You cannot even walk down an aisle in this store, let alone use a cart. There were 3 workers standing at the front. I had 2 babies with me and still had to scan my own items. Absolutely disgusting and will not be back.

Very rude was double charged for an item I call about it and they told me to bring the item back tomorrow well I was planning on eating that item I told them to ask the lady that checked me out to confirm that I didn’t buy two of that item they then told me that she will not be there to confirm my purchase then they just put the phone down and wouldn’t talk to me and was mocking everything I said. Very rude customer service

I have gone to this store numerous times because it was convenient at the time and everytime I have been in there the isles are packed with boxes not being unloaded and a lot of the shelves were empty too! Workers in the back room instead of unloading and cleaning this place up! Someone will end up getting hurt trying to step around this mess. Cashiers for the most part were friendly. I have been to other Dollar Generals and they were always in tip top condition. Maybe someone should retrain this store manager. Sorry just saying!!

Soon as we arrived in the store one of the clerks hollered the store closes in 3 minutes! I thought that was very rude! This is Dollar General in Columbia City Indiana Also I had just had reconstructive foot surgery on August 30th and I was using a knee scooter to get around!

This was my first time shoping at this store, I participate in penny deals. I am very polite, I asked for help when they didn't have a long line at the register. I do not make messes. I used please, thank you, and called her ma'am. She did what I asked but was not kind. I ended up not buying anything and walked out after our encounter. I would not recommend this store for their lack of good customer service.

I like Dollar General but this one most of the time has product carts in several isles that product needs put away. Can't get down isle if you need something in that isle. Cashiers are friendly but store is a pig pin. Most Dollar General keep there product carts in back room until they stock.

The Dollar General store in Columbia City in my book should not even have the one star rating I am giving them! The store is cluttered, in disarray and the staff and managers have been the worst people I have ever had to deal with in customer service. I have visited this store under a handful of times and each time that I have come back my experiences have gotten worse. I understand if you don't like to work with people, but why would you take a job in customer service? If you don't want to take my word for it though, feel free to go have your own bad experience at the Dollar General Store in Columbia City! However, I would choose a different store to shop at and save yourself a police report!!

Our new Dollar General Store is convenient.. I find everything i need in one stop. The people who work at my dollar store are so helpful and polite. Stop in and visit the smiling faces and great deals.

I love dollar general. I just have one complaint... What kind of dollar store sells 40 dollar speakers??? I want those mark down prices, yo...man, I was this close 🙏 to going to the dollar tree. Nah I just playin. I bought two speakers and they haven't busted yet... Even dropped one down a flight of stairs. Two thumbs up, Dollar General!

Manager ( I assumed) walking around and speaking with employee (going up and down aisles packed with boxes ) with his mask down at his chin. Good example! No recognition of me as a customer, either.

I love to go shopping here when I'm in a pinch with money, I can go and buy some easy to make dishes for just a couple of dollars. Still go sometimes even when I'm not in a pinch just cause the prices are better on certain items compared to competitors.

Very friendly staff. I have a broken arm, and they went out of thier way to help me. The young gentlemen went as far as opening my new charger for me. Would definitely recommend this dollars general.

This store is great when you are on a budget. The store is clean and organize. You can go to your play store bon your antroid phone. You can download the app of Dollar general. You can get extra coupon or extra coupon

Not impressed with the lights just the light bulbs hanging from ceiling. It is nice and clean we didn't get far cuz it was a few minutes before they were closing.

Store was very crowded with product but the worst part was a long line waiting to check out. The other register was inop so the cashier could not call for help.

Seems very unorganized as far as employees go. Always a long line or you have to wait a minute for an employee to stop what they are doing to come ring you up.

They have done a pretty great job of keeping stock of product I like when so many local businesses have closed and the options just aren't plentiful.

There was boxes and carts blocking the small aisles carts were blocking where i wanted to look this place is bad compared to the old store
