We are always pleased with the job they do here. We recently got a one year old puppy that was pretty matted and they were able to bring out the beautiful little pup under the mats! For years before that we have taken our older baby girl, Faith for grooming. She always looks great when we pick her up.I would definitely recommend Evansville Pet Grooming for your grooming needs. (p.s. please note that all the negative reviews are around 4 to 8 years ago under different management/groomers)

Paws World did a wonderful job grooming my big baby. He has separation anxiety but he did fantastic with Senta and the rest of the staff. He looks adorable and smells even better. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I've got a very fussy cavapoo who requires frequent grooming. The entire team at EPG is amazing. They're patient, gentle, and pet focused. They offer so many services and make sure to take their time with every dog. I recommend them to everyone who has a dog, but especially dogs who are extra particular.

I took my pit mix Nikki there to get her nails trimmed. She does not like getting them done at all. The groomer was very patient with her and did a great job! Will definitely be back and would recommend!

We were very happy with the results on our cat. She wasn't distressed while getting her hair cut or afterwards. The employee was very good with her. So glad they are open on Saturday mornings. Cost was very reasonable.🐱🐱

Excellent service! My dog has major anxiety and doesnt like many people. Both the owner and other groomer work so well with my dog. She has no problems going there. I recommend this place to anyone wanting their dogs groomed.

I called on December 26th with a grooming emergency for a neglected pet. The staff promptly returned my call and offered multiple times they would be willing to help. I was in within 48 hours and received excellent service. Better yet, my dog was loving on the groomer when I arrived to pick her up. We take our three pugs to Senta, they come out so clean and smell so good! She brushes their teeth, trims their nails, expresses them all and they smell great because she cleans every nook and cranny on them. Highly recommend Evansville Pet Grooming.

I have been taking my little dog there for over a year. Last groom they injured 3 of her 4 nipples and did not only not inform me of the injury...they denied they even did it. Very unprofessional and I will never take my fur baby back. After never complaining for over a year...all they had to do was apologize and maybe next visit is free. They handled very poorly.

great place with professional staff. You're dog won't be shaved without consent. You're dog won't need shaved if you run a brush and comb through the coat. it is not the groomer's job to keep your dog's coat clean and combed out between grooms.

I take my dog, Gizmo, here multiple times a year for general grooming and maint. I've never had any issues and the staff is very professional. Senta, the owner, is always courteous and amiable to my random appts. I would definitely recommend.

The first time they did a great job, but the second time I brought my dog in they butchered him. His ears bled for a week. I asked them to be more careful next time and they would not acknowledge that they did anything wrong. The third time, it's like they didn't even try. If you want a consistent haircut, go somewhere else. Also, they don't take credit or debit, only cash or check.

I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism with which this salon owner handled an angry mob that was sent against her for doing the humane thing for a dog. As professional groomers our FIRST priority is to the dogs in our care. It is NEVER, under ANY circumstances, acceptable to cause harm to an animal for vanity purposes. For a person to try to destroy a person's life because they weren't able to cow the lady into abusing the dog for them speaks volumes to the lack of character of this dog's owner. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Mary groom their dog, because obviously she values doing the RIGHT thing over giving in to spiteful bullies.

I love this shop. I've been taking my shih-tzu, Minnie, here for years. It's easy to make an appointment, and the staff is very friendly. They do a wonderful job cutting her unruly 'cotton' hair type.My dog knows exactly what's going on when she arrives. Her attitude completely changes after she's groomed. as a professional dog groomer for many years i am saddened by such a lack of understanding about our industry. we love dogs and grooming is hard physical work and believe it or not takes talent and knowledge of dogs. i guarantee the before picture of the collie was taken years ago after a fresh groom. many owners only brush the surface of the coat leaving all the matting to the skin and at age 13 shaving down a matted collie is the kindest thing you can do and is NOT harmful at all. but making a large matted 13 yr old collie stand for hours while ripping at the coat is

Good groomers do not allow owners to bully them into torturing their dogs. I'd be proud to have this person groom my dogs. And I'd besides I'd be OK I do not allow my dog to be matted.The person leading this libelous campaign doesn't even know the dogs breed. She SIGNED a consent. The check in was videoed.Hair grows back. Matts just get worse. BAD owner. To bad there is no rating system for ownership.

Thank you for putting the dog's comfort above all. As a groomer, I know what torture it would have been to that poor dog to try and rip the matted undercoat out. No matter what anyone says, please rest easy knowing you did the right thing. Any professional in the pet industry knows how cruel it would have been to that senior dog to try and comb it out. It makes me sad when owners neglect their dogs and expect a groomer to perform a miracle. God bless.

I have been taking my 3 dogs and 1 cat here for years and have had nothing but the absolute best service! The whole mess of a media circus with Kathryn Penland and her Collie that she neglected for months prior to bringing it into get groomed is ridiculous and she should be ashamed of herself for dragging the name of this wonderful establishment threw the mud! I will continue to bring my pups here for as long as I can, and I hope everyone else would be wise enough to make their own judgements of this groomer instead of reading one-sided stories on the internet that are totally trumped up! I believe that your policies and your actions in this horrible situation show that you are a professional. You did what was in the best interest of the dog because obviously the owner was not. Shaving that rough coated collie (sorry bearded collie according to the owner) did not put that dog in any sort of harm but you relieved it of the discomfort caused by the matting. I hope you can come out of this and move forward.

best salon around!! and by the way that lady owns a rough collie not a bearded one. she doesn't even know what breed of dog she owns, yet claims to know how to properly maintain a double coat?! before you go bashing this groomer consider the source. the condition that dog was in was a direct result of the owners neglect to care for the coat properly. she had pictures posted on Facebook clearly showing the dog in terrible shape. this groomer helped that poor dog. why doesnt anyone who wants to bash her imagine how it would feel to be covered in long hair that was knotted to the skin. imagine try to move and live. the amount of pain would be severe. given the other option, shaving was the humane thing to do. unless you think ripping hair out if the skin to demat is a better option. bravo to this groomer for loving the animals enough to take care of them.

Shaved a beautifully kept rough collie for no reason. Any animal professional understands that a bearded collie cannot be shaven down as they cannot regulate body temp. A good groomer would have refused to groom if they felt they had to shave down a dog that regularly cannot be shaven and referred to a VET. Horrible. And cruel. Do not take your dog here, if you care about their wellbeing.

Only take your pet there if you want to incur a bunch of vet bills afterwards. Our dog had to be treated for injuries consistent with being excessively choked. Of course Evansville Pet denied causing any injury and didn't seem to care. If you love your pet, stay away and tell everyone you know to stay away from there also!
