I went for the special Olympics fishathon, and cannot fully describe the enjoyment I received from not only getting to partake in the festivities, but also from volunteering so as to play a small part in helping it to go down. It was a beautiful event hosted by VLK's owner Kenneth Licklider, or "Kenny" as everyone affectionately calls him. The event was arranged and organized by Rita, and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. Everything from the smiles on the faces of the competitors to the cleanliness of the grounds before and after speak to the love shared by those who got to partake and volunteer.

This place is awful. Tainting beautiful canine creatures that do not know any better. Aiding the enemy and sympathizing with the federal and local police state. It’s a shame what they subject these dogs to and how they teach them to behave.

Abetting animal abuse is shameful, but I've seen this place actively shield abusive owners from consequences, putting their companion in continued risk. An animal's trust is beautiful, and they're a disgrace.
