Great old bookstore. It's moved into other used media, and comic books since I visited last before they moved.Glad to see the book selection is still there. I didn't have time or energy to get to all of the stuff, as i don't do stairs. Next time.They had a comic book artist appearance when I visited didn't want to bother anyone by going upstairs.

I've been going to the Book Broker for years. I've purchased and sold many items there over the years. They've got a large selection of books, movies, music, games, cards, and about anything else you could imagine. Prices are reasonable for both buying and selling. I feel like they've always been fair when I've dealt with them through the years. The Book Broker is my go to place for music and movies.

If you love books and music, this is your jam. Great selection of used books (paper and hard), used CD, DVD. Comic books, board games. Really fun place to get lost in with tons to dig through. The biggest plus is that the staff is chill and fun. Give this spot a chance if you are in town.

Took some old CDs there got rid of them got a decent price couple months later took some DVDs there and they said they could not use them they were honest so no big deal

Biggest take away is throw sticker prices out the window. Everything you see is very expensive on the price. Usually they will come down on stuff. They are cleaning up the shop a lot, but they still have a lot to do. I bought $80 sticker price of cards for $20.. That being said, they have good people working there that are easy to work with

Great selection of hardcover and paperback books. Sometimes you will find really rare stuff! The staff were hard to work with and I got the distinct impression I was annoying the gentleman behind the counter with my book purchases.

I took my husband so that he could look at cards and card sleeves. They did have a decent selection of comics, cards, books, music, etc. It just seemed like they primarily carry new comics and cards. If you go upstairs, they have a lot of used books and vinyl records. The new books downstairs are priced at cover value. I found a book that I wanted and it was $35 brand new. I found the same book, brand new on Ebay for $20. So, I would advise shopping around. I would definitely go back and browse the used books though.

Great selection of comics. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't get your hopes up if you're looking for books, they have a bunch but the organization is non-existent.

I've been dealing with the Book Broker since I was a teen and they were located on Weinbach Ave. This is truly a great place to go for comic books. They've been able to hook me up with back issues I've been searching for on several occasions. I feel most everything I've bought from them hasn't been overpriced or overly marked up.The employees are where this place really shines. The staff I normally deal with are very knowledgeable of comic book nerd stuff and willing to give you their honest opinions.The Book Broker also has a couple of tables full of long boxes filled with 1$ comics. There is some great stuff if you take the time to comb through it all.This place also sells legit comic book t-shirts. I've bought a couple of Sandman shirts for my wife. It's awesome to get proper Tee's local.I can't comment on their other items such as books, movies or video games as I haven't purchased any.

There's something about the atmosphere of a used bookstore that just welcomes you immediately. Far more talented wordsmiths than myself have waxed lyrically about the draw and the magic of such places, and The Book Broker doesn't disappoint in that regard. One can spend hours browsing the shelves for their next read. Or their next dozen reads. The prices range from 50 cents to a dollar twenty-five fir most books there, so you can fill a bag without breaking the bank. They also have a large selection of table-top games and accessories as well as DVDs and blu-rays.

I have visited the book broker several times and have bought a few boxes of books from them. I’ve never had anything but pleasant encounters with the staff until today.While browsing movies after book shopping, I watched and listened as a male staff member got frustrated with a customer’s question. After throwing up his hands and complaining or arguing, however you want to phrase it, he went upstairs to double check that they didn’t have what the customer wanted.Then it was my turn. I’d left some books I didn’t want on their table after checking some Goodreads reviews, and now it was my turn to check out. I apologized for leaving some behind, which I didn’t have to do. He was frustrated/irritated, and scolded me, saying “no one really does that”. He pointed out that he’d brought another box up, since I thought I might need two.I thought about leaving my box of boxes on the counter and leaving, but I was raised better than that. So, I paid and remained polite.It really bothered me both then and a few minutes afterward as I drove home. I hate to lose a place I so enjoyed shopping at. Very sad.

Have sold here with excellent Service. The gentleman who specialized in sports cards was phenomenal. Would have been a 5 star visit but I'm assuming the manager or owner of the shop was on the guy dealing with me making it a little awkward. But overall good card and comic selections.

I used to live in Evansville in the early 2000s. I have such fond memories! Fast forward 20 years later, I live in Florida now, and I still have DVDs in my collection with that little yellow sticker with "$9.95" handwritten on it. I'm so glad this place is still open!

This place has such a wide variety of books and I can always find something. You can also bring in books and they'll give you in-store credit for them. They don't take textbooks and you have to make sure to take off any price tags.

This place has a bit of everything. Prices are usually very competitive and you never quite know what you will find. Hidden gems appear from time to time, but don't hang around for long.

This place reminds me of the old comic book store I used to visit in my younger years. Great place to hunt for an old collectable. I personally buy card skins to cover my DC NFT card collection. I have also shopped comics there. Traded in DVDs. And over the years it seems to be a lot more functional and organized.

Great store. Love the card tournaments and the amount of stuff you can get. I only have one issue. The sign on the door that says no concealed firearms. So…you are telling me, you want me to leave my gun in the car, on one of the most dangerous streets in evansville indiana, in one of the most dangerous cities in indiana. I think the owner needs to reconsider personally. Makes it hard to continue to want to support the business with policies in place like that. :/

It's very friendly to everyone. No one makes fun of you for questions you have, and staff is super friendly and welcoming! They keep the place organized and clean. I look forward to going every time I go. Even when I'm not going, I long to go.

Went there to try to get some cash for some dvd's as I'm down on my luck with no job & gas prices thru the roof. Out of the 12 box sets I brought they only offered to take 4 or 5 at $10... not each. ..$10 for all 4 box sets...with 4 or 5 dvd's in each set. They weren't in bad shape...they just won't take them if they already have them. I realize things go down in value... but c'mon!

We were greeted as soon as we entered which was nice, and we were able to look around at our own pace. The store has a small selection of lots of different types of things but prices on some items, such as board games, are a little higher but that isn't a big deal since they are a independent store and need to charge a bit more to stay in business. On this visit, we were looking for a particular book. While they do have quite a few used books, the arrangement of them makes finding something specific very challenging.

Very nice place to get some movies, games, and books for a cheap price. Can't beat it! Super mega replay is nice and all, but Book Broker takes the cake with the awesome prices! One thing I really love is that they have a bit of everything! Comics, POP!s, posters, books, movies, games (video games and board games), and probably more! Very nice service also which is a definite plus especially with how some other places are. 5/5 stars for me. Can't wait to see them expand their business and I hope they do soon!

This is an amazing place. I had to limit how many times I'd go because I would spent too much time and money here. The movies are sorted by genre. I'd just go genre by genre flicking through movies that always had amazing prices. Then I'd do a quick walk through if the books and grab my needed comics. There's other used media stores in Evansville with better organization but Book Broker has the best prices. Definitely one of my favorite places in Evansville.
