There were employees every place I went looking for something and I got assistance for what I couldn't find. Store was very clean. Check out lines not busy. Had a good time returning some gas connection hoses and shopping for odds and ends I needed while there!

I like the selection of home depot 1000x better than Lowes. Lowes is a joke compared to home depot. But the employees at home depot made me feel like they were following me as a suspected theif. But honestly I probably did look suspicious because of how I was just causally browsing going back and forth between a few sections for a long time. I can shop in the tool department for an hour easy even though my plans were to get a single item and leave. They eventually realized that I wasnt a shop lifter after talking with me for awhile. They weren't mean at all and did their job well.4 stars only because I think someone the items are marked up compared to various online sellers. I came in for just the $60 air ratchet..

Make sure when you buy their products online that they absolutely won't assemble it even though I called the night before and explained that I didn't know they offered it and one guy told me to bring it in for free so I paid for a rental truck just to come in and the assembler said they wouldnt.

Kara DiDomizio, who works in flooring, went above and beyond for me. Never have had a better sales person in my life. Her product knowledge was outstanding and her personality and enthusiasm was infectious! Whatever you are paying her- pay her more! I work in sales and am not above stealing great employees when I can find them as they are few and far in between now a days!

A couple of very odd interactions with staff. Maybe they weren't used to seeing a female alone in a hardware store? I knew what I needed but was over-explained to. I was just trying to get in and find what I needed with help finding the correct aisle.A lot of things in the way throughout the store and I was unable to easily navigate the aisles.They did have what I needed and once I eventually found it, no issues.

Listen. I understand times are tough in 2023, but Home Depot has to do a better job. I had a friend come in to get material loaded onto his work truck. The incompetent fork lift driver was able to load the material properly, but almost took the entire tailgate on the truck with him. Unacceptable. If you live by “How Doers Get More Done”, how was my friend supposed to get more done without a tailgate? Figure it out.

I have been shopping for a 3" wood chipper for a couple of weeks, on line and at business's. Home depot had exactly what i wanted and at 300.00 less. It is an awesome machine, does exactly what its designed to do.

My husband had picked out a few items and started walking to the self checkout to purchase them— an employee then started grabbing his items and scanning them in at his register without asking first. He then told his coworker (in front of my husband), “Yeah, we need to stay on top of this— make sure people don’t go through the self checkout lanes and leave without scanning all of their items”. Incredibly rude. He then handed the items back to my husband and wouldn’t give him a bag, so he had to walk out with his arms full and had to set his items on the ground in the parking lot to get his keys out to unlock his car. This was our favorite home improvement store because we hate going to Lowe’s, but I guess it’s time to switch over to Lowe’s.

Such friendly, helpful employees. Got an awesome Christmas tree for only $40. A nice tool box for good price. Not the one I originally wanted, those were sold out because they were a good price too. Very well organized and clean. Will be shopping there again for sure.

Our visit to Home Depot was very nice. It was a short trip because I only needed two things and I found them in short order without having to ask a store employee.When I reached the self checkout right away the store attendant offered to show me how to use the checkout. It was new to me and I really appreciated their help. The staff at this Home Depot are ALWAYS kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is well run by their managers and department heads.Well stocked, great signage and the aisles flow easily.Thank you Home Depot.

I'd like to thank the staff at the Westside Evansville Home Depot! I ordered 4 dining chairs online. When I ordered them I thought I just needed to screw the seats to the chair frames, but when I received them the seats were not pre-drilled. I called HD and Glenn, the manager, said that if I brought them in they would attach the seats. I have a small car so I had to bring them in one at a time. Austin and Dylan worked on my chairs in between customers. They did a great job and took care to put down a pad so that the chairs wouldn't get scratched while they worked. The chairs look great and feel really sturdy. Everyone I met there that day was very helpful. Great customer service! Thank you all!

I went to Home Depot to pickup a towel rack after recent bathroom update. The greeter at the door was friendly! He looked to be past retirement age but seemed happy to be there! He asked if he could help me find anything and I asked "where are your towel racks located?" Imagine my shock when he replied " Follow me I'll take you there". We walked over three quarter the length of the store and he stopped and and said here they are. I said "Thank You I appreciate that". This man obviously is as old school as I am and apparently has likely forgotten more about customer service than the younger staff I have recently encountered have learned! Home Depot hired a true winner in this kind gentleman! What a pleasant experience!!

Have a big variety of items. Seems easy to find what you are looking for. Prices are going up. Don't like the self check outs.

Customer service employees were nice. However, the man in appliance department was condescending and not helpful at all. I will not be buying anything from this store ever again solely because of how unhelpful and rude this man was. I would suggest putting him through customer service training. Especially when it comes to talking to females. He spoke to me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about or like I didn’t know anything about what I was needing.

Nice store. But....... don't have real cashiers only self check out.Also, they have changed the veteran discount option. No one seems to know about it. Even the manager does not. I called and he didn't bother to mention they were changing the procedure. He just said they still honor the discount sorry they didn't give it to us???? When actually You need to re- apply to the new system to get a discount.
