The visit went well enough however the cashier had her mask down and there was a sign on the door that mask were required in the store. Also there were carts and racks with product that blocked the shelves of merchandise so you could not shop for anything behind the racks and made it difficult to get around.Update:. A very good place to run in and get out fairly quickly. Have a good variety of products to meet all your needs. The manager was nice and curtious and when he saw a line forming at checkout he opened another lane to get ppl in and out. A very nice small town store but then again Dollar General is famous for opening up in small town communities which bolsters the economy in that community.

Wouldn't even give them one star...today like a bunch of ppl, I tried to go in an shop, but the doors are locked an all lights r on.dont waste yr time going.there is a car out front which leads me to believe sum1 is in there and the fact that when I called sum1 hung up on me an Wouldn't answer the phone after that.u need to do way better dollar store.

The location is always clean however they seem to always be short staffed. The staff they do have is always very friendly and helpful but they seem stressed. The aisles are always crammed full of merchandise needing to be unpacked and stocked however the staff must run to the register too often to have the time to merchandise. The cramped aisles make using a cart difficult at times especially during busy hours. Overall great staff and prices but managment needs to hire more employees on the floor to keep up with merchandising demands.

Save alot of money on clearance clothing . Really friendly employees. Sale items were easy to find. Not sure whats happened but it's getting really tiring when hours say 8- 11 to drive all the way there and see they are closed. Short on employees well store managers you have jobs and it isnt to close early every night!!!!! Update: it's a little pathetic that they close the store because their air conditioning is out. Thousands of people work without air, but not this pampered bunch.🤬 starting to think they just look for reasons to close.

I shop here often. Only complaint I have is the long lines to check out. It's the busiest place around Edinburgh. Even though the lines are long, the cashier's are quick and always friendly. It's most definitely a big part of our small community since we only have a couple options for essentials down here

Well---this store not doing too well. Employees have never respected the "mask" rules. Some do not wear at all and almost all the rest cover only their mouth with nose exposed. Everyone knows the mouth AND nose must not be exposed. They are playing a dangerous game. I won't be going back; any of my family either. They have nearly no help- the store is a complete mess. Everything thrown everywhere. Of course only one or two employees can't possibly keep up. It used to be a clean place. It's a diseaster.

Very good coupons but there is never any help there. Always new people that aren't of much help and usually a very long line with only one lane because of lack of help. You can also get the same exact (sometimes better coupons) in the Sunday paper or most of the others stores just like the dollar store app for coupons.

Where everything is GENERALLY a dollar. Is a place where you can find some good decent deals. They have solar walkway lights for a buck and up. They accept EBT and they usually aren't very busy when you need to stop in and grab something real quick. Multiple locations around town. We find ourselves there alot.

Pretty fast line, helpful staff, I'm in and out all the time. Not the cleanest place, but does have a variety of things you wouldn't think of them having. From baby clothes, to Bologna, to laundry soap, there's something for everyone!!!

Probably the most helpful and friendliest workers I've met in any DG store anywhere ! But... I've never seen a floor so messed up with sticky black stuff oozing from every tile grout. Adhesive, dirt and mold? This really needs addressed ASAP. Other than that, great workers.

Horrible is not even a good word to describe this store. Poorly staffed with a manager who is just awful. I know what he drives and will not go in to the store if I see his vehicle. Therefore forcing me to drive elsewhere. He is absolutely wretched to his customers and worse to his employees. Anyone who challenges him, he puts a no trespass order on. Anyone who quits he talks horribly about to EVERYONE, including customers, and slanders their name. He makes up lies ad to why that got 'fired' when in truth, they quit because he is horrible. The store always has merchandise spread throughout that needs stocked and that which is stocked is in disorder and falling on the floor. Which is also disgusting.

Would shop there all the time for one thing or another. But know we go 3 miles out of our way to hope. The one in front of Heritage heights never have much of anything left shelves are always empty. Some of the employees are rude. I ran the PX at Atterburgh and shelf's were always stock and employees friendly.

The worker was very friendly but looked stressed need to hire more people. The shelves were empty an carts in aisle full of merchandise to be put away making some areas alittle congested an hard to get through.

Always friendly and helpful. The be manager is always smiling and helps me find things I need. Brandon is very helpful and helps me to the car if I ask bc my back. The ladies also help in finding what I need.Thank to all of the employees bc you ROCK!!

I've never been treated so rudely by a store manager. Store hours are posted incorrectly on this web site. Store manager told me "I don't care what it says online we close at 10, get what you need and get out" HOW RUDE!!!!🙁😕 A LITTLE TIP FOR MANAGER "CUSTOMER SERVICE"

Closed 20 minutes early when sign on the door stated closing at 5pm. Claimed they had 30 customers in the store when there were 3 vehicles and no line inside. Refused to give the corporate phone number and names of employees on duty. Threatened to call the cops on those who needed to go inside. Very rude and not going back here.

This is a typical DG store. I like the Dollar General stores more than I do Walmarts. It's smaller than Walmart & I don't have to walk a half a mile to get milk or creamer. The prices are similar. I would recommend that people shop here. The Madison DG would NOT honor clearance prices. I receive text alerts & emails for sales. I spent over 2 hours in the Madison DG only to not buy a thing. The mgr told me that she didn't know anything about a clearance sale. I tried to show her the ad I received plus the ad on DG site. She didn't care & didn't contact anyone over her head. She told me she was the mgr & she didn't know of the clearance sale. So if she doesn't know about it then it's not real or true. So far the people I have contacted don't plan on resolving the issue. If you have a sale flyer from the DG website make sure that they will honor it.

Terribly run store. July 22, 2017 Check out line was from front of store to the back. One new employee was left by himself (was doing the best he could) while Ashley( I assume was in charge) sat in the office. He called her to help with a transaction and when she finally got it done instead of opening a register, she just walked around carrying a clip board doing nothing. She should be fired immediately.

I used to shop here daily. But after being called a liar by the assistant manager, I will be taking my business elsewhere! She said they didn't sell 6 pack Snapple after I've been buying 6 packs there for months!! I was charged over 7 dollars for a 6 pack because she rang them up individually. When the tag on the shelf said 4.95 for a 6 pack.

Dont waste your time, go to CVS, or to the other dollar general a couple miles down the road on 31. These people are rude and start harassing you over masks, I will pretend as if the masks actually work but however it's how they go about it, they act like their life is on the line over it, I've seen their own employees not wear masks when ive walked in there, along with other customers. Go to the other dollar general, cvs, or to jayc, and you have to deal with the sheep employees acting like complete idiots. It's a mandate, not a law. Learn the difference in a law vs a mnadate.
