Cheyenne was the one who welcomed me in and was beyond friendly. I explained to her that I had The Beast from 7 years ago and that he needed his neck sewn up and he needed to be stuffed. Don took care of sewing the neck and he did an amazing job. Then it was time for stuffing and Don was super friendly. These two made the experience awesome.Thanks a bunch!

This Build-A-Bear location is amazing. The workers ALWAYS try their best to make everyone have an amazing experience. I come here all the time with my kids. These bad reviews are because people don’t understand how to wait in a line. You can’t just walk up and get stuffed when there’s a line of children behind you. You can’t wait on the other side of the machine. From what I’ve seen, the parents have the most issues with behaving, not the children. (Not tending to their children whatsoever) The worker’s job is to make your experience fun, not to boss you around. Rules are in place for a reason. If you can’t follow them, don’t go.

We had a birthday party today for our 3 year old & loved our experience. All of the staff were super friendly and fun. Our party host, Bella, was AMAZING! She was so kind and patient with the little ones! I was blown away by how fun & smoothly she made the party flow. Thank you so much Miss. Bella!

I took my sister and she was so excited for the Christmas Stitch! Sadly they didn't have anymore in stock but the staff offered to let her have the display and take apart the stitching so she could put a new heart and sound in! Staff was so sweet and helpful!

Bee did such an amazing job interacting with the kiddos, some people may think she was over the top but her personality and the way she interacted with not only the kids but the adults was awesome.

We had no idea what to expect from a birthday party on a busy day. Bella and the Build a Bear staff did an absolutely amazing job!!!! Our daughter had so much fun. Bella was so fun and made the whole event extremely special. This is by far one of her best birthday parties ever. Bella came back from college to work on the weekend, she is great at her job. Thanks Build A Bear and Thank you Bella for such a great experience!

I love taking my grandchildren here and putting my voice in the paw. Hopefully they can cherish it forever. That item is a little pricey among other things. I spent $130 for 3 bears and they were the lower prices. Of course each one got clothes. My niece got me one with my Mom's voice. 😍

I LOVED being helped by the asst manager Jenny, they were very kind and really spent their time assuring we got what the goodies we needed for our bears. They also helped me with a cow friend that frequently sells out ive been seeking out. The other staff were also kind, helpful, and we just just felt really welcome in the store. Plus my friend turned out so cute!

We arrived 25 min to close and thought we had enough time to get 2 simple bears and check out. They would not allow is to even enter the store. We left with 2 very upset toddlers. I certainly was not planning to stay past closing time, but why have hours posted if you wont even allow people in store well before closing time? I could have easily explained to my 3yr old that we could pick out an outfit for the bear they already had and it would have saved many tears.

Wonderful experience. My daughter loved getting her first build a bear. I'll definitely do it again one day. She loved it and the employee that helped her was very friendly. My daughter loves her bear. Great place for kids! Just a little pricey FYI the birthday bear is the cheapest one is what we got!

Visited for my youngest son's birthday. We always have a good time bringing our little furry friends to life! He got his "birthday bear". The employee who helped us was more than enthusiastic and brought him many smiles throughout the experience!

Oh the girls that work there were awesome! Made me want to be a kid! My granddaughters were thrilled! Only wish they had more help. One girl was working all by her self for at least 45 minutes with a crowd of people waiting.

Today I drove 2 hours to get to this build a bear with my little cousins. I don’t get to see them very often, so I wanted to surprise them by getting the baby Yoda build a bear. Online the store says it closes at 7pm. We arrived at 6:20 pm to see the gates closed & a printed typed up paper taped to the glass that stated In fine print under their new hours that they close their line one hour to 30 minutes before the time they actually close. I proceeded to explain to the worker how long it had taken us to get there and how excited they were. (I even offered to order them online so we did not have to go into the store.) The worker told us that would not work and there was nothing she could do. Needless to say my cousins were heart broken. A wasted 4 hour trip. I understand we are in a pandemic, all I as is that you update your store hours online so this does not happen to anyone else. (I also don’t think corporate Build a Bear would appreciate you turning away customers 40 minutes before actual closing time)

So disappointed in the customer service. I get that were still all battling covid and lazy people who do not wish to work but its gone to far. I drove an hour to the Eastland mall since I live out of town 2 days in a row an they were closed.. The worst part is I called the second time an they were open so I drove out there but by the time I got there they closed early.. they had THREE workers in there to run that tiny store. They tried to say they were short staffed but thats just laziness I get it was also a Friday but the mall wasn't even that packed.. no one wants to work anymore.. wont waste my time an money there anymore. This has been a yearly tradition. Thanks build a bear for breaking my kids hearts. They were so excited for that. We will be finding better stores to spend our money.

My son is turning 2 in just under 2 weeks so we visited today and although he was shy, had a blast! I remember coming here whenever I was 8 years old and bringing him in is just such a neat experience. Will definitely be coming back!

My friend and I took our boys here to fill up sharks they received for their second birthdays. Katie did a fantastic job with the boys. She was so patient and friendly with them. She made the whole thing a real experience for them and it was awesome!

Sadly Build a bear has decided to become political and change things so I have to be weary of taking my children into the store.I will no longer support the Eastland mall build a bear. :(

Me and my gf go here every Friday to purchase ourselves some bears. We're two big kids. Everytime we go it's always a great experience. Just yesterday I finally got my hands on Grogu(baby yoda) and my gf got an army bear. Our collection is continuing to grow. I've got a Rey bear, a harry potter bear, a red raptor, Olaf, stitch, light fury and we just ordered a purple t rex and fuzzy bunny with the $50 worth of gift cards we got for $25 on our last visit which also make great gifts. The staff is always great and friendly we just ran into Lauren a new girl we haven't met before on our last visits yesterday. As long as the store continues be a great experience well continue to shop there. Our list of bears we plan on adding to our collection continues to grow and mother's day is coming up soon which will mean yet another visit lol. We both highly recommend it

I purchased 2 Baby Yoda's with 5 sound buttons and 2 personalized voice buttons. My total was over $125. Upon receiving the stuffed Today's one had been stitched on the seam on the head. There is a thick brown stitch sticking out on the green head. I told the associate that I was not happy with it and was told that it was their procedure and they couldn't make me another one without scraping the one I had out because of Covid. I agreed to take the one that was made, but told the associate that I was not happy about it. I feel that the Baby Yoda should have been changed immediately be for stuffing it and selling it to me. Not a Happy shopper.

Day 2 of speaking with someone over a dilemma I am having and both ladies came off really rude. I get it I am in retail my self but you should really watch your tone when speaking to customers considering FIRST IMPRESSIONS are everything. I have a newborn (could have been a long life customer ) but honestly after day 2 of trying to figure things out and with that attitude completely lost ALL interest in ever being loyal here which is disappointing since I was so excited to bring my newborn here to start her "bear family" . And of course common sense people talk about their experiences to people and this town is not so big.

We were visiting the Build A Bear Workshop in Evansville, IN, and a worker (not sure if she was management or not), Katie, was very rude and short with our entire group (3 adults and 4 kids). She kept instructing us on where to stand (while we were shopping for outfits), and when we got in line to check out, she pulled the people behind us first. I will not be back to this location.

We understand going to the store on Saturday will be busy, but the store management should understand that too...... having only ONE stuffing station open while the line gets longer and longer was ridiculous. The employees seemed to not sense customer service at all or how shopping with little ones can present challenges of their own as wait time can affect dispositions.
