Country critters is a phenomenal vet service. They answered all my questions about financials and the surgery, and the staff genuinely cares about the patients. I didn't feel like we were just a number. They even called to check up on my little biscuit the day after her surgery, it was very kind and I'm very glad that we have found a vet service that treats their patients like family.

We had a really great first experience this morning! It all started with Jody welcoming us when we came in, and then reaching over the counter to hug my toddler when he reached out to her. :-)Ashley was really helpful and welcoming when we got in the room, and was easy to talk to. Dr. Eddleman was also really personable when he came in, and took time to explain things and answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed.The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable was when they wanted to take my sweet girl to a different room away from me to examine her. She's very fearful of men, and even though Ashley was with Dr. Eddleman, that didn't sit well with me. I didn't want Koda to be afraid being in a room with all strangers and I'm nowhere in sight.Thankfully, Dr. Eddleman came up with a solution of having me stand in the room but on the opposite side so she could still see me and I could see her, but they could do the exam without complication. That worked really well for us, and I was thankful Dr. Eddleman suggested it.After we were done, while waiting on Ashley to come back into the room with our paperwork, I had to use the bathroom. I took my toddler and Koda with me. Once I got out, Ashley was there waiting with the bag, and offered to help me. She took Koda, and walked out with me to my car and put her in the backseat while I was putting my son in his carseat. I've NEVER seen a vet staff member do that! It really made a positive impression on me.Thank you all for making our visit comfortable, and easing our anxiety. We appreciate you!!!

Country Critters is the best vet office around. I’ve had animals my whole life and the previous vets and office staff at other vets have always made me or my mom feel unwelcome. I even had a previous vet at another office euthanize my cat before I was ready.I have had 1 dog euthanized here and they were so compassionate and made sure I was ready.Last week, as I was picking up medication for my dog, an office worker asked me when my dog’s next exam was. I was a little surprised and said not for 4 months…. Why? She told me about a new product they had for arthritis and booked an appt for my dog the next week. Had she not been friendly enough to give me that advice, my dog would still be on pain meds for arthritis. She’s now getting monthly injections for arthritis and I 100% believe this will extend her life. Thankful for this office!!

Very nice. Office staff are really helpful. The vets are so kind. The only thing i dont like is the automated text that requires a response or the appointment is cancelled. At first glance it just looks like a reminder, so if you dont click it you wont see the part that says, " respond with a Y if you will be here or we will cancel the appt." Not verbatim, but you know what i mean. That message comes 2 or 3 times! So even if you said Y the first time you have to keep saying it everytime or the appt gets cancelled. Maybe shorten the message and only send once? Idk, just a thought.

We are so thankful for the team at Country Critters. Jessica and Dr. Eddleman were both kind and patient with us and our anxious Doberman we recently rescued. They are very knowledgeable, and they gave us time to consider our options and ask any further questions. We were also about to have our Doberman neutered at a different and cheaper clinic, but since we felt so secure here with Dr. Eddleman and his staff, we have decided to have the surgery done here at Country Critters. We trust that our fur-babies are in good hands.

I love the friendly front desk staff. They are fun and friendly. They always make me feel like we're friends rather than another client to get checked in and out. The vet techs are patient and kind. We've lost two of our pets in the last month and I truly believe everyone of them grieved our kids with us. Everyone you encounter makes you feel like you are a part of their family. The vets are extremely busy but never make us feel rushed or a bother when we ask questions. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our pets well being and health.

I love everything about this office. It is clean. It is spacious. The staff is caring. The doctors are great. Everyone truly cares about our animals. I didn't like the idea of multiple doctors at first. However, seeing a different doctor ended up helping our oldest dog a great deal. The doctor had an idea of an additional supplement that turned out to greatly help. Highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone!

We r new to the area and had a great house call vet in Chicago. This was my pups first visit to an actual vet’s office and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The first thing Dr. Busick did was get on the floor with my golden retriever and love on him! I knew. right then he was in good hands! They were very busy, but took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Great experience!

We brought our dog there for management of his anxiety and for his medication after our previous vet left. They were made aware he has severe anxiety and does not do well without myself or husband there well in advance to the actually appointment. When we showed up they refused to let us go in with him even though we were told on the phone prior that we could. They locked him in a room by himself for 20+ minutes and then the vet refused to provide services until we muzzled him. The vet tech brought him back out to us without problems and stated he 'lunged' at the vet when she walked in the room. Then recommended taking him to Carmel for a behavior consultation (the breed is known for separation anxiety). The following appt they did let my husband go inside but after the initial intake, proceeded to take our dog 'to the back' to do the exam and administer his shots. The vet then refused to see him again until he was muzzled even though my husband tried to get them to do the exam with him present. The vet tech was amazing and our dog showed zero aggression the entire time the tech was in the room, even leaning against her and loving on her. Dr. Veronica Busick is horrible with dogs, refused to acknowledge our concerns regarding the visits and labeled him as 'very aggressive' when he has known severe anxiety. She did nothing but traumatize our dog even more. We will not be going back.

We will not be returning for services for our 3 dogs. The last appointment that was made for our GSD and American Bulldog, we were sent away. The staff said because we did not confirm our appointment, they canceled it. We showed up 10 minutes before our appointment time. Then they would not let us purchase flea, tick and heartworm medicine that our dog's were due for.I called to see if there was something they could do to get my dog's the medicine they prescribed them and I was told the veterinarian would call me back. Nobody returned my phone call.We spent over 1000 dollars last year and we're fooled into thinking these people cared about our babies enough to look past something that had to do with miscommunication of a unconfirmed appointment. I would understand more if it was a no call no show but we showed up on time.This place clearly only cares about money and not the well-being of your loved one's. Find another veterinarian.

You will have better luck getting your animal into a neurosurgeon before you can get an appointment here. Coming from someone with 4 bullies and a cat. I've spent $ multiple thousands of dollars here. In the last 3 years. But they can't even squeeze 1 dog in the schedule to empty his glands for at least a month. Ill let that go for a month, lmfao...nope. They send postcards to remind you of when shots are due. Just be assured tho, they will get you an appointment 2 months after their shots expire. At some point my animals comfort is not worth what Country Critters can fit into their schedule.

Also thank you for complimenting my handsome boys. I know they will always be in good hands at Country Critters.EDIT (8/5/20): I just picked up my sweet dog, Theo, from surgery. The doctors at Country Critters helped me identify a concerning lump, talk my husband and I through every single option available to us, and treated us with the upmost respect and kindness throughout this difficult and scary time in our lives. His surgery was completed in a timely manner and without any complications. They even took the time to trim my pups nails while he was under. The little things are what truly stand out and I’ve come to expect nothing less than the best from this clinic. What an OUTSTANDING experience I’ve had with you all. Thank you for everything you do for us and our fur babies. We will forever be lifelong clients.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Eddleman always explains his diagnosis so that ;you understand , and answers any questions you might have. We were former clients with our husky Princess who passed away 4 years ago, and we are back with our rescue, Cookie. You can tell that everyone at Country Critters loves animals.

Totally different experience than I have ever encountered. My girl went to the same vet for 13 years. When she became extremely ill my old vet clinic denied her service even through I explained it was an emergency. I found Country Critters. I called and was able to get right in. They checked up on her daily and asked if there was anything they could do for her. I am glad I was able to find them even though my days with her were numbered. I wish I knew about them sooner. I started taking my other dog there. Was shocked when the doctor came in sat right in the floor with her and made her feel so comfortable. Did more for her than the old vet ever did. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!!

Dr. Busick and team have always been very supportive, friendly, and caring with our furry family. They take the time to listen and treat each of the cats like they were their own. You couldn’t ask for better veterinary care!
