We usually come here to buy faygo or Arizona teas when we are out for a walk.Prices are higher than I'm usually willing to pay.Produce is pretty subpar. Many people say the meat here is very good, but I have no experience with that.

Since new owners took over they over crowded the store with typical habeeb gas station merch the prices have went up on everything and not to mention the rude troll meth head that works chicken. It's a chore to get food made when she's working. Still same over priced store but if not running to Walmart this place dose in a pinch

New owners have destroyed the hometown feel of the store. Made it unsafe to navigate through the store and the employees don’t care anymore. Absolutely atrocious not to mention was going to buy some hot dogs and none had expiration dates on them. Owners are definitely not experienced in grocery stores and shouldn’t have ever bought the store and just stuck to gas stations. Not even local owners had to teach the man in the deli what Colby cheese was embarrassing. I feel so bad for my hometown grocery store. Sell back to someone local who knows what the people in this town actually need from a store!

They don't have prices on any of the bread items and then they never have any nacho cheese made up and containers you always have to get somebody's help to make them up.

It's very convenient to have this store in our town. They have a breakfast deli, a lunch and a supper deli. Food is good and fresh. Prices are a bit high but it's always that way in a small town store. Alot of times they have items you can't find at large stores.

Clean, fast. UPDATE 2023: Under new ownership. Clean, fast, front feels more like a vape shop, but the rest feels like Horners.

This place is no longer called Horner's or Driscoll's, it is now called Lucky's.Not only has the name and ownership changed but I feel that the cost has went up and quality down

Waited over 30 minutes on chicken side, mac and cheese noodles are hard. Told an hour wait for 1/2 pound of livers. Employees were complaining about customers. Got to register and waited another 10 minutes. Definitely need people that care about their jobs. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

On July 25th, 2020 while checking out the cashier lowered her face mask, opened a Slim Jim & proceeded to eat it in front of all the customers. "Shop Local " I don't think so! The employees at this store treat the locals & neighbors as if we are disturbing them. They don't have to worry about me disturbing them anymore as I have just made my last purchase. It is worth while going to Gas City or Marion for anything rather than put up with these employees behavior.

Calling ahead gets you no where here. 3 different times we've ordered food, drove here and they're out of what we ordered. Once my husband waited ten minutes before anyone even came and told him. Their bill machine is usually down so i called ahead to see if it's working, he says, far as I know... drive 8 miles bc we live in the outskirts, and it is down. Other than that, its great. Polite customer service, but I won't be wasting my gas driving here anymore. :/

I don't shop for groceries here often, but their chicken strips and potato wedges are great. The regular strips are good, but the spicy are better. Also always have to get nacho cheese to dip both in.

Very pricey but convenient. Doing a lot of updating of store. Looks nice, Getting lots of new food items for better options. Great meat Dept, deli salads could be better tended to tho it always looks old and out dated.

Friendly service and close to home. Prices aren't to bad on some things. Their hot foods are good but their tenderloins are awesome! Definitely can't go wrong if you get them!.

3 star because of the price hike in meat during COVID-19. Horners is supposed to be a small town store where you want your neighbors to shop including senior citizens & veterans. Hamburger is $5.99 lb for the cheap. $7.99 lb for ground chuck. The people who work (except the owner) are polite & helpful. The store is always clean & stocked great.

This is great for in and out shopping. Sometimes I stop to see what I can find..I find things that you can't find in big stores..there is one in Fairmount and one in Alexander both places are supper...the chicken is a great meal when you need a quick lunch or dinner, regular or spicy...spicy is my favorite.

Of roughly the 10 times I have bought any sort of meat from here, I would say at least four of those times the meat was terrible. The last time I bought breakfast sausage from there I got it home, before unwrapping it had the strongest, most pungent odor of sulfur coming from it. Drive the 10 minutes into town, you'll save time and money.

This is definitely a small town family grocery store. They don't have a huge selection of items, and there are many things that they do not carry. It's good for grabbing a loaf of bread or some milk, and they also have a nice selection of locally baked goods that are good to try. However, if you want to do serious shopping, I would suggest another, bigger store.
