Do not go at 11 am. Credit or debit cards don't work and creates long lines for those who want to pay cash. Also, prices are getting ridiculous. It like shopping at a corner store

They had a lot of things on sale and the staff was nice but apparently whoever runs the store is not very interested in snow removal the walkway wasn't shoveled. At all. And the parking lot was atrocious most people didn't even Park in it because you were guaranteed to get stuck. It definitely seems like nobody cared.

This store cheats customers out of their money from $ 0.01 - $ 1.00 depends on product, some items rings up the wrong price at times. I made it know to the cashier her response was my supervisor is busy and I don’t want to bother him. She said I can get another one, in so many words hurry up I’m not going to correct the issue the proper way. Sticker prices on the shelf should match up with what is in computer system. Please correct this issue to many customers are complaining about this and they are letting it slide, they should write reviews as well.

I visited the store today. The price on the shelf is 2 for 6. The employee name Erica said no. She will not give it to me. She is unprofessional with zero customer service. I can't believe multi million dollar company can hire or train their employees on basic customer service.

I don’t understand why they have a phone and they NEVER answer!!! I’ve called a few times with no answer. But when I go in the store the phone is always running but they don’t answer. And it’s not like the store always busy!

PSA because the store does not tell you before you come in and spend time shopping that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT LARGE BILLS. I came in and shopped, got to the register, the nice cashier rung me up and I presented a $100 bill she said she did not have change for a $32 order. I asked if she could ask someone for change, she called the manager, he came and was sooo nonchalant to the situation. He told me that I could either leave without getting my things or go get change. How inconvenient right? Put signs around, so that your customers know that before spending time shopping.

Good for things you need fast and don’t want to bother with a grocery store. Parking is horrible and for some reason the lot is always flooded. Shelves are cluttered but they are fairly organized. Staff not overall friendly so don’t expect much enthusiasm. Prices are average and checkout was fast.

Visited the store 12/5/20 and what a difference new management makes 👏The store was very well stocked the staff was very pleasant 😀. I like this store because when I drop off my clients @ Gary jet Center it's right behind the airport and I can get in and out unlike here in Chicago. So thank you for making the necessary changes 🙏KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👍 THANKYOU

They are having everyone wear a mask before they come in. If you don't have one you can't come in. That's a plus for slot of us thumbs up employees keep it up & the store is always clean

Not good they won.t give me more than two hand wipes containers.usely give me four.there was no sign there.didn t want to argue.plus the place needs cleaning and alot of sweeping and alot more to keep your store clean .so you won.t get sick when you come in this very very dirty family dollar store.

The prices are good but the last time I went the experience was horrible. I went in @930 pm. And the person mopping cursed and got made because I and 2 other customers walked in...are we supposed to float. Manager just shrugged and laughed it off...smh

The manager Calvin is a very rude person, with very poor customer service I believe I was treated with such disrespect because of the way me and my children were dressed we left in a hurry so we looked a mess I was treated like I had stolen something and I spend good $ at Family Dollar because of the deals but the staff at Dollar General a few blocks down have been nothing but nice in my whole 4 years of living in the Harbor area,One bad Apple spoils the bunchI WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME IN THIS STORE
