Doc has been our family vet since I was a child. I now have a toy poodle, Sammy, and I don’t want anyone else looking after him. I took Sammy previously to a vet, strictly out of convenience, only for them to diagnose Sammy with a “puppy cough that he will grow out of”. That diagnosis ended with us at the ER vet in Evansville with Pneumonia. That was my lesson to never take Sammy there again and to drive to Doc!!! I drive 45min to see him! He is quick, to the point, and will help your pet feel better asap!

I needed emergency care for my dog. I have seen Doc for years but since his move have stayed in town. He couldn't be seen in town due to the vet not coming in that day. I called Hometown and they said bring him now. My dog was kept overnight and treated with care and compassion. So thankful they were there when I needed immediate treatment for my baby.

My puppy was very sick and they got her in quickly and took care of her with love and tenderness. They were very thorough in their exam of her and we are very grateful for them all. Definitely will be bringing my puppy back to them for future visits.

Doc and his staff are amazing. The office is amazingly clean and the scheduling is well balanced so I’ve never had to wait. My fur babies feel comfortable there and that’s important to me.

I brought my puppy in last week to be seen. Just for your vet to tell my my puppy was very sick. Obviously i knew she was sick and thats why i sought your help. This was one of the fastest vet visits have ever experienced. Your vet practically did the bare minimum because you felt as though she was already too far gone. Did no blood work or x rays. I had to watch my puppy slowly decline and then pass over to heaven this morning. I will never bring another animal here.

We had an emergency with one of our furbabies, our regular vet was unavailable for a few days and suggested us to Dr. Phillips. He was able to squeeze our boy Dexter into the schedule the same day. Dexter likes him so much that we will definitely be going back there. Despite being short handed they still went above and beyond to get Dex the care he needed. I liked that Dr. Phillips done everything right there in the room with us to see and let us assist him. Definitely makes my heart feel better to find Vet our dog truly trusted and loves and talks to the humans with great respect. ♥️Definitely better than a 5star review!!!

Doc Phillips and all of his assistants are very educated, professional, and friendly. It is a great concern that when we take our fur babies to be taken care of that we would take them to someone who we can trust. Doc Phillips is that man!!! Everyone there is extremely compassionate about everyone's pets needs. I always walk away from there knowing that our babies issues we're taking care of properly. The atmosphere there is awesome to! They have a beautiful office! Plenty of parking space outside as well. I cannot say enough good things about Hometown Veterinary!! It is well worth our half-hour drive to take our fur babies somewhere where we know they are safe!!God bless you Doc, your sweet, caring staff, and that precious wife of yours!!😊💜

I will never step foot in there ever again. Had a past bad experience with the vet when he was in my town. He should have known what was wrong with my dog than saying he may need put down. After going to another vet all he had was a bad earache. He looked in his ears 3x and said he didn't know why he has stroke like symptoms and a bad earache can mimic that. One look by the other vet and he knew and had to do drops in the ears. He completely recovered. I pray he's changed. If in doubt please get a second opinion because he was very wrong. I have had 4 more yrs with my pal and counting. His Assistant at the desk was very professional and friendly and waz shocked when I walked out but she had no idea. As soon as I figured whom he was.

I just moved back into the area and took my dog to hometown veterinary, and we had the best experience. The vet tech was able to keep my dog calm for the entire process and the vet was very attentive and took great care of my pup!

Bill has always given my dogs the best of care. When other vets would give up trying to find the cause of problems, he never did. And if he couldn’t help them, he recommended who could. I have always trusted his judgement.
