End of 2023/beginning of 2024 we decided to replace flooring in our bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, family room, office and stairs all at once. We pulled up tile, linoleum, carpet and wood and replaced with tile and wood. As one of the larger efforts we’ve undertaken, we shopped around, did all the research, changed our minds, asked ask the questions -sometimes more than twice. We’re both analysts by profession, so we can be a lot. :) Greg and Kathleen were patient, clear, helpful and available during the entire decision-making process. The schedulers were clear and flexible. The installers were true craftsmen and women - they are artists (Jorge’s precision and geometry blew our minds). Wood and tile crews worked diligently, solved problems creatively and communicated clearly. Pricing was fair. The few hiccups we encountered (toilet was initially re-installed incorrectly by a subcontractor and a portion of the carpet needed to be reinstalled because it came defective from the manufacturer) were addressed quickly and resolutely - issues were addressed with an “all hands on deck” mentality. The entire installation process took just over two weeks. Questions and adjustments needed long after the bills were paid have been addressed promptly. It feels like a new house. We love it. Which is exactly how you should feel after making such a significant investment in your biggest investment. Thanks guys!

We have worked with Custom Floors and Custom Stone both while initially building our home and while finishing our basement. We had an excellent experience on each occasion. Most recently, Lee assisted us with a quote for installation of carpet on our stairs in our basement, as well as a quote for countertops. We used Custom Floors for a recent bathroom renovation. We had planned and thought about it for a couple months so we finally had found a contractor and was ready to pick out everything and we went to custom floors looking for flooring, countertops and tile. we talked to Lee Simmons. He was very informative and helpful along the way which made us think of other options and this totally change what we were planning on doing and went a different direction after talking to him. We listened to his ideas and color schemes and combining with our ideas and it came out awesome looking. we appreciate everything that he did to help us, and to make our decisions that much easier.

Our experience with Custom Floors has been fantastic. The customer service provided by Lee has been exceptional. This has been our first experience with any type of home remodel project, so we had a lot of questions and an equal amount uncertainty and fear. We are replacing all flooring on the ground floor, new countertops, sink, faucet, and backsplash in the kitchen. So we knew going in, we had big plans and have to stick to a budget. Lee took his time and guided us through our options...willing to help, never pushing to sell. He provided us with detailed quotes of work to be done and all materials required for each project. His pricing fit our budget.... so combined with his professionalism, design advice, attention to detail, availability for numerous visits to their convenient location, we are confident these projects will be completed beautifully. By giving us this confidence of a successful project, Lee also took away a very big element we started with.... he took away the fear of taking on something so big to us. A big project yes.... but Lee makes it manageable.

One opened up and desperately needed new flooring throughout. Lee helped us get through the entire process. The flooring was great quality and it was installed quickly and professionally. This was the subcontractor hired by Emergent to do our tile work. They have held up our job by weeks! Totally unprepared to do the days work. They were supposed to be finished week before last. They had to come back last week and we were told they would finish all the tile work. They ran out of grout to finish the floor in the bathroom!! They were also supposed to do the backsplash behind the cook top and did not have enough tile which had to be special ordered and overnighted! Because of their ineptness the project has been delayed significantly. We are renting during the remodel and were supposed to be out by December 31st. This has caused a domino effect with the other subcontractors and delayed our ability to move in to the house. Their showroom is nice, the gal who helped us was nice but the install has been terrible!!! You would think as many times as they have installed tile they would order enough for a project and NOT run out of grout! INEXCUSABLE!!!!!

My fiancé and I worked with Janice to pick out LVP and carpet. She was amazing and helped pick out the best floor to match our existing cabinets. I felt very comfortable with her as well as the installation team. There was an issue with the transition piece (didn’t match) around the fire place that the installers caught before they laid the floor. Janice was at my house later in the day to make sure everything turned out great. (The installer was so kind when I told him I really didn’t like it and he said don’t worry we will fix it!). We will go to Janice for any future projects!

Custom Floors and Custom Stone provided seamless service, beautiful quality and expert craftsmanship! Scott Gray worked with us on all six projects of our home remodel and was professional, meticulous and kind. Wonderful Stella and her talented team installed our wood floors beautifully. Jeff, the field install coordinator provided on site communications and made the process stress free and fun. Jose, Edgar, and Guillermo are talented expert tilers. Kasey, Donna, and Callie did an amazing job of coordinating all of our projects. Doug Bishop and his team, Alex, Jorge, Condito, and Zach installed all the quartz countertops, hiding the seams beautifully. Doug and Jorge engineered a hidden sliding mechanism under our quartz countertop to reveal our basement stairs. A huge project that was completed with expertise, creativity and passion. I would highly recommend working with Custom Floors and Custom Stone!

Custom Stone installed granite in my kitchen and did a great job with the installation. Unfortunately, my dishwasher flooded my kitchen and I need to remove the granite and then re-install it. My original sales agent Erin West was non-responsive and when I asked if they could do this for me and when I finally got a hold of her she chose to pass on the project.It's very frustrating having a company only chose the easy work and when you need help they ignore you. I wouldn't recommend Custom Stone due to lack of service throughout the life of the product.

The Caucasian driver with grills in his mouth driving on Raymond on 8/31/23 around 12:55-1PM drove my OFF the street. I almost wrecked and I beeped my horn like no tomorrow, he knew I was there! Y’all lucky I didn’t let the accident happen or I would’ve sued tf out this business. Y’all drivers are reckless and need drug tests done. I called this company multiple times to report the incident idk if it’s fake or what but it hangs right up after each time. So be careful everyone!! Don’t get your flooring done by someone intoxicated who can’t even care for the safety of other drivers or themselves.

I have used Custom Floors in the past many times and I am now in the process of using them again. I am always so happy with how helpful andfriendly they are from the front counter to the sales person (in my caseJanice). Also, they have a large selection and are very easy to work within taking home samples. My installation coordination and communication was perfect. Selling and installing home products like this is not an easy business and I feel they try really hard to avoid misunderstandings.

We had a great experience with Custom Floors. Brad Malia was our sales rep and helped us pick the perfect carpet for our home. He worked with our budget and made sure we were getting the right product for our home and family. Our carpet was installed last week and it looks and feels great! There was a bad transition with the old carpet to the tile in the master bath and I'm not sure how, but the installers completely fixed the issue! Overall we're extremely happy with the service we received and would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend Rodney! He always has a smile on his face, and is very polite with his customers. Amazing granite Installation. I am not sure how this company does on floors. But their installation team does a fantastic job on granite. Beautiful variety, and much to choose from. I don't believe this company deserves such low customer ratings! I love the way their granite looks at my home. They smooth the bottom of the granite, overall just great!

Clarified three times in email and over the phone that I needed a specific part and only if it was in stock, not special order. Came here specifically as they were listed as a Schluter distributor. Then they wanted to sell me the wrong part (Jolly not the DECO-SG) despite giving them the Schluter model number. They don't carry the part I need in stock and they are not substitution so it was a wasted drive out.Oh, and the price for the part they were going to sell me falsely was 50% over retail price AND would charge a fee to use a credit card.Also, also, they got my name wrong on the CONTRACT they wanted me to sign for a simple retailer sale. Unbelievably!

I had Evoke LVP installed on the main floor of my house. The sales people at Custom Floors were very nice and helpful and made the buying process great. The rest of it wasn't so great. Communication with the installation department was difficult at best. When the installers showed up for the job, they claimed to not be aware of any details of the installation (toilet removal, closets, direction of the flooring). The floor looks beautiful however the main walking area the length of the house is not stable and feels like cheap laminate when walking on it. After calling, a manager came, and the entire installation crew showed up also. They looked at it, talked about it (not in English), and agreed it wasn't right and didn't know what to do about it. After calling with no response, and emailing, the owner and someone else finally came to look at it. He said there was nothing wrong with the product, nothing wrong with the installation (their "best installation crew" installed it), and that I would need to live with it. He suggested if I didn't like it, I could put a rug over that area - seriously! I'm not interested in doing business with a company whose owner isn't concerned about customer service or resolving issues.

This is my first time to rate a company online, but I felt it was necessary after my experience at Custom Floors. While the show room is very well done and they have a great selection, the customer service was lacking from the start. I went in to pull samples for luxury vinyl and stated the price point that I wanted to stay within. I was assured by Tracy that they had a "large selection" within that range. Tracy assisted me with pulling about 6 samples as well as 2 sample of tile. My husband and I fell in love with one sample and were excited to place an order immediately. It wasn't until Tracy sent the cost sheet with the cost per square foot that I realized that every sample of vinyl that was pulled was well above my budget, including our first choice. After many conversations with Custom Floors it was clear that we were out of luck. I did decide to move forward with the tile that I also loved only to find that Tracy misquoted the price on the tile as well. After showing proof of the original quote that I had in writing, Custom Floors refused to meet the originally quoted price. We did not end up purchasing any flooring with Custom Floors. There are many other companies that sell flooring, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Our salesperson, Rodney was very energetic and friendly and didn't try to haggle on price. We enjoyed working with him to purchase granite countertops for our kitchen.Our installation was phenomenal. We had Trevor, Chris, and Condido install our counters and they were all courteous and professional, and happy to answer any questions we had while we tried not to hover. :) We are very pleased with the install, and a week later our counters look great!

Purchased all of my building materials from Custom Floors for my new bathroom renovation. Very happy with their selection. Also bought a stone countertop for my custom built vanity and it fit absolutely perfect. Bar none, Custom Floors has the best countertop shop around. So hassle free. Also their sales department was great to get back to me so quickly and was very helpful answering all questions I had. From someone in the construction industry, I will be using Custom Floors with all my personal and professional projects.

First rate performance on our Master Bath renovation. The end result has a WOW factor. After 25 years in our home, it was passed time to remodel our Master Bath. We met with several flooring companies to discuss our ideas and options. From the beginning, Custom Floors did the most thorough job of discussing our goals and understanding what the job would take. Our sales associate, Scott, did an outstanding job of guiding us through the process and giving us valuable design and installation ideas. The installation team, led by Todd, was outstanding. They went over and above in terms of quality and attention to detail. The job was finished 2 weeks ago and the results exceeded our high expectations.

Our experience with Custom Floors was just horrible. To be fair, I wouldn't have written a poor review based on one experience. I gave this company a lot of business and with that came plenty of opportunities to make me a satisfied customer.Their sales people are great. Their showroom is one of the best in the area. The people who actually come out to work on your house? Cheap fly-by-the-night contractors who don't speak English. The supervisor (Brad?) who came out to inspect the work was condescending and arrogant. The owner came out but he made it clear he would only do so much before it cut too deep into his profits. Wow, so with Custom Floors profit comes first, customer satisfaction second. Keep that in mind when dealing with this company.A year has gone by and I still can't walk into my kitchen without feeling angry. The work was second rate, my hand crafted tile was ruined, and the way I was treated was unacceptable. I've learned a few lessons through this experience so it wasn't a complete wash. As for my kitchen, I'm planing to have everything they did torn out and redone.

My sales person, Jen Flegel, was extremely professional and informative in helping me make my flooring decision. We concluded that vinyl (that looks like wood) was my best option. I absolutely love my flooring. Whenever anyone new visits my home, they compliment my floors. The installers worked quickly and efficiently in the short time frame they had to finish.

I usually never rate a company online but this business really doesn't deserve to pursue their flooring, especially after reading that other customers have similar complaints. Custom floors did our floors several years ago. We are now working on changing our floor again. Our computer room has always been cold since. Now when changing the carpet, it was pointed out by our current company that the vent was covered by the carpet placed by Custom Floors. The room has been freezing for years and we couldn't figure out why. They also put large gaps in our kitchen and living room hardwood. If I could rate them with 0 stars, I would. I highly recommend you do NOT choose Custom Floors for your flooring needs.
