Went in to purchase a gun as a woman who lives alone. I began looking at guns in the case and the man ignored me. A male customer came up and he immediately said “can I help you find something?” and began helping him. When I made my choice, I told him which one I liked. The man at the counter was incredibly sexist, accused me of trying to buy it for “a boyfriend who couldn’t have one”, and ultimately refused to sell it to me. He wasn’t wearing a name tag but he was an older guy with white hair and glasses. This was incredibly discriminatory as I was denied access to a service due to being a woman.
