Visited the Farmland General Store today. For those looking for hard to find candies or treats this is the place. I hadn't been there for years and some of the old favorites were missing, but that's to be expected. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the vintage decor was really cool. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We'll definitely return!

This has become a favorite stop of ours anytime we are in the area. Absolutely love this little store. Their Tony Packos pickles & peppers and Hot Dog chili's are awesome.

Beautiful flowers, wonderful selection of treats & very friendly staff! I've lived about 20 miles from here my whole life & always just "drove on by" until recently. That won't happen again! Great little store.

Candy &Stuff is a great place to shop. Was there last week for seeds, and onion sets, and today for vegetable garden plant, and a decorative plant for my large planter. This is their second year in bsns. and they are doing great. They will go the second mile for you, and the candy is delicious also!!!!

This is small town America at its best! Passed through on the way to Winchester and we were thoroughly impressed with the town. On the way back we had to stop. Walking into this general store is like a step back in time, and it's awesome. The candy store is very cool, there's all kinds of specialty retail candy you don't see in a grocery store, chocolates in the bins and a very cool, vintage nut machine. The nut machine alone is worth the stop, anyone who likes vintage stuff would like that a lot. The merchandise side is cool too, various things and some old stuff too. Great to stop by if you get the chance. The owner was very relaxed and nice, said we could let ourselves in next door and browse the other shop with more furniture like items. I hope this place sticks around for a long time, and I hope business does well.

A huge selection of candy! A huge selection of stuff! Dark chocolate coffee beans, milk chocolate coffee beans, a wall of jelly bean flavors. Warm fresh nuts like sears used to have( that is probably dating myself). Dark chocolate malted milk balls. Pricing is very reasonable. A sleeper favorite is the chocolate coconut haystack, once you try one, you are hooked, reminds one of a no bake airy cookie or a girl scout Samoa back when they were still made tasty.

Wide variety of candies, all at good prices. The actual "general store" part is cluttered, but full of fun finds. A huge part of historic Downtown Farmland, and well worth a visit.

Good selection of candies.One of the few remaining places with Jelly Belly jelly beans. Replaced their plastic containers with sealed glass ones , the condition and taste of the jelly beans improved greatly. Will be making more trips to Farmland.

BUYERS BEWARE... Visited this shop February 25. Bought lots of candy. Checked the exp date on the first couple of packages I picked up.They were good, so did not check every piece I purchased. When I got home (2 hour's away) I took a bite of my twix... tasted nasty, looked at the exp date, and it expired a year and a half ago!!!!

Sign says they open at 1pm on Mondays I waited an hour in front of the store they never opened. Very frustrating, I normally spend about $50. My son was very disappointed. Not sure if I'll come back again.
