Three stars because it’s convenient also because they are always closed for some reason and an employee told me they are paid like eight dollars an hour so that’s probably why they can’t find anybody, that’s not even close to a livable wage.

Place is a joke. If I could leave zero stars I would. There never open.** against my better judgement I decided to try going here again. 5 o’clock doors locked. All the lights are on but stores closed. This happens at minimum 3x a week. Can no one from corporate see this?

It is poor service when I was in there I asked the manager that if he can cash $100 bill and he told me yes as long as your percentage is higher than $50 in my bill was $54 and something and the lady at the cash register told me that she couldn't cash my $100 so now I'm going to tell everybody in dillsboro Indiana how bad poor service he runs the place the owls are always full of carts and you can't get down the store is dirty cluttered and he can't keep the doors open I think that we need a new manager somebody that's going to run it and do it a lot better the ones in Aurora and Lawrenceburg or so much better then the one in dillsboro Indiana it really sucks I'll never go back there and I only live I can see the dollar store from my house and I'll never go back to it because it is poor service

Accidentally hit the “pay with cash” button on the self checkout. Simple mistake. I got the employees attention and informed her I accidentally hit the “pay with cash”. Employee rolled her eyes at me (very dramatically) and informed me she would have to reset the entire system. I apologized (even though it isn’t my fault the machine doesn’t take cash and freezes up if you accidentally hit pay with cash). As the employee was gathering my stuff to ring out on her register, she made sure to inform me she was the only one there and was trying to get the store ready to close. It was like 9:15. I just told her never mind and left. I can go to Walmart or anywhere else and not be treated so poorly. Won’t be back.

Won’t ever go back to this dollar general, will happily drive the extra miles to another one! The employees here are rude and inappropriate, obviously I am here with my wife every time I ever went. Younger girl who works there likes to always make it a point to try and say something, me and my wife tried to be courteous until it gets to point you can tell she is acting more than courteous. Dude is rude and weird too. It’s really a shame and pathetic people can’t control themselves and act like a decent human. There is a lot more to life than lust!! There is nothing me and my wife can’t stand more than when you see people out in the world and they can’t make it anymore obvious they are checking you out, GROW UP!! Eventually we will all be old, if the Lord will’s, and definitely out of this world! Life is a vapour, Jesus Christ is all that matters!

It’ll be the last time me and my husband come here. Employees here are some weirdos. Went about five minutes ago caught em running there mouths about us for no reason. Stores always a mess, isles are blocked so you can’t look at things. Tonight, dudes setting out front in a lawn chair doing nothing. Had to walk past him to get ice, went to our truck, and the girl workin comes out, and they start talking bad. Odd behavior, maybe get up and work, instead of gossiping about customers. Must be nice to get paid to do nothing!!

Never open when at time posted to be open. Several people including myself sat outside the door for 15 past time of opening with being so close to the holidays you would think you would plan your schedule a little better. Now I understand everywhere is short handed. Maybe shorten your hours to accommodate and make sure to post them. Thanks

People shortage to work so the store will be closed when it supposed to be open to stock the shelves. I’ve heard other wise and the way the manager conducts himself. It speaks for itself. You will drive all the way up their to have doors open and a manager yelling we are CLOSED! Well excuse me! Mr. J but maybe treat others the way you want to be treated and they might do the same for you! Meaning stop quitting… the town need to look into this issue. To many people rely on a store to be open and friendly, not closed and hateful… please do better for the community!

The stores near us are always busy, and need help. The newest store seems to be better organized than this particular store, but they're handy and have most all the things we go in for.

This Dollar General could use some assistance from the two locations nearby! My favorite store and close but never stocked properly or organized down the road in Aurora and Lawrenceburg always neat orderly and basically wonderful! Dillsboro needs new management!

Small hometown store. Could be better organized. Lots of trash in parking lot makes bad impression. Inside of store is clean. Friendly helpful staff. 3.5 stars IMHO. 4 if they cleaned up parking lot.

Can get somethings for less money. They also have the dew general store. Can get more things when you buy Mountain dew. Just add the code you get from your resist. Also get coupons for so much off when you buy things on Saturday.
