I will only shop at wood life! The owner was so very knowledgeable and took alot of time to help me figure out a proper diet for my dog with liver shunts. It was difficult to get my dog to eat and after talking with her and following her advice my dog gobbled up all her food. I am so grateful and wanted to inform others about this well educated owner who actually knows all about the products she sells and proper nutrition for dogs!!!

They have a varied selection of quality pet food, treats, apparel, supplements, and toys. The reward program for buying in bulk is great and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a wide assortment of raw, freeze dried, and kibble foods for your dog. They also have a section for cats.

I had the most lovely experience wandering into this small but innovative and hip, dog-loving franchise located at 1190 E. Summit St. in Crown Point, Indiana! The dog I love the most absolutely ADORES their Bocca Coconut Dental Treats so much, I had to stop in more for more! I'm so glad I did! I learned some more interesting facts about dogs, scored some more grain-free, beefy treats she loves, some organic healing itch ointment for her seasonal allergies, and saw some other really, REALLY cool, dog-centric stuff! The owner of Woof Life and her staff are amazing. They have helped me and my pets so very much. I love having this store so close to home, and the ability to ask any questions pet related in the store or by calling in. They do all they can to make each visit exceptional going above and beyond every time. Kudos to the entire staff in Crown Point! You all Rock!

I wouldnt recommend this store if you are a have a litter or puppies or pregnant dam. My first time visit was nice coz I was only buying a collar. I went back because I saw they have cool stuff for dogs. Second visit was I was asking for food recommendations for my pregnant dam. The owner was not very happy when she found out my girl was pregnant and asked right away if I will spay her after. Ughh, ok I breed dogs and I have spent thousand of dollars prior to breeding them. I work closely with my vet to provide good care for them. They have health testing but what I get from the owner was this awkard feeling. So I left feeling not welcomed. 3rd visit was asking if I can give my puppies goat's milk and what brand they would recommend. The lady asked what was going on and I just said I want to add it my puppies food. I was thinking it will be good for them plus some are struggling with loose stool. I told her mom only feed once a day coz they are already 4 weeks and have teeth. I mean should I force my dog when she clearly knows what she is doing?? She gave me a side eye and what is more ridiculous is she told me I should bottle feed my puppies every 2 hours! She was shocked, her eyes got big with disbelief when I told them they dont need that much food because they are doing fine eating mush which I dont think she knows what it is. Puppies doesn't need to eat every 2 hours at that age and she havent even raised any puppies but she wants to lecture me about it. The only one that was nice was the lady who worked there and actually had a litter of puppies. So again, disappointment from the staff. If they want to sell customers who share the same values and belief that they have, they should make a big sign on their door instead of making me feel bad about myself. I like supporting small business but not this one!!

I was blown away today by the thoughtfulness of the girl that works here. I spoke with her on the phone for a couple of minutes about coming in to get some things for my neighbor dog who had his first chemo treatment. When I got to the store, she had a gift basket all put together with the perfect things: some healthy and tasty treats, some soothing balm for dry paws after treatments, cbd honey, a really cute toy, and a massage book for dogs. It was honestly exactly what I had envisioned and then some. Thank you so much for your kindness and knowledge of all the products to make him feel better! You made my day and his!

I had just about given up on my dogs eating dog food again. They were playing me big time and not eating until the got some eggs and cheese, or chicken, beef, anything on top of their dog food. They gave me something called "lightly cooked, small batch dog food" You keep it in the freezer with a days worth in the fridge and the dogs love it more than any junk food I was giving them. Thank you!

I always come here to buy little gifts and cookies for my dog. I’m usually here around the holidays. The workers are very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of goodies to choose from for your pet. I definitely love this little pet shop!

The worst dog store I have ever been too. They didn’t even say hello when I walked in. The vibes were off and didn’t seem friendly at all. Over priced and their products look very cheap. Don’t waste your energy or time on this place.

I will not patronize this establishment after the way my daughter-in-law and grandchildren were treated here. My daughter-in-law was treated horribly both times she was in there and neither of the workers came out from behind the counter to help her when she asked for help. The worst thing, however, is the fact that the owner was talking negatively about my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren to another customer who referred them to go there! What horrible customer relations! You certainly don’t build customer clientele that way! Will never go here!

Leslie Cook, the owner, and one of her employees helped look for my lost dog. She put her personal phone number as the contact info if anyone had any information about about my lost pup. She was contacted/found my dog! ..but instead of letting me know, she called my ex girlfriend (whom used to work at Woof Life and hadn't seen the dog in nearly two years) held and gave my dog to her without my knowledge. A police report has been filed, Leslie refuses to make herself available to give a statement to the police. Currently waiting for the police report to be finished so that I can have my attorney file a suit against Woof Life in order for them to be summoned and give testimony of where my dog is.
