We have used Meijer Pharmacy for 2 yrs for price, but lately it seems our pills are not in inventory or there is some question about the doctor's prescription. Pharmacy needs to be available for questions about the medication, but do not think pharmacy should overturn the doctor's prescribed medication and refuse to fill the order which Meijer has done with us. It seems Meijer in Evansville is playing the doctor's role and overstepping their role just like the health insurance companies. Power is being abused at Evansville Meijer Pharmacy in our opinion.

I called the store manager after being sold a jug of orange juice that would not open for anything. When calling the store and speaking to the store manager, his only suggestion of helping was to: twist the cap. Literally. When I repeated this back to him he laughed and said he couldn't think of anything else to do. I confirmed that he was the store manager (in disbelief) and he then suggested I could return it. Very not impressed with customer service tonight. I guess I'll just drive 30 minutes to exchange a jug of oj, thanks.

Literally the absolute worst pharmacy in Evansville. I have tried to use this pharmacy and give them multiple chances, but every single time I do, they screw it up horribly. I called them to see if they had my medication in stock before I went to get it, and they told me that they couldn’t even tell me if they had my medication or not. They literally refused. They are absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend that no one ever use this pharmacy. The staff is all terrible and have absolutely no respect for anyone or their time. Stay away.

One of my favorite grocery stores and the staff is always friendly, the vegetables and baked goods are always fresh and delicious. They carry a variety of goods that you can’t find anywhere else in town and the prices are not too expensive. Checkout area is also pretty fast. The pharmacy and staff are always fast and efficient with my orders. The Starbucks inside the store is also a plus..

Prescriptions are rarely ready when we go to pick up.If a Dr. calls something in and says it’ll be ready this afternoon. We show up to the pharmacy and they haven’t started filling or they are waiting for a truck to come in tomorrow. Then when we arrive the next day they start filling the order.The staff is generally courteous and kind.We call ahead to make sure the prescription is received and being filled, show up expecting to wait 20min for it to be filled, and we’re prepared to be told to come back tomorrow.It’s gotten us into a bind 1-2 times when we had to have a medication in emergency scenarios.

Pharmacy: If there’s one thing I cannot stand and that is liars, you should be held responsible for your screw ups. You have no respect for people and or Doctors who count on you to fill prescriptions. Sounds like a tuff job. One day karma will catch up with you and you know who you are, you have some very good few employees who I hope finds a better place to work. I will not recommend you and will be glad to share my experience with anyone thing about using you! Your incompetence could lead to someone not getting the recommended dosage of medication needed. Used to be my go to for meds, but sadly they aren’t as helpful any more. Can’t even tell me if my prescription is in stock before I spend an hour getting it called in, I simply just “hope” I’m not wasting my time and find out after sending it in. Beyond annoying, a simple “Yes you won’t have any issue getting it” is just fine. Time to find a new pharmacy

I only give one star because zero stars was not an option.Short version is, if u NEED your medication when it’s due for refill, go somewhere else because miejers pharmacy has a lot of incompetent liars that don’t do their job!!!My husband takes a medication that is VERY IMPORTANT not to miss a dose.However, with meijer pharmacy it is IMPOSSIBLE not to miss medication because they are notorious for not filling it when it’s due.They LIE and say it’s not due yet. Then when the doctor sends in an extra request to fix miejers screw ups, they LIE n say they never received the one he sent 2 days ago nor the one he sent today. They tell me Dr has to call to authorize it.But, when the dr calls, they tell him a different story. Imagine that, LIES again!!! Trish Haire

Hate to give one star!! Always out of any medication even medication that is ordered once a month. Red head has no customer service skills at all. I have given this store plenty of times to fix issues and it just keeps getting worse. The few good staff they have had in the past must of all been off. Except the lady who got prescription ready. I’m having mine and sons stuff switched done waiting in long lines just to get up there and the message being sent out was wrong. Good luck!!!!Mr rude

I just called to ask about a medicine type at the pharmacy, by my dr might I add. And the tech was so rude. She stated they don’t give out narcotic information, I just needed a yes or no. All the other pharmacies have been helpful, cvs, Walgreens, nations, others Meijers. Not this one. Hateful rude.

Rude and incompetent staff. For every 3 pharmacists you have there, only 1 of them will actually know what they are doing. Can't even enter discount cards right. The woman I just spoke with had the audacity to get smart with me and I know her rude self didnt put my info into the system right to look up my prescription. If you gonna approach me with attitude, have your information right first! Made you look plain goofy sis. Go stock shelves and get out of the pharmacy before you mess something up.

I have no other choice but to get a certain prescription filled here monthly due to this being the only local pharmacy that will accept my discount card for this medication( and the price difference is GREAT!) This is the very worst pharmacy I have ever experienced and it is ALL on the STAFF!! Ryan is so impatient and rude. When I call to fill my medication they tell me something that hinders filling it in a timely manner EVERY TIME! !!! TODAY, I caught them in a flat out lie! When I asked about the information I was just given she said Im not doing this and click put me on hold then rude ol Ryan picked up the phone and I said: Last month you told me that I had to wait on a truck or shipment to get my meds filled which would be after 3pm yet your staff just told me that they had filled it already by at 8:55 a.m. so... I was about to say when you and your staff were telling me I had to wait ALL day it was already filled but could not say it because I was interrupted at so by Ryan saying your meds arent due until tomorrow, We wont be filling them today, if you dont like it, you can go somewhere else!!! I told him he wasnt even listening to me because thats not even what I was asking.... Im calling corporate yet again!... RYAN: IF ANYWHERE ELSE TOOK MY DISCOUNT CARD? DONT YOU BELIEVE Id already be getting it filled there instead? Get it together MEIJER PHARMACY! SMILE! TREAT PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS! DECENCY! Rude staff and poor customer service. I stood at the drop of window for several minutes before I was acknowledged. Finally someone asked “do you need some help? What’s up?” I think they should be brushed up on their greeting skills. All of them are flat out rude.

Although I live in Newburgh, I've found Meiers to have the quickest & best service for prescriptions. They wait on customers much, much faster than CVS, or Walgreens. Plus they don't shut it down for lunch.

I do like going to this pharmacy, I've never had any trouble with them. The employees are nice and helpful. They also have a good rewards system for when you get 5 medication refills you earn a credit that goes towards rewards that you can choose from. I like it when you earn one credit and you can use it towards a reward where you save $10, or if you have two credits you can save $20. I think that's pretty good, at least you're getting something in return from getting your medication(s) refilled.

Very rude staff. I was told the give free prenatal vitamins to pregnant woman by my Dr. Today I went in to ask and the lady actually laughed in my face. Just because people aren't as well off in life as you that doesn't give you the right to pick and choose who you treat like a decent human.

I started going to them when I had no insurance because they were the cheaper ones to go to and that's with the good rx card seem Walmart stopped taking it. And when I got insurance I stayed with them because I've never had an issue with them. They send me a text letting me know that my meds r in the process of being filled and then I get another one letting me know they r filled.When I call they r friendly and if I have any concerns they answer them. And as much as I go there a couple of them seem to know me by name by now. LolThey just don't like to say bye or have a nice day when they hang up. But other than that I haven't had any issues with any of staff down there.

update 3: Why do they allow a single car to sit at the window for more than 10 minutes?Update 2: Good things never last. How is a drive thru pharmacy so slow?Update: It has been better the past month or so. I hope they keep it up. Original: Maybe they need more staff or better training, but this place is slow. We go here because medications tend to be cheaper than Walgreens or CVS, but I'm not sure if the trade-off makes sense going forward.

Every encounter with their staff has been frustrating. The staff can not figure out how to handle insurance and half the time we are told we cannot pick up a prescription except during very odd hours. Overall pretty poor experience every time.

The most inconsistent pharmacy I've ever had to use. 90% of the time I call ahead to get a script filled, they give me a wait time and I wait that amount of time. When I get there (if they dont try and tell me that I cant fill it for that day) they tell me that it will be another 30-60 min. I cant think of a time in 7 months that I could actually go and pick up a script on time, that I called in prior to me leaving my house. I always have to wait in the parking lot. Which clearly defeats the purpose of calling ahead of time.Ex. I called at 10 a.m. they said we will have it filled in 30 min. I get there at 11:10, the lady tells me that I cant fill it for another 3 days. So I then tell her I go through this almost every month. So I have to wait another 5 min for her to go "talk to someone" for her to come back and tell me it will be another 20-25 min wait.

I agree with most of the other reviews they have no idea what they are doing. Come to pick up a prescription and I’m told to wait 40 minutes then come back and another 20 minutes then come back and another 20 minutes. And extremely rude people

Rude just rude. First youre told scripts are ready then when you go there they expect you to wait for an hour. Jamie actually hung up on me saying “ the longer you talk the longer it will take to fill”. Night before some guy was talking over me and and rude. A lot cheaper than walmart with a good rx card but thinking i made a mistake switching!! Absolutely no customer service skills!

Everything was going excellent with these guys, staff is friendly, prices lower than Walgreens. Until I call to have a script filled the night before, they tell me they’ll have it ready at 10:00 am the next morning. Okay, cool. Get here at 11:00 “oh, sorry we’re out of that. I don’t know who you talked to, but we can’t do anything for you” what a damn waste.

I really dont like being lied too. I always call multiple times before making trips out there. On multiple occasions i was told my medicine would be ready at A certain time, i always go hours after they tell me it will be ready. Then i get a attitude telling me its not ready, and it wont be till the next day. These are medications that people NEED. If its time for it to be filled, and you tell them its gonna be ready at a certain time then it should be ! If it can't be fulfilled then You shouldnt tell them so they can fill it somewhere else, or whatever they need to do to get the medicines they need on time. You shouldnt tell someone it will be ready at a certain time and they waste there gas, time, and energy. Then get attitude about it. Not cool.

Staff is very rude and impatient. Their prices on prescription meds are more than double anywhere else. There have been instances where I've tried speaking to someone but no one answered the phone.

Neighbor took me to Meijer'S, in order for me to save money. I found i saved not one penny strawberrys were huge half were darkened and bad.The rest were so tough couldnt chew them .I threw them away.Then bought carton of RC's they were 2.11 cents more than Walmart on a carton they watched people gosh i felt very uncomfortable. Wont be going back!!!!!!#!

They never seem to have any of my prescription medicine 'in stock'.....even the basic blood pressure medications. I find that a bit strange but what do I know.
