Very good shopping day today. The gal working the deli counter was so upbeat, so helpful, and such a wonderful person to talk to. It is amazing to me how one person's sunshine can light up your whole day. We lost our uncle late last night and the whole day today has been gray. Then all of a sudden the right person crosses your path and puts a smile on your face. So grateful for the little things. So grateful that my wife and I stop by Kroger today. So grateful that Kroger had just the right person there today. Seeing we had lost our smile and so willing to give us hers. Sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. Feeling very grateful!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out the Kroger Bakery has has gluten-free options in their bakery. They offer a moist rich gluten-free chocolate cake that was delicious! I am highly sensitive to gluten and I have not had any indication of cross contamination with their cakes.

My mother went shopping here and because she was bagging some chicken that was leaking in a lane to herself they accused her of stealing and called security on her! She wasn't stealing anything! Do not shop at this location!

I usually have good experience when I'm there but today at resistor 7 the cashier's lady was very rude to me her name was Debbie She slammed my changed on the counter and was rolling her eyes at me when I ask to use cash and card very bad service. I told her to get her manger case I did not apericate her costumer service will Not be going back to her resister any time soon. I've worked at Kroger ik how to treat costumers there so I'm very disappointed😡

I love their produce! First they use a lot of local products and it is always of the best quality! I would recommend their party trays! Made the day of they are fresh, tasty and attractive! There is also a great variety and lots of organic to choose from

Its not fair for people that dont have updated phones to use digital coupons. If u have the card that should be for digital also. All people need to save on items especially now days.Please change this!!!!!!

The staff is helpful. I recently had a problem with my pickup order and Dawn the manager was so helpful in helping the issue get resolved. It also helped me the learning curve new employees are under with the increase in pick-ups. Since COVID19 we are all trying to find our new normal.

This store is very clean and orderly. Not cluttered in the isles. Well stocked shelves and a good selection. I can always find everything on my list. The deli has good selection of chicken and plenty of presliced meat and cheese for great convenience. Specials are easy to find. I have a good shopping experience.

Used pickup service today. 9 basic grocery items were "substituted ". I carefully shopped late last night. I buy certain name brands for some products. Decatur Kroger likes to substitute their own brand for a name brand....not an equal name brand, but their cheaper brand. Several products were substituted with inferior cheaper brands and not discounted. I use pickup because I don't wish to inside shop. I was only informed of the changes at pickup time...in the rain. I could have refused....but needed the products for today.. This store needs better paid shoppers who know how to substitute.

Always shop at Kroger - love the selection and a shout out to cashier Amy and Justin who carried my groceries out in the rain! Pharmacy staff is awesome and always helpful today Ann helpful to contact doctor to renew my prescription! Thanks go out to great employees!

5:15pm — 6/11/2020I was caught off guard as I was approaching the carts just inside the entrance. An older women by the name of Amy, (Short bob/grey hair) Approached the Young woman sanitizing carts and Proceeded to say to her;“Are these ones done?! You can’t leave these here. They can’t be blocking this. (Pointing to the beverage display.) Before the young woman could even reply, Amy continued.. “You need to put them all the way over here!” (Pushing said carts to their designated area.) Rather than taking that opportunity to help a fellow coworker, and offer help/advice - Amy was rude and condescending. It is very disrespectful not only to this poor young women but to those who witnessed this. If this is how they are treating their coworkers/employees.. is this to be expected towards us (the customers)?? If you wouldn’t treat customers this way, then why would it be okay to treat ANYONE else in that manner?? This may be why Kroger’s turnover rate is as high as it is.

I went in to grab just a few items, a very nice customer let me go in front of her since she had a cart full. The ham salad sandwich spread is the best here. My youngest will only eat the Kroger brand.

Great Full Service supermarket. Friendly and courteous associates. Self check out lanes available (self check lanes may seem only option at times, if uncomfortable or uncertain using self check out, simply ask the associate operating self check lanes for assistance with using or ALWAYS a traditional check out available to customer, on request, someone will be called up to serve your needs. In store pharmacy available (check "Kroger Pharmacy" for hours of operation/holiday's as they differ from the store). Bakery, Floral, Deli, Meat, Seafood, Produce and Dairy Departments available. Customer Service desk opens daily at 8am for services provided (Notary Public Services are no longer available this location) most other services Lottery, Payroll and Government Check Cashing, Money Orders, Western Union, etc are available during specified times, policy and fees. Nice alternative to HUGE stores where personal attention and assistance have been almost eliminated. Full service Carry Out or Curb Side Pick up is available upon request.

Ever since Kroger bought Scott's, they have replaced our shopping carts with the throw away trash from other stores. Also, they don't stock things that are on sale, and make deals conditional on buying bulk (buy 21 and save)

Spent a very decent amount there for a 2 week grocery trip, 80% of what I got what expired or near expired, I had no idea I needed to be checking the expiration dates on all my food, chicken, cream cheese, you name it, so much money wasted :( clean store and great staff but what a bummer. Won’t be spending my money there again.

I like grocery shopping at Kroger. Anyone who shops here should make sure they have the free customer card. You can upload coupons to this card from your computer or mobile phone, this helps customers get even better deals.

I like Kroger better then Walmart definitely. But, the salads in the deli case aren't always tasty.....I usually pass on them. But they are better then Walmart there salads in their deli case always look old. Kroger is friendly and better service by far.

I took the kids to diabetic Decatur for the Christmas tree lighting and for the very first time tried Apple Cider. I couldn't remember what exactly it was called but when I went into Kroger I asked a man amd he said "oh I know what you're talking about! " he guided me around the store to help me find what I needed and explained to me how to make it. I was one happy camper and so were my kids! Thank you for your kindness!

In a way it's convenient to go late in the evening to shop, but there are no full service checkstands open then. All self service. If I would decide to do a major grocery run at 11pm, I would be checking and bagging my own groceries. Walmart does have it right there. Always at least one open.

The Friday night crew is really subpar. Lately the deli has been closing an hour and a half early. The self-checkout cashiers all need much more training.

All of their shopping carts are either really rusted, wheels have bad bearings in the chamber, carts are twisted and lopsided making it extremely hard to shop. Once the cart gets any weight in it, makes maneuvering through the isles and turning corners nearly impossible.
