Our dog (Olive) and cat (Malcolm) have been patients at the West Side Pet Hospital for years. No matter their malady, the staff has always been attentive and caring. Dr. Marlo is especially devoted to the needs of our furry family members. We also trust Tracy at Paw's Inn with Olive's grooming appointments. Olive can be very nervous in new environments and around people she doesn't know. Tracy is very patient and Olive always looks amazing when we pick her up! Thank you for keeping our best friends happy, healthy, and looking sharp!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My sister boarded her dog at Paws Inn for a weekend and came back to find her in absolutely terrible condition. She had dried feces on her fur and paws, smelled absolutely terrible, was not acting like herself, and now has uncontrollable diarrhea. She was the sweetest pup before boarding her here and was fully potty trained without an accident inside for years. I do not know what happened to my dog but I absolutely would not recommend Paws Inn to anyone.

Dr Messal has been our vet for 13 years and cared for all our cats. He's caring and competent; he's helped us make pretty hard decisions about quality of life and he's helped our cats through serious illnesses. I trust him completely! His vet techs are also super nice and so is the whole office staff. Strongly recommend!!

I have brought my Bengal, Tigger, to this office before and REALLY liked the staff and Tigger had beneficial care! However, on Feb 28, 2018 I brought her in for exam and shots and she had an ear infection. They said a fecal exam was also due, however, since Tigger goes outside, I did not have a sample and agreed (wish I had not!!), to let the doctor take a sample. Tigger has NEVER liked anyone to touch her 'area' and is quite combative, I addressed this and was told they would 'try', but if it was a struggle, I'd bring in a sample later. I heard Tigger screaming in the back office where they attempted to get this sample. The nurse returned stating that they had an issue with her, she tried to escape !! and in doing so, 'there was blood'!!! Tigger was not right from this point on... and I called many times asking for the doctor to explain what happened. Tigger was not eating, throwing up, lost 2 lbs.! OVER five days, ALL I got was, we'll give you some pain tablets??? Doctor NEVER spoke to me!! On Monday, 3/5th I called several vets.... got an immediate apt AFTER still asking this vet AND they told me to take her to the other VET!!!?? Thankfully, as I held her, the other Vet, Greenbrier, gave her antibiotic shot (for bladder infection she encountered from procedure at West Side)!! AND a pain shot (which was never offered at West Side.. only pills which I'd never get into her)... AND a calming shot. She is now slowly improving... I think this doctor hurt her more than he realized and he SHOULD NOT HAVE TRIED seeing that she was combative to this!!!! I have still not heard from this doctor....

Took our dogs here while we were on vacation, they seemed very happy when we picked them up and well taken care of, I gave 4 stars cause I'm not sure that they get outside time while they were here but as long as my fur babies were loved, fed, and well taken care of that's what matters most.

This was a wonderful experience for me and my cat BOBO. He was boarded there for a totally of 10 days, he came back happy-go-lucky. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They acomidated all of my cats needs. My cat is diabetic so it was very difficult to find a boarding place that would take him. Not to mention for the amount of time he was boarded there even with his needs was only 16:50 per day.

We have been clients for years. We have had to put one dog to sleep and one passed away while there. The staff have been great every time we've been there. They are compassionate and caring. When our dog passed away there, they cleaned her up, trimmed her nails, and gave us a room to bring our kids in to see her one last time. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

*********WARNING WARNING WARNING**********This place is an absolute joke. For years we've been going there for non critical pet issues and for years have put up with half hearted and very poor quality care. We were hoping would get better because of their location. Let me tell you it did not. After being told today that since they are not accepting cash which is what I had to pay with that I could just call when ingot home with card information. I sat and waited for my dog to go home and kept seeing other dogs that were after me come out I asked were my girl was cause they said she was done. They said they would check, minutes later call from same lady who's name was Diane called back saying she was not gonna let me dog go till she received payment. Which intryed to pay cash and also was told was fine to call in when home with card number that neither one would work and I'd I wanted Suzy back that I had to go home get card come back then get Suzy. That alone is ridiculous but I would've accepted that if that hadn't already told me otherwise. With quality of care I've received and the horrible customer service they have shown they do not care about your pet, just your 💰tell your friends as well not to go close em down

Have heard good things about the place. Anyone looking into this place should note that the website is very much giving off a "we paid to make it look nice a few years ago but can't easily update it" vibe. The onboarding form is woefully out of date as there is only one vet left of the four listed and they're so overworked there are no new patients being taken in the foreseeable future.

Our dog was really sick. Vomiting and diarrhea, wouldn't eat, his stool had blood in it and he was lethargic. He's a yorkie and weighed 8 lbs, and quickly started losing weight. The doctor saw him the same day. The doctor gave him a shot for the Vomiting and sent home a bag of meds. It didn't take but a couple of days to get him better. He his back to his active little self and has his appetite back. Thank you West side Pet Hospital!

I've been talking my dogs here for a long time. Was happy with the vet and was happy with the staff until the last few visits. I spend a lot of money on my older dogs and am happy to do it, but when the staff acts like you are a bother to even walk in the door, I draw the line. Actually the last call I did have from the vet letting me know my dog was in renal failure, his abrupt tone with me has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and my pets will not be going back,

We adopted an older cat who isn't the friendliest and she unfortunately had alot of hair mats in her tail from her previous situation and was kept in a small room most of her life. We brought her in today to be groomed by Tracey. She did an amazing job. I wanted her cut into the "lion cut" because I thought it was cute. Tracey educated me on why that isn't good for cats and why our cat was behaving the why she was. Tracey handled Ava amazing for an grumpy old lady cat,you can tell she loves all animals. We talked about our other animals which we have a Serval African Jungle cat and she knew all about it! I will definitely be back and are going to switch our dog and 3 cats to Westside Vet and grooming even tho it is out of the way because I had a great experience. She also told me our cat was Himalayan which was super exciting!

We boarded our geriatric dog at Paw's Inn for 10 days. When we dropped her off, she clearly did not want to go back there (she had stayed before). When I picked her up, I found out that they fed her HALF of what we had told them to feed her. It was right there on her chart how much we wanted to feed her, but they cut it in half. She had clearly lost weight when I finally saw her. When I pointed out that they hadn't fed her, the person just laughed about it. She didn't apologize on behalf of the business, and she didn't offer strategies for doing better in the future. She just shrugged and brushed it off. I'm disappointed that they didn't take better care of my dog.

We had been cutting our dog's hair for several years and finally decided to let a groomer make her pretty again. Zoey came home happy, shiny, soft, and smelling good. We were so happy with the attention to detail they spent on her, with her ears and nails especially. They were also very easy to work with as far as timeliness and convenience. We will be customers for life!

If only i could give zero stars.My dog was a regular patient here for a couple years, and i had always had good service.A couple months ago, my dog developed a cyst on one of his hind legs. I brought him to this vet, and they told me that because of the cyst being located near the joint, he would need immediate surgery to remove it because it was going to continue to grow and most likely ruin his leg.I immediately started saving money, because it was going to be fairly expensive surgery. I finally got the money together this week and dropped him off for surgery this morning.A few hours later, I am notified by the vet that the cyst had disappeared, but they had already sedated him before discovering this, so I would be responsible for paying for the anesthesia. When questioned, they said I shouldn't have waited so long to schedule the surgery.So they knocked my dog out (which scares me anyway because of possible side-effects) for absolutely no reason whatsoever, then charged me $80.00 for the trouble.No apology.No anything.They just acted like it was a normal practice to use anesthesia on your beloved pet when it wasn't even necessary in the first place.I'm just thankful that I didn't have the money at the original visit... I assume they would have cut him open for no reason as well.

Switched vets a year ago and glad we did. Found out from our new vet that our dog had seizures as a result of anesthesia and they had it in her record but never told us. They also didn’t give our dog pain medication when she broke her leg because they said she wouldn’t need it as she laid there crying. Glad we left. I’d recommend taking your pet elsewhere.

They took care of my dog when he had seizures but when i took my cat who appeared to be sick i found out there prices were insanely high when they charged me over 600 to tell me my cat was dying and nothing could be done. When other people i know got all the same tests and treatment to remove cancer for less

This place is NOT a pet hospital!! AT all!! They lying to everyone!! There is no vet there so there is no use taking your sick or wounded pet there!! They will send you away telling you to wait for the emergency hospital to open at 6!!

i had to put down my beagle of 9 years due to kidney problems. after doing some research to late i realized the Dr had missed the symptoms early on and that could have made the difference....also the symptoms i told him about he basically blew off. he is a first class hack I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER ANIMAL THERE

Will not go here again. I have been a ckient of them for over 5 years i have multiple pets i used to take to them. We have a dog that got in a fight and ripped his ear open we called them and told them what happened they told me to bring him in. We were only there maybe 15 minutes vet walked in the room didnt even touch my dog told me he thinks it would need stitches but he couldnt do it today. He did not touch me dog and was in the room for more then a few minutes. I left and now am recieving a bill in mail for him examining my dog when he didnt even touch him. They could of told me over the phone they wouldnt of been able to do anything today and i wouldnt of brought him in. This place is a joke since they lost their other vet. Main vet is very rude and is all about the money. Do not go here!

My family took our cats here when I was growing up now my wife and I take our own cats. I've always been pleased with how friendly the vets are and that they will take the time to talk to you and really discuss your pet's health!
