Definitely worth the time! A delightful and fun half day educational attraction in the middle of rural Indiana. Great tour of the hog and milking facilities. The on site restaurant serves excellent food and the staff is pleasant, courteous and professional. The gift shop also has some neat farm appropriate items as well as site produced cheese and candies.

We stayed here for the first time to celebrate a birthday. We were upgraded to a suite (telling us it was one of their nicest rooms). However, the lights in the suite were not all working. When we told the receptionist, she stated that maintenance would be notified with nothing else done for the inconvenience. Upon reserving the room (weeks prior to our stay), Reception was informed that we were celebrating a birthday and going to visit the farm attractions as we had not been there prior. When we went to buy the admission tickets to the park at what we thought would be a discounted price due to staying at the hotel, we were told that we had to go back to the hotel as they should have given us vouchers. Upon returning to the hotel to speak to a receptionist, a manager, and the receptionist who took the reservation, we were told they just had that we were celebrating a birthday and not visiting the park. And because we didn’t purchase “the package” there was nothing they could do for us. I explained several times to each staff member that I had communicated upon reserving the room and check-in that we would be visiting the park with nothing ever mentioned about having to purchase a package. Why wasn’t this communicated at the time of reservation or even at check-in that we needed to purchase a package for the park??!! I would think that Reception would encourage visitors, especially first timers, to visit the restaurant and the park and any events that may be occurring during our stay and provide information about such events. Even the attraction map we found on our own was not very explicit. Probably will not stay here again, as we have received better service elsewhere. Felt they just provided the room and no care/concern about our overall stay. The Farmhouse Kitchen was wonderful. Best Fried chicken and porkchop we’ve ever had.

Stopped in on aug 23,Megan E. took my order incorrectly…ordered a quesadilla @chicken to dine “in”… Order up,and it was “slapped” yes,I said slapped into a Styrofoam container,soooo I left and got back on the road NOT knowing I had NO chicken.I couldn’t even get the pieces seperated. I called going down the road and Nicole who I talked to offered me a refund BUT had to go there in order to receive it.That was impossible,I’m traveling and not returning. HOPE she talked to the help,I WAS NOT HAPPY!!!!

This is the gas station they are very cheerful and i had no problems there at all. They were helpful. They have a full line of food an ice cream center they have all the works right in the gas station. So if you missed out on something or its late and you just want a fair oaks ice cream. I recommend going. They have so much to offer.

This creamery has a bit of everything! They have a wonderful selection of award winning cheeses, ice cream, chocolates, summer sausages and so much more! They have a fabulous grilled cheese sandwich, and homemade chocolate covered cherries that I get everytime I'm there. There's a lot of activities to do and see here. This creamery has been the best one I've ever been to. Fair Oaks farms does a great job of giving you the feel of being on the farm, with a laid back atmosphere where everybody slows down. They will let you sample each of the different cheeses (This is one of my favorite parts!). Beware that once you sample them, you start buying them. Lol.. I purchase their products online when I can't make the 2 hour trip there.

Everything is great. Food Ice cream restrooms. The dog park is brilliant. All amenities for my dog is greatly appreciated. Water...poop bags....jumps ...greatly appreciated. The Restaurant is really good and value priced. Especially on Holidays .

It's the perfect place to stop between Chicago and Indy. The snacks at the BP are good. The meals at the restaurant are even better. It doesn't matter traveling north or south on 65 stop for fuel for yourself and your car.PS, ... The fresh hand dipped shakes are outstanding.

Great cheese, many varieties. You can select cheddar aged from one year to seven years. Wonderful ice cream also. I make this my stopping place when traveling between Indianapolis and Rockford, IL.

Good stop by place to take a break on the highway. Nice kitchen with ice cream varieties. Restrooms clean and good. They have fresh processed milk from the form so I by every time.

Oh my god, if you don't get a shake here then you are really making bad choices in your life. I didn't have time to stop at the whole Fair Oaks Farms complex but I did have enough time to stop in here on my way through the area. I got a chocolate milk shake with malt powder added. They used a ton of their delicious chocolate ice cream in it. Holy freaking cow... If I had been driving, i would have turned around and bought 4 more. It was SOOOO GOOD! They also had some premade deli meat sandwiches that were pretty good (and I am very picky about deli meat, so that's saying something!).

Nope. Big nope. Cow torture chamber. Unless you enjoy watching new born calves taken from their mother's moments after being born, enjoy being lied to about how much the cows "love" being milked in a factory, and agree that they don't need to ever eat any fresh green growing food because the scientifically formulated kibble is best for them. Then this is your place. Personally I was appalled... and I grew up on a dairy farm. These cows are not healthy looking, and the chew their cud incessantly due to extreme anxiety. But the guide will tell you the are super happy and that's why they chew! The birthing "theatre" is a horror show. Imagine giving birth to an noisy audience, then 5 minutes later, you are forced to stand, and despite your protests, led away from your crying newborn, who is removed to a small plastic dog house, alone, without even being able to socialize with the other calves.Gross. Bad. Avoid.

The staff here is really nice and the food is AMAZING! Their milk is the best and they have the best grilled cheese i have ever had. Fair Oaks is the best. ☺️☺️

Do not use the BP or go into that portion of the property. They are too lazy to put paper in the receipt dispenser at the pumps. Which carries into the establishment itself. The bathroom is neglected. I refused to purchase anything more from them.
