I've had my 2 male and female Standard AKC Poodles at Ruff Lyfe Dog Training for a 4 wk, on or off leash, Board and Train. I picked my female, Harley, up yesterday and she is a changed dog. All her old habits of begging for food while I'm eating is gone, bolting in and out of doors is gone and she stays on place until I free her. She will also be a joy to walk with a leash when the weather is nice! I'm so pleased with her training and can't wait to get my male Bo, back home as well and see all that he has learned!! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this company! The employees are fantastic and put us at ease with any concerns we have about our dog. Our rescue has stayed with Ruff Lyfe for a 4 week board and train and a couple refresher weeks over the last year. Her confidence is growing immensely with each visit and the Ruff Lyfe team always keeps us updated with pictures, videos, and messages during her stay. Most importantly, they have provided US with the training we needed to hold our pup accountable at home and continue her training. You are making and EXCELLENT decision when you choose Ruff Lyfe!

We absolutely love Ruff Lyfe Dog Training!! We took our 6 month old puppy to them and it made a huge difference in our puppy. She is so well behaved and listens to commands now. It has made our life much easier and much more enjoyable with our puppy. I can't thank them enough for what they accomplished. The staff was very friendly and the trainer kept in contact with us throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for a better place to take my sweet pup!! Thank you Ruff Lyfe :)

We love the friendliness of the staff and how well they work with animals. You can tell they truly love their job and have been properly trained themselves and know what they are doing. The dogs love the staff members, and are eager to learn. They keep them entertained and learning. The facility is clean and accommodating for dogs of all sizes. Our dogs (two large Cane Corso Mastiffs) have utilized several services from Ruff Lyfe and as owners we have been more than satisfied with each service, hence why we keep coming back for all of our needs. The dogs have improved their skills in many ways. We’ve had our dogs boarded while on a short trip. We’ve done 3 week dog training in home, which for our plan consisted of a couple in home sessions a week. We’ve done a board and train while on a short trip. We’ve done a month long train for our female where she stayed at the facility to work on her socialization skills, remote collar training, and Outside manners. Ruff Lyfe has worked with the dogs on creating skills that they didn’t have at all, and worked on brushing up skills that they had but needed improvement. No matter what we’ve worked with them on, the outcome has always been exactly what our home needed and has helped us understand our dogs needs better. We will always reach out to Ruff Lyfe for any pet needs!

Ruff Lyfe has been doing board and train with some of the rescue I volunteer at hard to place dogs. They have helped them develop so much in the time they spend there with manners, commands and working on controlling their triggers. They are wonderful to work with and very helpful with the transition back to the rescue to continue working on everything the dogs have been taught!

I absolutely love Ruff Lyfe Dog Training. Our dog, Boo, is fully deaf but now knows commands and hand signs for sit, ‘place’ (which is a life saver), and a few others. He is very well behaved and patient with our two kids as well (4&8). And it is thanks to Ruff Lyfe and their amazing owners.

Ruff Lyfe Dog Training is a 10/10!The owners are the sweetest and the building is very clean and professional! It’s a perfect location, right off the highway right outside of town! I took my bulldog there for training and boarding, when I got him back he was a completely different dog! I would recommend ANYONE with any kind of behavioral issues that their pet needs a fixin’!! 😁

We took our 6 month old pup to Megan for a 4 week board and train. She did such a great job with Porter! He is a joy to have in our home. He minds so well, he loves other dogs and even listens to my 2 yr old grandson. I will always recommend Ruff Lyfe Dog Training Llc.

I highly recommend Megan and Ruff Lyfe Dog Training. Our corgi Stanley did a 4-week board and train to help his listening skills and playfulness/jealousy with our toddler. When Stanley returned, he was much calmer and more patient with our toddler. He listens and obeys simple commands. Our toddler can even tell him to go to place and he obeys. He doesn’t harass our guests or jump on furniture. Most importantly, his barking has greatly decreased just in time for our newborn’s arrival. All in all, Megan helped Stanley become a trusted best friend to our kids.

There is no way around this. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY. We boarded our dog here because our usual boarder was on vacation. THEY LOST OUR DOG. They claimed he unlocked two locked doors and escaped. Did they call us to tell us? NO! They hid it from us and we had to find out from a vet clinic where he was dropped off after being found on highway 36. They lost our dog and never called us. Once we called Ruff House, it took HOURS to get the owner on the phone. Hours. Our dog could have DIED! Luckily, he made it home with only a scratched nose and diarrhea. This place needs to be closed down.

My dog Ozzy was a rescue with serious fear-based aggression. Natalie taught me how to manage his aggression and how to make sure he knew I was in charge. The basic commands she taught him are a game changer! Makes life so much easier for the both of us. It was hard being separated for a month but it was SO worth it!

This dog boarding place is awesome. My dog suffers from separation anxiety, but does very good here away from me overnight. You should try their daycare too. 5 star there too.

My 3 year old GSD jumped on everyone who walked in the door and I couldn’t even think about taking him on a walk while pushing a stroller especially. Now he never jumps and knows heel & never pulls me while on a leash. He also learned “place” which is the best thing in the world. 10/10 recommend!

They have now worked with 2 of our dogs and we could not be happier. We have now completed a 4 week board and train with one and private lessons with the other. The difference in our entire family because of their training is amazing. They not only train your dog but train you to be a better owner to your dogs. They are very open and receptive to actually hear you and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. Everyone we have gotten the opportunity to meet have been the nicest people. Natalie and Blake (the two that we have worked with) have done a phenomenal job with our furbabies. The difference in my wild child is a true miracle. Natalie was able to get through to what was really causing his issues and was able to show us how to help him. Blake has THE BEST tips and tricks for not only the dogs but training us as well. We could not be happier and more relaxed now. We definitely recommend reaching out to them whether you have a wild child like Kronos or sweet girl like Luna. You won't be disappointed!
