was one of the best cats they’d had so it wasn’t due to her behavior. She was wet, and then they lied saying we had asked for her to be kept long. And they felt like that service was worth $133!! The job looked like it was started and the groomer walked out shortly after. I wish I was exaggerating but I will post pics. The cat had some matting underneath so we were prepared for it to not look even, just wanted to start over with her fur. Groomer wasn’t friendly either time and was complaining about animals in the back (brushed it off)- she wanted the cat medicated so spent $$ at vet for that (no big deal but adds to disappointment). When I spoke with management she never once apologized, continued cutting me off, was argumentative until she saw the pics but still never displayed decent communication skills with a customer! Save your time, save your money and save your disappointment! Find another groomer! I did get my money back but I preferred to have my cat groomed! Ps. We’d had a similar experience a few years ago with a dog but tried them again hoping it would be different. It’s NOT. Last pics are what we showed.

We have been taken care of so well! Both my dogs see Kylar and are treated with exceptional care. Ella and Sully love coming to the groomers. They make it such a positive experience. We highly recommend!

We’ve been taking our two cocker spaniels to Purrs and Gurrs (Miranda), for many years now. They are always gentle and kind to our boys, and have never given a bad groom to either one! I have recommended them to several of our friends over the past many years and everyone has nothing but rave reviews. Thanks for always taking care of Charlie and Joey…they love you all too!!

We have been using them for about a year, mostly for walk-in nail service. I took our 28 lb furry dog there in November. When I called the cost was $73 (no prices are on their website), his legs were matted and they ended up shaving him all over and charging me $98 dollars. I don't know if any of you ever have paid that about of money for a grooming, but no one that I have spoken to have. It did not take them any longer to groom him because of this. They called me to pick him up in 2 hrs.My husband took him in for a nail trimming and the cost had gone up $6. The price was on the counter with the old price and they would not honor that (again their prices are not on-line).I called to ask about this. A manager was suppose to return my call and I have not gotten a call back. It is too bad, they were convenient but just being able to charge whatever you like without calling or telling someone when an appt is made, etc. is not okay. Customer service is very poor. Post your prices.

I have a new Shiba Inu rescue that’s is still transitioning and scared of his shadow. Miranda talked me through the process and transformed him from dusty shaky mess to a shiny new albeit still nervous little guy. I take my bichon poodle here to be groomed and he always looks great! His hair tends to get matted and they are always gentle and understanding when it gets that way. They also always get me in right away so scheduling is very easy and not like other places that are booked months out.Definitely recommend Purrs and Gurrs for your furry babes!!

i’ve been going to purrs and gurrs for over a year now but yesterday was my last time. they absolutely ruined my dogs appearance. her ears are uneven and choppy. it looks like they missed an entire section. her hair is cut so short it looks like she has no fur. i will never understand how they could return my dog in the manner. the first 4 pictures is what she currently looks like and the last one from the last time she was groomed. i don’t understand how it went so wrong. so if you’re considering coming here, please don’t. my dog now looks like a coked out rat

We have taken our 3 year old dog here a couple of times and have never had a bad experience! We just took our 6 month old for her first ever grooming and she did great! I think it goes to show just how caring and comfortable they made her feel to really have that great experience! Rachael did a fantastic job! Looking forward to taking her back for a full groom soon :)

Wish I could give a zero. This place is HORRIBLE. Brought my daughter's long haired tortoise shelled cat in to be groomed because she had some mats on her belly. We picked up our sweet baby an hour ago, she won't let us touch her to see if they got her belly, but for some reason they shaved her butt, when we specifically said NO SHAVING and there was nothing on her butt. Plus, no one told us how her grooming went. For $90, we have the right to know. Calling and speaking with a manager tomorrow or Monday. Raven has rights. I posted 1 pic of Raven taken right before her grooming and the rest taken after. This place butchered her fur.

Terrible job of grooming our morkie! She looks like they were in a hurry, thus missing spots, resulting in chunks of fur sticking out all over her body and neck. Now they are demanding deposits from loyal customers who have never missed or been late for an appointment. Oh and they wont clean teeth anymore. Lady behind the desk told me its a wate of time.Consumers have too many choices to put up with bad service.

We have taken two dogs here but yesterday will be our last visit. Stuart is a Havenese puppy and I told the groomer I wanted him scissor cut to leave his hair longer to maintain a Havenese puppy hairdo but after paying and tipping on top of that, we were given a completely clipped dog with no hair!! I asked her if he was a difficult groom prior to his service to see if there would be any reason he would need clippered. She said he had a note of matting and ran her hands over him and verified he was mat free as I brush to keep them away. So disappointed!!! I could have bought clippers and done this to my dog. No listening and no artistry.Stuart has beautiful wavy hair but now looks like a weird bichon. Photo by fireplace is longer puppy cut and right is what we got yesterday. On top of that, they clipped his nail so close her bled from the tip and I had a hard time getting it to clot off.We will not be returning! They are expensive and do not listen at all!!

So glad to have found them! They may seem pricey to some but you get what you pay for and my pupper is worth making sure she is well taken care of and Always looks and smells amazing! Fast too!

We haven’t taken our Senior Golden Retriever in for a while. I was expecting just a wash and trim. When I saw my dog for the first time after pick up he was just so handsome! His coat is so silky smooth! I’m really happy with our experience today! Thank you Holly!

We love Purrs & Grrs! They have never been less than perfect in their work on our large poodle mix and are very friendly and professional. We always recommend them to people looking for a new groomer. There may be a wait to get in, but it is worth it because they are good at what they do and our dog leaves happy. 🙂

Been going there 10 years. Running late, call to let them know been real sick. Ask if I can be 20 min late and want to charge me $50. Ask to talk to manager or owner because I already pay over $200. Was hung up on and called me back and told me I’m not nice and to never bring my dogs again. Must have enough business. Don’t need a 10 year old customer anymore.

We love Purrs and Gurrs! We had a bad experience with our previous groomer where they kept our Goldendoodle pup for almost 12 hours in a crate because she wasn’t fussing and they wanted to get the “bad dogs” out first. Our girl is now anxious at the groomer, even though she’s an extensively trained Therapy Dog. Kyler and Jocelin are FANTASTIC with her now that we’ve switched to P&G and are so patient and loving with her. They are quick to answer questions and give guidance on how we can better take care of her coat at home to help grooming go easier. We brush her several times a week and make sure she has little to no matting when we take her in. If you don’t do that, Purrs and Gurrs will not put your pet or themselves in danger, and rightfully so. You can’t expect them to work miracles when you don’t put in the work at home. 🤷🏻♀️ Lulu comes out smelling and looking wonderful and is always happy as a clam after her P&G visits. We couldn’t ask for better people to love on our girl while she’s at the groomer.

Loyal customers for over a decade for our 2 small dogs, now 13 years old. They called us after having our dogs for 4 hours saying they were too nervous to be groomed. Why did they wait so long to call us to pick them up? My sweet old pups were held in cages for hours only to return home partially groomed. They don’t have the patience for older dogs. They also don’t listen to instructions. In the past we explicitly instruct not to close shave the privates of our male dog and without fail he is shave to the bare skin. Which is weeks of licking and discomfort for him. We should have left long ago.

Zero stars. We’re not usually one’s to leave bad reviews but seeing our puppy come home the way she did was too heartbreaking not to, and I want everyone to avoid the experience we had. We dropped her off to get her second puppy cut and she looked like a different dog by the time we picked her up. The cut was completely uneven and they were “not able” to cut around her bottom which is a pretty essential part of a puppy cut. Don’t worry they still charged full price. This was upsetting but what made us the most upset was how visibly shaken our sweet puppy was. She would bark and not even come near us at home and this is not like her at all. She was acting the way that abused dogs do and I don’t say this lightly. We would like to look further into what exactly happened in the hour that she was there.

I can't say enough about the amazing staff at Purrs & Gurrs. It starts with Joslin at the front desk that cares so wholeheartedly for every animal that walks in the door. Our dog Sadie is groomed by Lindsey and always looks amazing, but all the groomers do a fantastic job! They are knowledgeable, talented, and truly care for your pet. I would not take Sadie anywhere else.

Just had my second real bad experience and one that I wasn't happy with one thing that hurt my dog, but I let that go and told them about it when I took my dog this time. The groomer was short with me and thought she could tell me how things would be. I should have took him and left. This time when I picked him up, she came out and told me that he was quite difficult to manage and at one point took two people. She also let me know she cut his ear, so she was coming out first to tell me that. Funny thing is, everyone else has always complemented him and how sweet he is and I know that he is nice and acts like he has never met a stranger. Gee, could it be the way she handles them, and they pick up on her demeaner? The haircut is awful. Many areas that are cut very choppy-and uneven, and his face is shaped so odd. And although I asked that his ears be kept the same except for one little knot on top, they are completely chopped off. He is not styled at all. Hopefully it will grow and he can be shaped up a little sooner by me. I am so glad to see the reviews that show other people aren't happy too.

They took good care of my dog and her special needs. She came out more relaxed than she has at other places. They also did a quick and thorough job with my other dogs walk in nail care.
