Haven't been in some time and they have a pretty solid new menu. The reason I give 3 stars is because the take home meal thing they've implemented is a bit of a scam. It's 5 dollars a solid deal especially when the pictures they use to advertise them show a full TV dinner type meal with a large portion, we got the chicken amd macaroni. The picture attached shows the entire portion given to us after being warmed

Sat for 10 minutes before getting any service, ordered scrambled eggs for part of my meal and got fried eggs folded over instead. My wife ordered catfish with one sides being green beans only to receive fried apples along with not getting her corn muffin after waiting for the waitress to stop by only to find out that they were not ready, she came back about 5 minutes later and said that it would be 3 more minutes which became 15 minutes. She definitely tried and had a second one helping her out something is definitely not right out there. I’m glad they wasn’t busy because I probably would still be sitting there. Couldn’t have been no more than 1/4 full at the time I was there. Follow up on the visit, bad eggs poor service and David the manager was especially rude and hung up on me. I never cussed or anything but the he basically said I was lying before he just hung up. Said he had been with them for 20 years and and if this is the same person that I saw while waiting for my to go order then he must have started there when he was 10

We stopped because I always like to visit a Cracker Barrel, unique gift items and food you can count on to be good. This visit I ordered the meatloaf lunch special & upgraded my side to salad. It is nice they offer to 4pm. My salad came 1st and had alot of core, not a lot of green lettuce. The tomatoes were tasty. When it arrived, it wasn't hot, but not cold either. The meatloaf had good flavor, I just wish it had been warmer. The buscuit was warm and tasty. My husband said his burger was good. And of course the gift shop had all kinds of beautiful things, candy and was very busy.

The food, as always, was great. The (blond) service.... less than Cracker Barrel quality. We arrived at 6pn and were seated immediately. Our server had an 'fell out of the moon" attitude: my husband ordered the steak dinner with three sides and I wanted the white fish: I was told they are out for the night. Then I ordered the trout and a cup of veggie soup which was supposed to be $1.99 because I had a two-entree meal. This being a Southern Meal, the waiter was supposed to ask if I wanted a biscuit or a corn muffin. She forgot. The meal came, not the soup. Had to remind her twice. Then she brought a 3/4 cup in her hands instead on a plate. NO spoon!!! Had to ask AGAIN for a spoon. The silverware was not the cleanest. NO soda crackers came with the soup. Barely any veggies in the soup. Definitely NO potatoes. She charged me $4:19 for the cup that was supposed to be $1.99! She didn't wait for us to finish and brought the check, after which she asked if we wanted anything else. We left tip/cash on the table but ... she didn't deserve any of it.(Excuse the typos - didn't have my glasses).

We stopped in for breakfast on Friday 4/26 about 10 am.Overall the food was really just very bad. The sausage patties and the slice of ham were terrible. The eggs and the gravy were also not good.The biscuits were okay as was the hash brown casserole. The service was fine which is the only reason I’m giving this store 2 stars as opposed to one. This visit has certainly turned me off of Cracker Barrel.

Ate here about 4:30 pm today. Never had a bad meal in the past but today was bad. The first pot pie they brought me was too brown on top so I was just going to skip the crust but the inside of the pot pie was almost completely dried up. The waiter took it back and brought me another one. It also seemed too brown on top but at least the inside was ok. Waiter was very nice but never offered a go cup of the peach tea I was drinking. Brought most of the potpie home, not really interested in eating it anymore. Disappointed ☹️

Well over priced.Tiny menu, small portions.There are better places to eat.Waitresses tried hard but with the limitations, there wasn't much they could do.The silverware was totally gross. Looked like it was coated with bhe last person's dinner. Turned out to be soap stains of some kind. Still gross.

We usually meet our daughter and son in law for dinner every once in a while. Tonight was one of the worst!! We’ve had issues before here but the last couple times it had improved. But tonight wasn’t one of those. We order our food. Three of us order grits. They are brought out pretty much nothing but water. The waitress takes them back after agreeing with us that they looked like they weren’t even cooked! She comes back and said that the cook said they are all like that. So we order something else. My wife ordered green beans. They looked really good but they were soaked in oil. And had a terrible taste. I ordered breakfast and had asked for my hash browns cooked crispy. They were hardly done. After asking to have our grits cooked and was told that’s the way they all are we were done. We paid for our meals and left a nice tip. It’s not the waitress’s fault that the food was bad. But it will be a long long time before we’ll return.

I frequently order dumplings from Cracker Barrel. The past two times I have ordered from this particular restaurant they have been horrible. One order, although the broth was spot-on, multiple dumplings were all stuck together to form big, raw dough ballsl. There were at least three big dough balls in this order. The most recent order, the broth was so thick the entire dish was like paste; completely inedible. There is no excuse for food to go out of the kitchen in this condition. Both the person preparing the plate and the server could have seen the issue. Please do better, Cracker Barrel!

Did online order for the first time. I was a few minutes early and told them I was there by text. I waited over 10 minutes and no food. I then called the number and no one answered. I then called and pushed for first available. Spoke with a gal who said it was just brought up. She ran it out. I then checked my order and had an item missing. I then had to go in to get it. In all I was there 45 minutes. Got home and my food was cold and tough on top like it had been sitting under a heat lamp.

I asked for my green beans to be in a separate bowl, but they were in the same bowl as my chicken & dumplings and mashed potatoes. My chicken and dumplings and mashed potatoes had way too much pepper in them. I ate them (not all of the chicken and dumplings), but my mouth was on fire by the time I finished. Also, the green beans were cooked to death and the corn bread had an odd flavor to it. My husband agrees with my comments concerning the dumplings and corn bread because he had them too. Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places to eat, but I’m not sure I’ll eat at this Cracker Barrel again.

I work at this particular store and it truly is just one big family! It's such a welcoming environment and everyone seems so upbeat and happy! We go above and beyond for our guests and know our regulars by name and by their order!! If you want to be a part of a family setting that had great food then come on out and we'll take care of ya!!Dietary restrictions: We have a gluten free menu and pay close attention to allergies.Parking: Plenty of room for parking!!Kid-friendliness: Checker boards and shopping in retail! Yummy food off the kid menus

We eat at Cracker Barrel quite often and 95% of the time it is very good. This last time fell in to the 5% range. We stood and waited for ten minutes to be seated because the hostess was no where around. It took another fifteen minutes for someone to wait on us and much longer to get our food. I finally went to the waitress and asked for a bill so we could pay for our drinks and have her cancel our order. She asked us to let her check one more time on our order and then she brought it right out…cold. Refills were nonexistent. This review is not the normal situation at Cracker Barrel but was our experience this most recent visit.

My family and I recently visited Cracker Barrel, enticed by the promising scenery upon arrival. However, our dining experience quickly turned sour. Our hopes were initially raised by a very pleasant waitress who informed us of a malfunctioning fryer. Despite this setback, we placed our orders optimistically, only to be met with disappointment at every turn.First, we discovered they were out of apples, a staple side dish. Then, we were assured of drink refills, which never materialized due to their shortage of ice. Furthermore, we were left without napkins, adding to the growing list of frustrations.The climax of our dissatisfaction came when our meals arrived. My order of Mac and Cheese was unavailable, and my mother's anticipation for mashed potatoes was unfulfilled. To compound matters, my burger arrived as an afterthought, leaving me to dine alone while my father finished his meal.As we awaited the missing components of our meals, we learned that the restaurant had run out of potatoes entirely. With our expectations shattered and appetites unsatisfied, we departed Cracker Barrel with a bitter taste in our mouths.Overall, our experience was marked by a series of disappointments, from missing menu items to subpar service. Despite the initial allure of the scenery, the lack of basic amenities and food items left us feeling dissatisfied and unlikely to return.

Worst cracker barrel I've ever been to. Ordered food for a curbside order and ended up waiting an hour for them to tell me after I called the store twice that she is the only one working and can't come out to the curb side drop offs. When I got my food it was cold and my steak wasn't medium rare, it was over cooked. They didn't even give us silverware.

Went here with the fam after a tiring day of flying. The food was very tasty, but I'm only giving 4 stars because the waitress took forever to get our drinks, let alone the food. However, a manager did come over and ask how she was doing, so perhaps she was new.I ordered the chopped steak and it was pretty good. The biscuits were a little bland, but I'm from NC, so that's to be expected. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

We usually love cracker barrel for breakfast but this location was not great. Service and food where not that good . Also most I've been to are very clean this one you can tell is not kept up as well as other locations. Sadly will not be back .
