I can't speak highly enough about the staff and training my dog (Buddy) and I have both received at Landheim.My dog Buddy went from being a rescued stray who had aggressive tendencies towards other dogs, to being well-behaved, socialized, and even playful with others in roughly 12 weeks (5 private lessons and a 6-week Beginner Training group class).Zac and Ed are amazing trainers. The people behind the counter in the main shopping entrance area are always so incredibly friendly and welcoming, too!I'm looking forward to taking more classes with Buddy. 😊

Landheim has excellent trainers who are knowledgeable and absolutely love dogs. They do a great job of teaching how to train your dog by demonstrating. I have done the puppy, basic and intermediate training with my dog Misty and she is a much better dog because of it. Thank you!

I have been boarding my (anxious) dog here, when needed, for over a year now. I can not say enough great things about the people that work there. They are all so nice. My dog always is excited when he gets there and loves all the ladies at the desk. We love it so much, we drive 30+ minutes to board here.Just these last 2 weeks I did a board and train program for my dog as well. And Zach, one of the trainers just did so well. I was very impressed. My dog listened to him and was so much less anxious. (Even on the car ride home he wasn’t as anxious)Zach explained everything very well and throughly. He is so knowledgeable and I was sent home feeling (nervous that I would mess it up) but confident that I could keep it up. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We’ve been bringing our Rotties to Landheim for over 18 years!Landheim has always been awesome!! Their employees are always professional, kind, and efficient! Over the years, our 7 Rottweilers have attended puppy classes, basic obedience, agility, and one-on-one training. We’ve had all dogs boarded and groomed too! There have never been any concerns with the ability of the staff to care for our dogs!While being boarded, staff have always been really great with communication and care!! This really put our minds at ease when we were away on vacations!Our dogs are everything to us!! Having an honest and dependable facility to go to is SO very important!!!We HIGHLY recommend Landheim!! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

Highly recommend Ed for board and train. He was wonderful with my 2 yr old Frenchie. Even after just a few day’s of working with her, she is walking so much better on a leash and now follows basic commands. Everyone there treated us and our dog like family. You can really tell the staff there all love their doggie clients and they they are always so excited to see our pup. Thank you Ed and the rest of Landheim for taking such good care of our fur baby <3

I must say I have to give Landheim 5 stars. My dog Keough went for 3 weeks of doggy bootcamp and from check in to the 90 minute pick up session everyone was great. Check in everyone was very professional and put together. There wasn’t a crazy long wait and everything was orderly. Even though they have construction going the facility is well maintained and of course the first thing I look at…. CLEAN. Ed had been training my dog and I put all my trust in him and he didn’t let down. He contacted me with pupdates on how the training was going and answered any questions I had. He is excellent at his job. There was an incident even where my dog needed to see a vet because he had somehow gotten sores on his feet and they began to swell. I requested my dog be seen by a vet and they were on top of it immediately. They sent me records via email immediately when I requested them so I could add the records to his home file. At pickup ED did a phenomenal job at explaining everything to us from what he’s learned, to how he’s learned, and even allowin us to record the session due to me havin a terrible memory. Also having us practice. He put together the ECollar and pinch collar I feel he really went above and beyond for us. My puppy has a very noticeable change in the best way possible and I really can’t wait to be able to see how my dog progresses with me and in the future bring him back to be an even smarter boy! I hope he would get Ed again. Phenomenal job sir! I would recommend anyone!

My dog and I went through puppy kindergarten through advanced obedience and canine good citizen training/test. Puppy kindergarten sets your dog up to be confident around strangers and other dogs, and ready for more advanced training. It's amazing to see a group of dogs become so well behaved. A group of dogs that wouldn't sit still or listen well turned into a group of dogs that maintained a down/stay while all the handlers walked all over the arena. Trainers really know their stuff and it's fun while you're learning

Have been a Landheim customer for more than 12 years, and a relative of mine , who is a K-9 officer, has trained his two German Shepherds there. These people are the best, especially with GSDs. I also have my Shepherd groomed there, and Jesse is great!

We have a little pembroke welsh corgi. We were so impressed by the professionalism and the quality of training! Our trainer, Zac Galvan, was really good and was able to make our dog obey immediately. In a week of training, our dog was able to learn so much and obey basic commands like down, sit and place.We live in VA, but we highly recommend Landheim and Zac to anyone around the US for training.

Just completed the basic obedience class with my 4 year old golden retriever! The staff at Landheim was awesome! Zach, Josh, and Ed were all very patient, and great at explaining techniques/ commands to help our dogs understand. I went to work with leash pulling. Highly recommend! My dog loved going and we even got to meet some new friends!

Such a great facility. We took our puppy here for kindergarten and just that alone has helped with obedience at home. Our pup was attacked by another dog while on a walk and just her know sit and down has been a huge help in her recovery. We can’t wait to bring her back in for obedience training when she’s fully healed. They truly care about your dogs here and help you to understand your dog and how to properly train!!

My dog Bleu lovesssss coming here. Absolutely LOVES it. Here’s a video, and don’t mind the background, as they are currently remodeling but Landheim has the best trainers and cares deeply about Bleu.He’s always so happy when we drop him off, he literally cannot contain himself! And when we get him, he’s of course happy to see us too!I love that they give report cards. Bleu has also been trained there and it’s top notch training. I highly recommend Landheim.

Boarded my dog for the first time recently and chose Landheim. They are the only place I would trust to care for my pitbull based off their experience training larger breeds that are strong and caring for them. The girls who worked there seemed very nice and genuinely enjoyed caring for animals. Will definitely come here next time I have to be away my baby.

This is a great place to take your dogs for training. I rescued two out-of-control stray pitbulls, and the trainers are working wonders with the dogs and teaching me how to control them. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and are extremely experienced. I highly recommend this facility for training, boarding, etc. They are top-notch.Kip, Sarah,and Kevin are particularly good at their job(s).

*This review is on behalf of Bill and Chris Lesko*Our dog is a giant stubborn bull of a German Shepherd. Landheim and their staff have helped with Sarge’s training and care since day one. They’ve spent countless hours working with us and Sarge on his training. They are kind, extremely patient (recently spent over 2 hours with us to get Sarge’s nails trimmed) and more knowledgeable than anyone when it comes to working with Shepherds. As a retired Chicago police officer, I appreciate that Landheim is known for their expertise in training police dogs.We board Sarge at Landheim and they go above and beyond to make sure he is safe and cared for and that we can leave for trips with peace of mind knowing Sarge is in the absolute best hands possible. Kip and Zach deserve an extra shout out for how generous they are with their time and expertise.

These trainers are amazing. The work they put into the dogs, you can tell they care. Kip was very knowledgeable and has decades of experience. Kip was able to make strides with our pup in just 6 minutes. It was unbelievable, but I watched it happen. Huge kudos 👏 to Landheim k9!! We will definitley be using them for future classes to further train our dog.

Hi I bought one of my dogs there for a one hour training and Kip had him sitting in place during that short time. I’m not an e-collar fan, but I do feel they benefit a dog to keep them safe. I have one training credit left and will be coming back to bring one of the other dogs, so she can start her training. I’m very particular about our dogs, but I must say your trainer Kip was excellent and the other staff as well. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommend the one on one training! My husband and I brought our 6 month old puppy with resource guarding and aggression. We learned so much from Kip and Josh, and I am so grateful for their patience and knowledge! I have a better understanding of my puppy and how to adjust our other dog and kids to keep calm in our home. We have a long road ahead of us, but I know we can go back for another one on one in the future!

My husband & I brought our Saint Bernard to Landheim for basic obedience at 6 months old. Their training methods are just phenomenal! With a focus on training her people to properly train her, Maggie did very well. Time and effort plays a HUGE part in her success, and whether we prioritized that made a huge impact with each new skill she learned.Fast forward to her people poorly conditioning her “come” command and we found ourselves back at Landheim for a personal training session. Our trainer, Kip, was awesome! His instruction is direct and to the point; his explanations understandable; his plan for Maggie attainable with proof within minutes.Can’t wait to come back with better results and get into the intermediate class!

Amazing training. We have been through Basic Obedience and have about two weeks left on Advance 1. My dog is a Husky / AmStaff mix and he's very hyper but the guys and gals at Landheim are amazing. Dog training is 100 percent about conditioning the handler on working the dog. Your k9 already knows how to Dog. You need to learn how to speak his language.This isn't like going to PetSmart or getting lessons from Cesar Milan. This is no BS training that the military and police handlers get. You will learn to handle your dog correctly and fairly and at the end of it you will love your dog more.I will be definitely be progressing with my Pup once this class is over.
