Everytime l go to buy Pet Pride wet can food in a variety box they just have 1 box or none l would like to buy more than 1 box but it's usually not on the shelf or have none my dog eats that brand🤔

First time visiting this store.Walking in it felt like dollar general.It was old, dirty and employees constantly complained about their jobs.The meat department was questionable of whether it was safe to eat or not. The coolers are old!!!The deli wasn't pleasant to be ordering from.The entire store needs to be torn down and a new one built. It's not a store I will visit again.

Well, I wasn't able to experience the good deals everyone talks about here at Jay C. Here's the situation, dropped my aging mother at front doors then parked and tried to enter store but was rudely approached by what seemed a red headed sasquatch asking me if I were an employee? (I was clearly in a high visibility yellow shirt with big identification of my work/name, factory with all the PPE still on.) I said no and before I could say anything else Sasquatch blurts out, "We're closed"! & manually closes automated doors. I spoke up & said I'm with my mother who just walked in and I received another, "We're closed "!😂 It gets better, upon Mother returning to van she said they were talking about the man in yellow taking pictures of the store.... So here I am and there's my experience. 《Note: I can understand not letting me in but being rude,not good.》P.S. I should've said, "Yes, I work here unfortunately. :(☆☆I'm sure it's a decent store, I'll return soon. Cheers all!

My local grocery. If you need help with something, they're pretty good about it. If you missed a sale and didn't realize until you looked at the receipt, then they will correct it. If you take something home and it's open (or whatever the case may be) they won't fuss about it, they'll just replace it or give you a refund. Produce is always fresh. Plenty of items on sale, at any given time. Several different ways to shop. There's also a little flower boutique inside.

Ok , I have eaten chicken many times and many different places. Hands down, the best chicken I have ever eaten. I drive 45 minutes just to get it. If you have never had this chicken, you are missing out. Unfortunately I ate it before I took a picture. So so good

This is an ok store to get your groceries if your in a hurry. This store is a lot smaller then other grocery stores so they don't have as much to offer but it is still a good little grocery store I recommend it.

I absolutely hate this store !!!! They have one of the worst chicken cooks ever in the fat guy who works back there. They never have anything in stock because all the local hogs come and buy it up. Everything are way overpriced . The staff are all rude and mostly young people who are clueless and lazy. Store are a perfect example of the dirty town it's in. I hope this store goes out of business !!!!!

I absolutely hate this store ! Everything are overpriced and the staff are lazy, rude and incompetent ! Never can get chicken because they always close early because of the lazy cook and when you can get it they never have what you want because of all the gluttons of the podunk town get it all. I so wish another chain would come into town and put them out of business ! Lucky I can only give 1 star and not zero.

Overall very good but some things are a little pricey but others aren't so it kinda evens itself out at the end but EVERYTHING should be evenly priced with other stores around. They do OFFER the BEST MOUTH WATERING🤤🤤🤤🤤 FRIED🍗 CHICKEN & EVEN CHICKEN MEALS LIKE A 4..8..or 12 PIECE MEAL w/ sides & rolls for a very good deal!! A 4 piece is $4.99 & an 8piece is $8.99 but if you just get like 2legs & a thigh its almost $6 so Defintley go with the 4..8..or 12 piece BC of the deal & price!! You WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED & WILL ONLY WANT THEIR FRIED 🍗 CHICKEN & NOBODYS ELSEWHERE FROM NOW ON..LOL 😂🤣😂.... The RACK OF BBQ RIBS ARE ALSO A VERY GOOD CHOICE AS WELL & ALL ABOVE ITS IN THEIR BAKERY IN THE BACK. OVERALL NOT BAD FOR JAYC FOOD STORE IN EDINBURGH, IN. THATS FOR SURE!!

They have hired a lot of young teens that aren't doing there jobs. Baggers start to bag then get talking and customers end up bagging themselves to get done. The help talks to much and on phones. Never see manager out of office. How can you know how your store is doing or being ran if never helping in floor themselves.

11/20/21= went back to this store just to see if it was any better. Not at all better. This store has the absolute WORST customer service of any store i've been to. Needed to send daughter birthday money. Woman said she was off the clock, and the only other person was unloading a truck. Be prepared for a 15-20 minute wait for ANYTHING from customer service. I will NEVER shop there again! 5 stars to the negative!

I’ve been a resident for five years and absolutely love this store. Once you have been going in here for so long the employees start calling you by name, even the kids bagging are so sweet but hey that’s manners for you. Thank you to all who make it so please t to be here and shop, it’s always clean the carts are always stocked and I can always fined what I need.

Just love this store! The employees are always so helpful! Actually during the winter one of the employees was out getting carts to bring in, and I got stuck trying to leave the parking lot cause it had snowed so much so fast, and bless his heart.....he pushed my car and got me to a point that as long as I didn't stop I would be fine! If it wasn't for him I would have been screwed cause I was alone and my phone had just died!

Friendly cashiers and helpful employees. Lots of good sales that are well displayed. Check out their store ad online. Download and use their app to save even more money. Some signs displayed for items low in quantity due to high demand and may limit quantity you can purchase. Not necessarily a bad thing since more people will have the opportunity to purchase those items that way. With COVID pandemic, we understand items shortages. Store is clean and organized. Announcements reminds employees to wash hands often. They have a deli and their fried chicken is popular and tasty. Beautiful flowers, gifts, gift cards and greeting cards are available for purchase. Lots of parking and shopping carts/baskets available. They bag groceries for you.

Not your typical Kroger store. It has improved over the year. Produce looked very fresh. The aisles were clean and free of skids. The registers were empty so it was a quick checkout.

Great prices but limited selection. I wanted to patronize a Mom&Pop store as an antidote to Walmart. The store had everything I needed, with excellent prices on Coke products the day I shopped. At a store like this, one sacrifices a certain variety of choices for lots of generic options, with the occasional brand-name bargain. The biggest payoff is that you are helping a locally-owned establishment fend off the big boys.

Went to Jay C today same as I have done for better side of 20 years. The man at the register was very unfriendly. And stated that the deal they had on Pepsi was limited to 10 per purchase. So since my wife was with me and we were purchasing soda pop for two households we had 20 pops so we separated the pops into 2 carts and was getting ready to pay for our items when the cashier ran and got a manager that came back and said that we could not purchase the pop. I will never shop at this location again!

TERRIBLE management. Employees are NEVER respected. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of my way to another store than to see the mistreatment of this store's employees. It is the ONLY grocery store in Edinburgh and when it is busy, management HIDES in their office and do not help bagging. They are constantly abusing and overworking the most valued employees. I worked here for a 4-5 months and the management is the only reason I quit this job. I don't know why corporate hasn't fired the store manager and replaced him, but I DO NOT suggest this store to ANYONE. But, because it is the only grocery store in Edinburgh, if and when you do shop here, TREAT THE EMPLOYEES WITH RESPECT BECAUSE GOD KNOWS THE MANAGERS DON'T.

I love this store. The employees go out of their way to help you, even just to say "hello, how're you doing!". The store is clean and the prices are right in line with Kroger, since they are owned by Kroger.

This place can be a Godsend for local people in a pinch needing a ingredients and/or necessities and don't want to, aren't able to, or don't have the time to drive out of town to a larger store out of town a bit.This store is also under the Kroger brand, so you can use your Kroger card here to get the same e-coupons you would on the Kroger app. You can also expect the same sale and discount campaigns ran throughout the parent company Kroger's stores, i.e.-- if you see something in a Kroger ad that is on sale and you want to buy, it will be on sale here (if they stock it).HOWEVER, if something at Jay-C is not on sale but you need it anyhow, expect to pay a VERY high markup.Lastly, the selection here leaves something to be desired and they don't stock any "bulk" units of any product, so you also can't save a buck in that such a manner.All in all, it's a great place for someone who is living/staying there and needs a few necessities. And, it is also a great place for locals to have access to Kroger's ad campaigns without having to drive out of town. But, if you can do without an item you seek for a few days until you can make it to a larger, cheaper store that has a wider selection of product as well as unit sizes-- I recommend you wait.

Very nice community grocery store. Have pretty much everything a bigger grocery store carries but with the added touch of friendly neighborhood staff. Love the extra personal feeling you get when shopping there.

This place is for convenience only. The produce is horrible and the prices are worse. I can hardly ever get a rotisserie chicken in the deli because either they are out or don't have them ready at dinner time. What they don't advertise is if they are out of those fab chickens you can get a rain check at the customer service counter!!!! Recently a so called manager named Craig I believe that is his name stepped away from the customer service counter after I told him I wanted a rain check. He snuck off to the deli rather than call infront of me to double checked me to see if I was lying. Ooops Craig I was right behind you and watched and heard the entire conversation. He saw me when he turned around .. busted! As if he thought I would steal his stupid chicken. I had asked one of the gals at the deli counter when did they run out. She came in at 5 and they had not started making them. Nice work!!! Craig said he needed to have the info for his report. I said well be sure to include on your so called report chickens werent even started at 5.. also known as dinner time. What a joke. I go to this store only when I am in a pinch

Considering this is the only grocery store in Edinburgh it's not bad, but they frequently are running low or are completely out of stock of numerous items. But the staff all seems friendly and helpful.

I stopped in to pick up some Black forest ham from the Deli. I was there at 8:40 and was told they had already cleaned the slicer so they could not slice any ham for us.this is an hour and 20 minutes before they close . This is not good customer service
