Love dollar general!! This store has definitely made a complete change up! All of them have. I remember when I was a kid, in the early 90s, dollar general was kinda trashy, now I do most of my shopping there. The prices are good and for the most part I've never had a bad experience at a store.

Aisles pretty crowded with merchandise to be stocked. Some aisles were impassable with a cart but the staff were kind and helpful and trying to get things put away. If I were giving them advice I'd say to not crowd up the aisles so much so customers could get to what they were looking for quicker.

Since new people work there the store has improved a lot. It used to be so crowded and trashy that you couldn't even make it down half the aisles, but now it's really clean and they do a good job of keeping everything stocked up. The employees are always super helpful too.

Clean store. Easy to get to and plenty of parking across the street. Most staff are friendly. A couple are not. My big complaint is when I went to buy totes and things to get ready for a move, a LOT of things did not have prices on the item or the shelves (I.e the totes) and I had no idea how much they cost until she rang them up at the register to check me out.

Nothing stocked and dirty store. The cashier rolled her eyes when the lady asked her to clock in and help me, she looked like she just got put of bed.. no uniform This store was actually doing great and the shelves where stocked. The store was clean. Great friendly workers. It's been a month since I have shopped here. Now it's messy nothing stocked can't hardly get down the aisle. I live in between Attica and Covington. Started going to the Covington store weekly 6 to 8 months ago bc it was clean and the shelves were stocked. What happen????

Store is horrible. Employees and management is rude. Takes me 5 minutes to get to this store since I live in same town but I drive to Attica. Management and Staff is helpful and kind. Store is a lot more refreshing to shop at even though all the stores are to small to hold all the merchandise that the company offers to their customers. This store does great with being clean and organized for what they have to deal with. Covington Dollar Store employees especially the management team needs to keep their mouth shut on the floor. It's sad when they are bad mouthing their Co workers and customers on the floor, when Covington is a small town everyone knows everyone. I could not believe when the Manger they have now had the nerve to HAND right a note to all customers, posting all over store which went something like this: If you pick it up put it back where you got it, we don't have time to babysit and pickup after you. Now really how Professional is that? I'm just saying this is my experience and I will travel or pay triple for any merchandise before I will support and be part of the reason they have a job in Covington. Working in Retail Management all my life you have to put up with and deal with a lot when it comes to working with the public but without the public doing business with the Retail Store I've worked for I would not of had a job. Thank you for letting me vent on how my shopping experience has been with the store

The best workers! Idk the ladies name but everytime I got in with my two littles and my son escapes she always helps me. She always talks to us and even helps me to the car sometimes. Seriously Thank you and when I find out your name I'll update 💖

Store is junky and hard to get through the isles. Too much stuff and not enough space. I prefer not to go to this store unless I'm desperate. They need better help and it needs cleaned yo badly.

When I walk in there are boxes every where, when you are looking for something and you ask for help they eaither dont know or walk away and dont talk to you. The new manager that took over need to be nice and helpful to people even if she dont like the person. And I dont agree with employees smoking out front of the building. People that dont smoke or cant be around it smell it and is going to have issues with breathing. At family dollar in Attica they say hello as soon as you walk in the door, DG needs to do the same. The place smells like body order when I walk in there. You would think the people that complain about the people in there something gets done about it.

You can NEVER get thru the aisles. Always boxes piled up to the ceilings. Forget trying to use a cart in there you can barely fit yourself thru them. I'm terrified of taking my child in there. Too many boxes that can fall. It's a wonder no one has been hurt yet

This store is always a mess and if you are in a wheel chair or walker forget it you can't get down any of the isles.The manager would crack her head if she ever smiled and you ask her a question or ask for help and her reply is never friendly she's always busy or she's the only one there.Ill drive to veedersburg to the family dollar.

I get dg brand of auqa for oinfment. They were out at 47928 cayuga Indiana last week so I went to 47932 Covington Indiana. They were also out. Employee was putting away stock in area. I asked her if there was some there. She shrugged her shoulders and said " I don't know". I went back today a week later than before. Both stores were still out of the product so I did purchase one of the name brand iitems. I just felt the need to report my experience. Rose Miller, box 481, perrysville Indiana 47974

I think they have the cashiers trying to do so much extra besides ringing people up. They are always away from registers if there is a break in customers.

Aisles were so crowded you couldn't get through and They are not wide enough. Maybe 4 people working and 1 cashier with 6 people in line to check out.

This is probably the worst dollar store I've ever been in, there is stuff everywhere and you can't get to anything. It's always like this, what you can get to is unorganized and mixed up, and the staff there is rude and hateful
