Terrible store. Rude staff that don’t help you or even know anything. Was cussed out by Todd Norton ( guy that always wears a bandanna). Shop ace , more knowledgeable and better prices.

I love this little hardware store! Always surprises me by stocking things that I need, so I don't have to drive to Merrillville all of the time. Thanks CP True Value!!! You guys ROCK! Staff is always friendly, and helpful as well! Don't dismiss it as an understocked convenience store!

Love the selection here. They have a great staff...so friendly and helpful! Can be pricey for certain items, but worth it, as it's so conveniently located and set up so it's easy to find what you're looking for quickly...run in and run out!

Convenient location. Friendly, helpful staff. I'm regularly (pleasantly) surprised by their selection that will save me a trip up to one of the larger competitors (who do not have nearly the same staff:customer ratio). Prices are OK. Did I mention the convenience?

Beware. Twice now I have bought something from this store and the shelf price is lower than what it rings up. They do not honor the shelf price. I think that’s not good business.

Great store for quick, need items. Prices are higher but they are here in Crown Point, otherwise any major hardware stores are 20 minutes away. Staff very friendly and helpful 👍

Don’t trust there prices everything in that store rings up for more than the tag on the shelf says it is and they will not correct it the guy just literally told me he can pull every tag off and let items ring up whatever they ring up to was completely rude and I will not be back

Basic hardware store. They don't stalk you as much as Ace does. Sometimes the employees even avoid you haha. I like the close location.

I called and asked if they had dirt ahead of time and they said they had a lot. My husband showed up and they ended up not having any, then they tell him to go to the cedar lake store which he did and they didn't have any either!
