This was the first time I went to a Big Lots in a long while. The last time I went to a Big Lots, the place was very messy and everything was just simply scattered everywhere. So I can definitely say it was very nice to see a store as neat as this one. I enjoyed being able to walk around most of the store and see all the items they had. The cashiers were friendly too.A simple experience and I purchased some very nice stuff for one of my dogs (only one of them because the other doesn't like anything other than just 1 specific treat that can only be found somewhere else). The reason for the -1 star is because there was a spider inside one of the little "hat-bandana" items for dogs and I think i saw another spider roaming around that area. This experience left me traumatized (just kidding). But it left me a little worried to keep looking at stuff in that section.Overall it is a great store, with a nice selection of things and it was nice to test out the couches and beds. Just beware any spiders.

Went to the new location in Columbus IN finally. Really like how they have the store set up. I also really like the furniture prices best deals around. I got a Swiffer wet jet, a tire brush and a few other items I forgot spent about $40. I was shocked they charge for bags now. I carried everything out myself instead of buying a bag. I will know next time.

Big lots save the day in two ways. One, I drove from Anderson area to Columbus to buy a specialty tool. On the way home I had to pee. And two as I was walking out I saw these cookies. My wife was upset because she couldn't go because I miss communicated and our plans crossed. My fault.....the cookies were perfect. Thanks Big Lots.

Many items without price tags, on shelves without price labels, or in center aisle displays without any kind of pricing signage or labels. I shouldn't have to hunt down a store associate to perform price checks on every item I want to buy. Actually, the state department of weights and measures requires visible pricing on all merchandise for customer security. I pushed my empty cart back up front and left the store. I will not be back

AVOID THIS PLACE... They don't have their own team to assemble your furniture, and they recommend unreliable and unprofessional people, and when you try to get answers they don't get back to you and ignore you. If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER shopping in this store again.

Seemed to be a little understaffed at the point there is a big sale going. When we finally got help the gentleman seemed uninterested in helping us to get what we needed. When he saw we were serious and that we planned on making a healthy purchase he got a little more into it. All in all not a bad experience and I am very happy with what we got.

since they moved to their new location, many of the aisles are difficult to navigate with those huge shopping carts. also, when i was in this afternoon, the cashier was too bored to even offer to bag my purchases. (1 star for her).

This is a relatively new store. Everything is neat and orderly. Cashiers are friendly. Prices are reasonable. I can tell a difference from grocery stores prices unfortunately they don't carry everything i need. I start there and then go to kroger down the street. It is worth the effort. I do wish they would have some motorized carts for those of us who have arthritis,but i will continue to patronize their store. Tonight i got pkg of red truck Christmas tree ornaments for $6. They were 3 nice size red truck ornaments,unique looking. Lots of nice looking Christmas stuff.

Store was clean and very organized, easily found what I went in to buy (plus a whole bunch of things I wasn't planning on buying) but I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good deals.

I enjoy shopping at big lots but the store is too small to have that much stuff crammed in it. It's difficult to get a cart down some isles and impossible for 2 people to pass down the same isle.

It's a lot bigger in its new location. Very clean, friendly enough staff and overall a much better store than the previous location. The stock is pretty odd still and for some reason they were in the middle of stocking multiple aisles with an insane amount of pork rinds, many of which I accidently knocked over. Basically, if you're looking for something specific, you may or may not be successful finding it. If you're not looking for anything in particular, you may end up with a cart full.

Good place to check out prices of various household items to compare with other shops. Some toddler toys are available at lower cost than other places. Lots of options for couches. I have had good experience with associates at this particular address.

Just bought a awesome new chair here. Went back with sister to exchange a dress for a different size. She had no receipt and they wanted to charge her just to exchange it. Really ??? She won't be going back and gives me 2nds thoughts. So people keep your receipts for everything!!

Customer service is lacking, instead of asking if you need help, they just have a couple of people follow you. They just assume you're a shoplifter if you have a backpack. !! Kinda stereo typing.or it could be that I am a person of color. Not to friendly to anyone with a shade darker.

Seems to have less items than before. However, this may be due to the new set up inside the store. The furniture is all in the center of the store, circling around the center (along the 3 outside walls - left side, back, right side) is all other items. Left side is clearance items and goes into home and kitchen items, back is grocery, right side is lawn and garden.My only complaint was it was hard to spot the entrance area of the check out. I actually walked right past it before realizing how it was set up. It reminded me of T.J. Max, you go through one spiral line to branch off to a specific register.I'm sorry to say, but the customer service when checking out was TERRIBLE. She held a conversation with someone else over her head set the entire time. At one point I thought she was talking to me and realized she STILL was not. She didn't even bother to tell me my total.Her attitude and lack of courtesy actually ended with me to leaving a few of the items I had planned on purchasing.

I leased a recliner from this store within a month chair broke. I called chair was under warranty .They replaced it with new chair. Within 2 weeks of getting that chair it broke. I called store was told to bring back chair I could get my money back and get out of lease. Took chair back to store was treated very rudely and put through a big run around. Finally got refund done after calling big lots customer service as well as lease company. Customer service. I won't be dealing with them again..

Don't Ever !!!!! Buy furniture and have them deliver. Go somewhere else. I bought a couch and paid 100$ for the next day delivery and that was 2 weeks ago they just keep giving me the run around saying it will be next Friday. I got it canceled finally.

Big Lots keeps removing reasons for me to shop there. They used to have a great selection of soda with great sales- not anymore. They had unique beauty items, not anymore.

I love shopping here because you find unique items that are lower in price. It always fascinates me the products I can find when shopping. And recently the store closest to me got a new store. So its basically a retail scavenger hunt.

Went to look for a bed and living room furniture for my daughter and the guy that waited on us started waiting on other people that came in way after us. Never did explain anything or say it would be a few minutes ect..so we didn't have a choice but to leave. This was about 630 in the evening.

This store could use more products like clothes and food. Plus there furniture is a bit to high. But my mum got her bed there and her gray entertainment center as well $1500.00 total.

We have showed up 40min before close twice now, looking for a specific lamp/pillow/ottoman to match our new home.Both times the employees were rude - made it very clear we were an annoyance coming in before close, reminding us literally every 5 minutes that "we close at 9"... might as well change your hours to say closing at 8pm with those employees working as their driving out any last minute customer sales you'd have. 🤨👎those interactions have prevented us from coming back at all recently

Staff is always helpful and nice. Store has many things I didn't realize they carried. A lot of stuff here. Nice place to shop.
