We love having this place so close to the house... very convenient! Our dogs love going here also. As far as the store goes, they need to work on the amount of stock they keep on hand. They are out of many items we are looking for every time we stop on. They have been getting a little better though. Nicollete, one of the managers, is great! She is always so friendly and helpful. The older male manager on the other hand is less than helpful and usually very unfriendly! He must not be a very happy person... hope things get better for him!

I only go here for my supplies. Great prices, very helpful staff, they genuinely care about pets, adopted a cat from here too. They were so excited that he found his forever home. Wouldn’t have been possible without this place!

My store of choice when it comes to my animals. I recently bought a tunnel for my cat, I was worried he wouldn't like it. I asked the woman at check out if I could return it, she said of course just keep the receipt. As I was leaving she goes "I hope your cat really likes his tunnel." It was so sweet & I just wanted to upload this as a shot in the dark for her to see it.... He loves it. Thank you very much!

Brought my dogs here to bathe them. There's a room with 2 bath stalls, equipped with all the shampoo and towels needed. Very clean and the staff were helpful. Also found a collar and some ear cleaning solution for my labs at a great price.Update:. I have 2 9 month old puppies that are a handful. Bringing them here for baths makes everything so easy! They have the best food choices and prices. (Only grabbed a photo of one post bath today!)

Helpful, friendly atmosphere for shopping at this particular store. Shelves are ALWAYS stocked. If you have difficulty locating items, they always steer you in the right direction. I will only shop at Pet Supplies Plus in Crown Point, Indiana for all my dog's needs. Both my Boston Terrier's love, love, love the toy selection too. And they love those shorter bully sticks. This store deserves 10 stars 🤩😁⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟🌟⭐⭐⭐

Not for me or cat owners as far as I'm concerned. Limited cat products. Surprised when I went in they don't carry the most basic brand of wet style catfood my cats eat (Iam) 5 isles of dog products, 1 1/2 isle for cats. Not very friendly there either.

The store itself is great and has a convenient variety of supplies for pets.The grooming experience was awful. I have a medium-sized dog, and he gets anxious in unfamiliar environments. The first time we attempted to get his nails trimmed, I was asked to come behind the counter next to him, I was responsible for getting him on the table, and I was expected to hold him in the proper position to cut his nails. I left wondering why I was paying someone else when I did half the job.My mistake was giving them a second chance and trying again a few months later. This time I needed a few supplies so I handed the groomer the leash and told them I would return in a few minutes. After I came back, there was a different dog on the table being groomed. I asked how my dog did and they told me he wouldn’t get up on the table. I replay our previous experience and I get my dog on their table. He sits down and the groomer refuses to cut his nails.With the entire purpose of my trip wasted, I left silent and angry.A warning to other pet parents looking for a groomer: unless your dog is small and immaculately trained for every environment, expect to do half the work and consider it lucky if they even do the job.Go for the convenience of their supplies, avoid their grooming department.

The staff is always friendly and helpful for anything I ever need. They seem very knowledgeable and they seem to specialize in amazing customer service. If I had any complaints it would be that other companies aren’t learning their customer service skills from these guys at this location.

The staff here are awesome! We got an animal from here and the employees helped us pick out everything we needed, and even got us a 25% discount on some items. Overall I was very impressed with how quick they were and how thorough. Thank you guys!

Great place! It's really huge inside and has everything including cat litter made of pine which is needed for our elderly cat.I mistakenly thought Pet Supplies was going to be small with a tiny bit of limited items.. not true! Everything you could want for a pet is sold there.

Love the VIP Pet Clinic that is located inside Pet Supplies Plus. I bring my pups here to get their shots, it's a convenient location for me. Also, I purchase my pet's food here....they offer coupons that I get through the mail and email. Sign up for the Pet Supplies Plus Card.

I want her to get shots for my cats at their in store VIP Petcare. No appt necessary. It's from 10-11:30am on certain Saturdays. Only 2 people were ahead of me so I didn't wait too long. The Doctor and assistants were very good and very nice.

After having to wait for one employee to stop talking about nothing that had to do with work (waited about 5 minutes before they noticed that I was waiting patiently for help) I'll give them the fact it was almost closing time and I think the girl telling her story was a trainee. The lady that did help me was extremely helpful. Any questions I had about our bearded dragon was answered. She helped me find EVERYTHING I needed and was Very friendly. But I do think that when there are still quite a few customers in the store there should be less socializing especially when there was a group of 4 just standing there talking wait until the doors are locked then tell your stories that have nothing to do with work. Being a trainee she will learn though.Apparently I forgot to post this. Have been there many times since only place I know of to buy bugs my dragon needs. He has grown so much so I have introduced roaches into his died which he loves and he likes the super worms to. Only problem is you get a certain count. One time the lady argued with me that they weren't of course when I got home and went to feed him a couple to him quite a few were dead. Today roaches were dead but they did give me 25 percent off that. On a good note I called a head to see if they had crickets and they did over the phone the young lady asked how many. She had it all ready for me at the register which was so sweet of her because I usually have to track someone down which takes forever to get them and you never know if your getting the amount you ask for a pay for because they don't use the tool they have to measure it.

I think I love going here way too much. I always have the best intentions of grabbing only the few things I was going for... then end up leaving with a couple bags. I love that they have such a large variety and that I can get stuff for my other kids aka pup stuff for my rue cats stuff for Chino and Cisco and least not forget my reptile buddy spike the bearded dragon all in one-stop shop. They have great variety of things for all your pet family members. Even for the dragon they go from crickets to Dubia roaches to meal worms and super worms and even some juicy horn worms. I would definitely recommend to any one looking for some great stuff to give their pets.

Buy fish here because the fish are really good; no dead fish, no algae, and has an awesome variety of cool fish. They take care of the fish and lable them so you know which fish are aggressive. Overall, if your looking to get fish, this place is the place to go.
