Young man tried to assist me with a light bulb. He told me to go somewhere else because they did not have. I felt like he didnt want to help me. I ask for someone else to assist me and he was awesome. These young kids need more training on assisting customers. ACE is my go to placce for hardware and i would like to keep my business local.

I would love to give this 5 stars but right up front they are selling froggy lair which is small tank with two dwarf frogs in it. I've kept these for many years and the tanks they sell are extremely too small for one let alone 2 frogs. Outside of that the store is great.

A good store to get a variety of indoor and outdoor work tools. They also have a good selection of grills including Big Green Eggs. Everything fom piping, electrical switches and cleaning stuff.The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Don't go here if you're looking for reasonably priced items. I bought some salt here for $18 a 40lb bag. A store just down the street was selling it for $5 for a 50lb bag. Nice store but prices are way too high.

Its Sunday 2pm and a humid 85 degrees indoor. I need a 35/5 capacitor for my ac unit but no one can get me this part. This is a $20 repair or a $500 repair depending on who I visit on a sunday. The ACE website said it was available. Sure enough, those dudes had it in stock and an employee knew exactly which aisle. Thank you, worth the 30 minute drive to Decatur.

The store was bigger than most Aces. I had to travel from Fort Wayne to get a special key cut done but it was worth it. The staff was helpful and friendly.They are the closest place to me aside from Auburn that offers laser key cutting. Although I didnt see any lasers, they were still able to cut my key for me and it was only $15! They said they cannot guarantee a perfect cut, and it was a little rough in the ignition the first couple of times. After that the key turns over without issue.I would recommend the drive out here if you need a special kind of service like that done.

Yes, all in stock I was needing.Prices-WOW are they high. air filter 29.99, fuel filter 14.99, spark plug 5.99 x 2 = about 57.00 + tax. All made in china.Ebay 8.69+ tax, free shipping for kit containing ALL above items, also made in china. For approximately 20.00 have 2 kits coming, wait time- 5 days.Ace needs to look at their price structuring, they won't survive if more people shop wisely. Shopping local is not worth it.

Our pipes froze at our home. We were desperate to get it fixed asap! The guys at Ace helped us find and rent the best tool for the job. With there advice we got the pipes thawed just in time for us to get the kids for there weekend.
