Tasty food at a great price with quick service! The tenderloin is meaty and not gristly or greasy. The french fries are like steak fries but thinner, awesome! The loaded fries and ribs are out of this world.Wheelchair accessibility: There is not a ledge to get in the building.

This quaint little cafe is located in a small town in Indiana. I had a hamburger, and the taste and restore were terrific! The patties are formed and cooked where you can see (see the pictures for the sign). The fries were different - sliced long and thin. They could have been a little warmer but were still good. The only negative was the service, which was slow.

The breakfast offerings are standard and well prepared. The item I keep going back for is the country fried tenderloin. I've had it on several occasions and it's always perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. Paired with any of the potato offerings (the tots are a nice change from norms) and a side salad (to get you started quickly if you're really hungry) I don't think it can be beat. Prior to that discovery I tried a few other menu items and all were good but nothing compares to that tenderloin dinner, not to be confused with the giant tenderloin sandwich which is also btw a good choice. :)The prices are reasonable, often crowded, but easy to get quick seating in off peak hours. This place does a lot of business so expect a few minutes of waiting if you arrive at popular dining hours.We live a few miles away in Sullivan but it's a simple decision to make the drive when you know how great the food will be.

Was a very good first experience for me and my family, the food was delicious! Me and the wife got the wabash burger and I got loaded tots as my side phew it was all around a 10/10 meal! Only reason for 4 stars is the menu is a bit on the pricey side, but can't run a business being cheap I suppose! Nevertheless I would absolutely come back regardless of price it was 100% worth it!

I posted the hours in one of my pics because when it first opened they changed their hours a lot. I liked the chicken tenders and price was okay. It's the only restaurant in the town and they do a lot to support their community and those nearby. One of the cooks didn't know my hat was a Cubs hat, but I don't know that I can fault the station for that. Atmosphere is nice and appropriate for children. Haven't tried the breakfast food, but I hear it's pretty busy in the mornings.

I just had a delicious tenderloin & fries ..nice & clean ....really nice people.. highly recommended.. well came in to order something to go & so a young man brought a menu had he waited a second I already knew what I wanted ... Then he did everything but come back to my table.. was cleaning tables talking with customers.. so since no one is waiting on me I'm leaving...Walked out.. not sure I'll go back.. had to take 2 stars away.. consistency means a lot...

Was a very Nice place. I had the Wedensday Special, which is breaded tenderloin with gravy mash potatoes and corn other choice is green beans.The tenderloin was very good, not pounded flat so it was nice and juicy. The waitress was very friendly took care of us well.

Waited over an hour for takeout. Watched from the counter as orders were put in front of mine. Finally my order is up and they inform me they are out of mushrooms for my mushroom Swiss burger and my steak & cheese sandwich (which was also boxed up without cheese). The food was inedible, absolutely NO seasonings, the cheese was not melted, & the brown “gravy” was congealed) The only thing we could eat were the fries. I brought the food back inside to be discarded. The owner offered me my money back, but I declined. They need it to buy ingredients.

I read the reviews for breakfast and there were a lot of really great ones but evidently we should have gotten something different. My husband and I both got egg dishes and they were very watery and really didn't have a lot of flavor except for the fact that mine had jalapenos which helped. We might give it a second shot if we're in the area again but I'm just not so sure.

Country Fried Tenderloin was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and great taste. Perfect size too. Is now my go to place to get food when I am in the area. Too bad I don't live closer.

No flavor!! When my husband asked the waitress politely if they added any seasoning to the burger, or to his broccoli. The waitress stated “you haven’t been here before have you”. My husband replied with no. She then said we don’t add seasonings to our food because we cater to the older folks who don’t like seasonings. She said you have to ask for salt or pepper to be added. Then when we were checking out the Blonde lady that works there asked how things were. My husband told her that it was bland. She was very put off by receiving the feedback that my husband given her.

Stopped there for lunch today for first time. I love the decor of the place and how they play off the theme of trains even with the menu items.The place was reasonably clean uyou had to wait for them to clean your table. One table was needing cleaned when we wentin and didn't get cleaned until we were ready to leave. They don't have enough workers. The waitresses are not friendly. After they bring your order they don't come and check on you to see if you need anything. And i understand that they were busy but they need to higher more help to serve and clean.The tenderloins are big. You don't get a lot of onion rings and had grease running out.

It was mediocre at best. I loved the atmosphere! Our waiter was very friendly. But it was very hot outside and it was warm in the cafe. We ordered and it took quite some time for our food to arrive. While we waited our waiter never came over once to check on our drinks or us. In fact, other people came in, ordered, got their food, ate, paid and left before we ever got our ticket! When our food came it was fresh and hot. However, our onion rings were under cooked and doughy. My burger had blue cheese, which is hard to get right so I will give them the benefit of the doubt there. You must have good quality blue cheese because it will either taste like a delicious sharp cheese or a moldy, musty closet. Theirs was the latter. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I will go back one more time perhaps because I could sense the potential for something great there and they may have been having an off day. But if it's like that again it will be getting a thumbs down from me.
