Employee was super rude when I asked for help because a gift card I had wasn't working, I even switched registers at her request and she continued to give me attitude. I got so fed up I said I didn't want anything anymore and threw a bag at her. She of course told me not to come back, like I had planned to. I don't want to spend my money at a company that hires people like that, and it's worth the drive to shop at a place with nice Employees!

The managers treat customers and employees poorly with a grueling lack of professionalism. Otherwise, a fine place to stop for fresh produce as the self-checkout allows you to avoid most hassle.BONUS (Edit): For your entertainment, I'd like to tell the story of the "illegal" 2nd soap bottle. In the employee bathroom the handsoap remained empty for a painfully long amount of time. One day, I decided to finally replace it. Unknowingly, the assistant manager had already replaced it, but I had gone through the trouble of grabbing another bottle so I assumed that having two bottles of soap would be fine. I even checked corporate documents to make sure that I was using the correct product. Very early next morning, the assistant manager sent a group text to all active staff (including photo of soap) in a distressed tone and said every low-level associate is banned from adding supplies. Comedy. Imagine freaking out about having two bottles of soap in an employee bathroom...

I shop here every day, I can get almost everything thing I need in one place, also it's affordable, and finally it's only one of 2 stores max on this side of town.

Love this new location! They have a produce and freezer section, in addition to what you can normally find at other DG’s! Glad they seem to be well staffed now too..

Manager shut the door in our face “mm mm nope we have to put our truck away we’ll be open in a little bit” I’ve worked at a DG before and we never had to close for dairy truck.

This lady named Amber is one of the managers there she has been working for dollar genreal for 15 years and most of it was in Rushville even with all her time working there she is incredibly rude and cares for no one but her self if you ask her something she snaps at you even if you are being nice she is just over all a bad worker I would never go back to that trash store again.
