Best groomer that we have used. Been there 6 times for a once a year groom on our domestic long hair Sid. Wonderful staff. First or second time there they found a few fleas on our cat. They called and let us know. They did a flea dip and didn't charge. I don't know if they were supposed to or not but they didn't. Also they didn't get angry in the slightest bit about our cat bringing in a flea or two which I was thankful for. Just a great place with great prices and wonderful staff. Thanks Dapper.

While I can't speak for the friendless of everyone I CAN say Monica is super friendly. All of them actually care for the animals they groom. Being my first time there I wanted to wait and watch while kitty was being groomed. Monica was good to my kitty and everyone was good to the animals they were grooming. They seem experienced, also. I now feel confident in leaving my kitty there to be groomed without me being there. Your pet will not be mistreated and will come home looking great.

Brought my long-haired and nervous Himalayan cat in for her second grooming ever, VERY satisfied with the cut and happy that they treated my princess so well! The first place said they almost couldn't handle her 'temper' but these fine people took good care of her! Fair pricing too and willing to work with me on the pick up time. Will be scheduling another grooming, once I remember during open hours.;)

Wow! Our Frenchie would absolutely not let us trim his nails. He would squirm, flail and go wild anytime we tried to trim them. We didn’t go to any groomer because we thought it was a lost cause. Finally we decided to check out Dapper Dog to see what they could do. First off they were very welcoming and kind when we entered the building, first impressions are important. Secondly, they trimmed Gunners nails in a matter of minutes! My wife and I were both blown away! The employees at Dapper Dog are kind, professional and you can tell they truly care about other people’s pets. I highly recommend them.

We keep the groomers at Dapper Dog pretty busy with our three dogs. They always come home happy, clean, and pretty! Due to the current labor shortage, they are having difficulty finding qualified groomers to join their team so appointment lead times are running 4 - 6 weeks. If you’re a groomer, this is the place to apply!

I have been coming to Dapper Dog and Fancy Feline since they opened....and known Bessie and Chris even longer! I have a small terrier who has his share of issues! Chris is the only groomer he will let touch him! All of the gals here are loving...and kind to the pets. They understand that our pets are like our children, each with their own personality...and they work with the individual needs of the animal! Not to mention, the grooming they do is fabulous!! My dog is 100% pure mutt...and I've had people across the US tell me he looks like a million bucks! And then they ask me where do I get him groomed??? I say, Dapper Dog and Fancy Feline in Elkhart IN!!!

If I could give them no stars I would. I was just there. My daughter has her labradoodle groomed there and said I could stop in with my very old, deaf, blind dog to get her nails trimmed. First of all, I was there at 9:30 a.m. and it was very hot. When I walked in a person grooming a large, overweight yellow lab, that was already distressed, crying, and moving around, walked away from her table to come to the desk. The dog fell off the table and was hanging by its neck! I had to scream that the dog was hanging itself! She grabbed my small dog and ran over and lifted it back ion the table. She then had the other person who was grooming a large dog walk away from her table! She came and cut the nails of my dog while the other person was leaning on the lab so it wouldn’t fall off. But now a second large dog was unattended on a table. A third large, old dog was tied to another table on the floor. It was hot and distressed. I asked when I should bring my dog back to try and get the nails shorter and she said that it didn’t matter. I will be calling the owner. Also will be calling my vet to make sure that they don’t refer to this place. I’m pretty sure rule #1 in dog grooming is that you don’t leave a pet unattended when it’s tied to a table!

Last year they did a wonderful job on my brothers dog so I took my dog in . This year they did a terrible job on my brothers dog only half done no clipper work or finishing touches . Perhaps they are over booking to make up for being shut down ! Very dissatisfied ! They made a good correction on the first dog and did a great job on my dog ! Two happy Newfoundlands and their owners .

I give this place 4-1/2 stars. Cat and dog are always cut to instructions and employees are nice and friendly. The reason I did not give it a 5 Star is because I don't know if they take animals outside to the restroom and customer engaugement is a little unprofessional.
