purchased enough fence to do our whole yard. Couldn't haul it all so when we went back to pick up the rest they had done sold it again. And we was told to bad go to greenwood and get it.would not compensate us in any way.

Columbus store is the saddest store I have ever been to I was picking up a order and was not ready had to go find my whole order myself and load it and they shorted me 8 roles of insulation and told me come back on the 2nd I went on the 3rd and didn't have it had to settle with cheaper brand and everyone back there at pick up is very rude and your loosing business fast and all you post is call general manage and he is just as bad and his name was Brandon lost my business for life better be glad of security guard or people would be taking all your supplies

Picked up an online order. Product was damaged. Took the product anyway. Asked if I could get it wrapped because it was raining. Associate acted like it was end of the world because he had to actually do something. Very frustrating that I pay good money for something. And get bad customer service.

Went in and designed a countertop, weighed our options and decided this was the best price for the material we would like. Went back in to order and the gentlemen looked over our order and said this is all wrong. Width and length was wrong sink cut out was wrong. They missed or clicked options that changed the overall layout. We corrected everything and it was more expensive then the original price. I decided to just let them go ahead and order. Our ship date was set at 12-4. 12-4 comes and goes with no updates. Several days go y then I receive an updated arrival date of 12-22. No explanation. Call the store they have no idea why. A day goes y and we get an update that the supplier company had a saw go down and that’s why it was extended 18 days. Now it’s the 22 and our countertop is stillIn Illinois, we have no update and menards is unhelpful and don’t seem to care. We’ve built our home and garage solely with menards materials. We will no longer do so.

I’ve had to go to Menard’s for a lot of projects for my new house and John has been the best person to help us out with cost effective, logical solutions! We went by the store today on Black Friday and luckily found John after staring at the dryer vent section for 30 minutes. He’s always gone above and beyond to help us out and make sure we understand what we need to do! We really appreciate him!! Hopefully he’s around for all of our future projects too. If he helps us out anymore we might have to invite him to our family Christmas.

I go there alot. Great service most times. Not this time. I purchased 2600 dollars worth of windows. No help. Asked. Then they wandered off. I spent nearly 2 hours finding and loading all windows onto a cart by myself. Most of which were on top shelf. 50 lbs each. 36x80 windows. They walked by. Looked away. Then pushed to ck out. Got told to put on mask. No. Payed and pushed outside and spent another 45 minutes loading them right at door. No offer of help. Train your associates in customer service. If I had not needed them for job next day I would have walked out!

Good place for all household products. I am downgrading my previous rating from 5 to 1. They do not deserve a five star, unhelpful associates and the manager disappointed me.I have visited multiple times and never faced any issues. But this time while walking inside randomly I noticed big clearance 2.99$ mobile accessories items. Some items(Mobile mount) caught my eye and I took them for billing these were not my shopping list I only took them because the price attracted me. Meanwhile I also shared the picture with friends about the deal. My friends are also interested in buying those, I took a couple for billing. The counter associate told me that the item price rang as 7$. I explained to the associate at the counter and showed her the picture of the price. The associate called the manager and he verified and told me$ 7 final. I took him to the rack where the clearance was. He looked and simply told maybe some one placed these items in that clearance box. But those not one or two items. I told them this is not fair and you have to honor the price. Unhelpful manager and staff did not help me. I left the store without purchasing anything. This is really bad.

The older woman with short gray hair that is always working at the right entrance - is always extremely unhelpful and rude.The rest of the employees don’t go above and beyond, but at least they’re not unfriendly like the gray haired woman.The store is pretty clean otherwise.

After finding the lighting area at Lowe's in complete disarray (I think they're in the middle of a reset) and unable to find anything, we went to Menards, walked in the door, and immediately found exactly what we wanted hanging in the cloud. Right underneath was where the stock was. Fastest shopping trip ever.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very easy to find a cart when they're needed, and had a very well developed 2nd floor deck throughout a large portion of the store with ways to get from one area to another. The outdoor area was well stocked and organized, which makes it easy to find specific items. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Ordered metal roofing for a patio project.Watched menards fork lift driver damage every section. Went to have them replace it. Took 2 hrs to finally get it done, several trips from the return area, to building supplies, to customers service. The lady at customer service charged me additional shipping n handling fees when she was told not to. Then lied about it to me and the building supplies manager. Had to get the general manager involved to get them reimbursed. You'd be better off throwing your return away then deal with them......

We placed an online order on Tuesday for the Menards in Jeffersonville, for pickup on Friday. We arrived and checked in at the drive through pickup area to get our 2 countertop pieces, sink, and a few other pieces. They were missing one of our countertops and didn’t have any in stock. Instead of doing a store transfer from the nearest store, they said we would have to go to the service desk and do a return on the missing item.So my husband went in with our ticket, but he didn’t know he would also need his phone to complete the return.Why make your customer do all the legwork when YOU were at fault for the reason of the return process? Terrible customer service all the way around!

I am being a loyal customer of Menards for the last 5+ yrs. While writing this I am really upset with the way I was treated & spoken rudely by executives from Columbus, Menards store.I came over to the Columbus store on 21st June 2023 to pick my order - which was a sectional couch. Since the sofa was huge I availed Menards truck rental service. When I got the sofa down at my home, I found it was already damaged from the bottom. That created a lot of trouble for me to drive twice from my home to return the item & it ate up almost half of my working time as well as a lot of energy. I rather had to take a half a day leave from my office work. In all this process I had to run between pickup desks to customer service multiple times. Every time there was no one available at the service desk. Someone came, I showed my concern on rental service charges which I had to pay twice due to damaged items by Menards. The customer care executive promised me to adjust it once I bring back the damaged item. But denied when I came back. Rather than listening to me, was talking very rudely. I really feel cheated and sad after this incident. I never imagined this kind of treatment from Menards with their old loyal customers.First of all Menards gave me a damaged item after waiting for 8 days, then again I had to wait for another 8 for replacement. I had to drive it twice, now again for replacement one has to do it again and spend money twice for a rental truck. Why should I suffer if it's not my fault? And on top of that very rude behavior which is breaking my heart.

Waited at paint counter over 15 min while employee was removing prices from shelf. He acknowledged me but did not offer to help. Another 5 minutes go by and he finally asked if I needed help. He said he would get someone. Another employee offered help but he went on stocking shelves and did not assist. There ewere 4 employees within 15 feet of and none offered help. Just left empty handed as it was obvious that customer service is not important.

The Hispanic lady at the front desk is the most caring and kind person I have ever met. She have a nice tone of voice and help me find all of my things even though I asked a million questions she never got frustrated or irritated. 100% coming back just to see her again. 5/5 review!

Scored some Christmas lights for 50% off and because they had fill the brown bag and get 15% off, I got a really great deal!Our cashier was very nice and treated us like he was glad we came in today.They still have a lot of Christmas items left if you hurry...

I'm a Home Depot guy first and Lowes second. Being new to Indiana, Menards is a little difficult to navigate. It's like K-Mart and Ace Hardware had a date, and the result doesn't know if it's a building materials place or a grocery store. Neither do most of the employees. If it is closer, by a lot, then maybe they have what you need, if you can find it or if you find the odd employee who can hopefully not lead you on a cross store adventure.I have had good and terrible results. Good most of the time, but there were a few bad experiences that had me vowing to never step foot in there again. Still, 15 minutes farther to a Lowes usually means the optimist in me stops at Menards if the need is generic.

I went to Menards to use my Menards bucks for a wheelbarrow but had to assemble it myself. The aisle was dark and I couldn't easily see the sku numbers. I asked an employee to buy a preassembled model but was refused. I spoke to the manager named Lee who was rude and unhelpful. He wouldn't consider building the wheelbarrow or helping me pick out the parts and refused to give me his supervisor's information. Lee's customer service skills were terrible. I plan to report this incident.

How is 0 stars not an option? Manager lies about what he’ll refund over the phone. They don’t stand behind their products at all. The products are for the most part junk. I will be going to Lowe’s or Home Depot from now on. The extra drive is by far worth it.

First, Brandon, the manager is a very fine gentleman and perfect for his position. Outstanding customer service and very solution oriented.On the other hand, front desk Donna had a very salty demeanor. She gave zero effort to solve the issue and is in no way geared for customer service. She told me..."You need to be quiet!" I wasn't being out of line or loud, but respectable. I am one unhappy customer that WILL NOT BE RETURNING to that store under any circumstances.

We moved here from Nashville, TN where we only ever used Home Depot, who have always been amazing. I used to be in and out of that store every single day just about as an Airbnb Property Management company.We decided to try Menards because we had never used them before and had heard good things. Never again.My 6 month pregnant wife had our two kids with her and made an online pickup order for some lumber. Upon arriving, she called the store and she explained that she was there to pick up some lumber. They stated that she would have to come inside and get it and load it herself. She then asked nicely if there was anyway someone could just bring it out for her after explaining she was very pregnant and had two screaming children in the truck.The employee proceeded to say, “we can help on big appliances but for this, we’re sorry, you’re on your own”.I’m astounded honestly.I’ve worked in customer service for years and years and if I heard that one of my personal employees pulled this, they would be getting written up immediately. Then again, I wouldn’t be promoting this type of atmosphere in my workplace. Customer service has just gone downhill everywhere nowadays and it shows.Will never go back. Lowes from here on out.

The people you have working here in Columbus Indiana are not very nice or helpful they will walk right past you and act like you are not even there. So it is really hard to find stuff that you are looking for they are very rude get some good help in there and stop letting the workers you do have managing the place be more bossy and personal instead of being professional so please step it us get some good people to work at our store here thank you
