Kroger is tops when your lookin to pay less for top quality name brand products. Their store brand items are also high quality for those on tight budgets. Well organized clean store and friendly staff makes Kroger a better way to shop

We like going there for the larger variety of items, all personnel are friendly. We don't like that they frequently remove price tags from shelves and displays, also, a lot of items prices are not correct (sale items are not priced as such in the system) and we always ask the attendant of self checkout to fix the price, most of the time it is hassle free, very rarely they would keep us waiting to go check the label on the shelf, but they end up fixing the price mismatch

Always busy! Nice and newer interior design. Parking lot always busy. Always other customers within reach. A Variety of specialty items with extra counters. Check out registers not too bad of a wait.update: busy Sunday, three cashiers, store floor needs swept, parking lot littered, no carts at entrance…plenty of self check out available, no one wants to work, store lacking.

Super disappointed with my latest pick up order. Sometimes they do great and find substitutions for my items. This time a large chunk of my order they claimed was out of stock. Lettuce, strawberries and dog food being some of the things. I had to go into the store to find subs for them and they had the items I originally requested! They had EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the store that they claimed was out of stock. It was like 10 items. They had all of them!! And.L it wasn’t like there was just 1 left. This has happened a couple times now and as a mother of two little ones we love having pick up as an option, but it has become more inconvenient if I have to keep going into the store to purchase items that were obviously not even looked for. Kroger needs to step up their game in this department for sure. I am not blaming individual employees, it is the company that needs to do better.

Love shopping at Kroger. Have been shopping there for 50 years as long as I have been married. Don't care for all the moving around the items but I just have to shop longer but still wonderful store.

I'm so sick of this Kroger's atrocious pharmacy staffing problems. I literally am waiting in a line with 20 other people right now to pick up my prescription. The drive thru has been closed for literal months due to not having staff to do their jobs. This has been ongoing and each visit is at least a half hour wait just to pick up meds that are already ready. At this point I'm looking at alternatives for pharmacy needs and very strongly recommend everyone else do the same thing and steer clear of this location

DO NOT USE THE PHARMACY! This place is disgraceful. On Friday my doctor called in a new medication for my (newly)dangerously high blood pressure, 4 days later it still isn't ready. Lucky for me I haven't died or had a stroke yet. If you take life or death meds, don't let this place be in charge of filling them or you may not make it. There is no excuse for their attitudes when you question why it takes 4 days to count out 30 pills that could save someone's life. If Kroger paid their pharmacy techs more than 16.50 an hour they might get someone that can count and also be respectful even with rude customers, until then you will get disrespectful employees that aren't in any hurry to get people the meds they need to live

Since I am blind I ask for a shopper and Kroger provides this readily usually. I have used them in Indianapolis, but I have not asked my local Kroger's yet. What is good about a astute shopper is it is a Kroger employee that understands their duties and helping a blind person to shop. A good shopper will be able to describe The food that they are helping you to purchase, because not all brands are easy to discern and sometimes there are multiple varieties of similarities. And it is also good to clarify. In Indianapolis there was a few mistakes. I wanted the Cheetos jalapeño popcorn and was given the Cheetos crunchy jalapeño… Huge difference. This is a big difference when you purchase six bags of the wrong item! Lol Though the local Kroger has not given me this trouble. In person employees are usually great, customer service counter is usually blighted and could be more available. Though Kroger staff on the floor has been very, very helpful. In the past, when I did use Facebook, there were employees that are poorly trained in social manners and posting online here in New Albany, but I believe that has been rectified about a year ago. I am appreciative that Kroger is self healing and keeps their staff tiptop!

The click list is awesome.Pharmacy... well, I've been using it for a few years, and I am so tired of the cycles. It will be good for a few weeks, then back to waiting over an hour on hold for the pharmacy not to answer. My daughter needed antibiotics, and I waited a week, and it was never filled. Her doctor sent it to CVS, AND IT WAS READY THE SAME DAY! We have been on the same medication for a while, and the pharmacy never orders or has it in stock.

They were quite busy when I was shopping earlier this evening. I was in a hurry and fighting traffic to get anywhere at rush hour with the bridge closed is an absolute nightmare. I was able to do my shopping and the first thing that popped into my head was the long wait to checkout. Not only was I able to check out without waiting, not at a self service check out but with an actual cashier, but also assisting the cashier were several young gentleman assisting with bagging my groceries and putting them in the cart. It was so nice to have them speak to me, one asked how I was, how my day was going, and when they asked about my shopping experience it didn’t sound like something they have been trained to ask, it was a genuine gesture and it was nice to speak with a respectful good natured couple of teens who seemed to enjoy their job. The store was clean, well staffed as far as I could tell, and everyone seemed in good spirits even though they were stupid busy. I was amazed how quickly I was able to get in and out, still able to get all of my shopping done. I almost forgot, I had a coupon issue and thought for sure when we had to wait on a manager that this was going to be the one thing that held me up because everything was working out all too well as to how my luck usually goes But wrong I was. The manager was immediately there and had the issue solved within a minute even showing me what to do so my issue does not give me problems in the future. It has been probably 5 hours since I was at the store and I just now got the time to actually sit long enough where I could do this review, so for something I do almost daily (shop) to stay on my mind as busy as I have been, I can say im quite pleased. I feel like the staff that was there, wish I could commend them personally but they need to hear that they were awesome and they are appreciated!

I shop here every day. Everyone here is always super nice and helpful. But they need help. The lines get super long and corporate REMOVED lines in self checkout, so it can take 15-20 minutes to get through the line.

Thank you Darlene, Ed and the other young lady who helped me whose name I didn't get. Unfortunately I arrived after customer service had already closed and I couldn't find my receipt for a ham my mother wanted returned. They didn't have to help me but they did. I really appreciate it. I'm a disabled veteran with a very loud barking cough because of a military injury. I try to go when very few people are there because this cough annoys and scares people. Especially with Covid-19. Thank you again

Better than the State Street store and Meijer, but not up to the standards of a Schnucks, Publix, or Festival Foods or even a Piggly Wiggly. Can't understand why they would put Peanut butter in the aisle with school supplies at the opposite end of the store from the other groceries.

Friendly staff (shout out to Grant and the entire deli department) and if you want some thing specific and can give the manager of the specific department a description, they will actually order it for you, or do their best to find it. Best Kroger I’ve ever shopped at (they’ve taken pictures of things I previously could only get at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and after a few days, if they can, it’s stocked in that department). Really appreciate the special care and look forward to going in and having the staff ask how I’m doing…proud to call them friends!

I tried walking into the store at 9:49pm, knowing their hours have been open till 10pm post-Covid. (All I was trying to grab was a gift card, which are right up front by the checkout lanes. Wouldn’t have taken me but a few minutes.)But instead, security turned me away saying they were closed (while customers were walking out with groceries behind him.) I said, “No, like I know you close at 10pm, I just need to grab a gift card real quick.”Then they said, “Nah, we close at 9:55pm.” I just gave him this look like “We both know how you’re acting right now” and I left. For your future patrons, I suggest you update your hours here online cause if you’re having your employees push such an uncommon (and flat out petty) closing time, your advertised operating hours should say 9:55pm and not 10pm like it does here & everywhere else.Bottom line: A store shouldn’t have their employees actively turning away customers from entering their store when they are, by all means, still open.

The tickets online to see that guys from vampire diaries was a bad idea because you already know there’s gonna be underage people coming up there with other peoples IDs so that was a waste for the ones that could get the tickets. Hope hope they catch them

This is the Kroger that everyone hates, and with good reason. Long lines, empty shelves, and employees who tell you how understaffed and mistreated they are. Apparently at one time they had better management, but that management is gone now, and someone else took over. Kroger corporation is a soulless, faceless corporation who could literally not care less about my poor review. They have us over a barrel because this is still the largest grocery in New Albany, with the greatest variety. But hey... at least it's not Wal-Mart, right?

Only thing I have to complain about is my bread! I done my first pick up order, everything was great until I unloaded my bags and seen that my avocados and onions were in the same bag with my bread and my bread was underneath of all of it and got super smashed!!

Totally impressed with the store period. Coming in the main door an employee was moving a handicap cart while listening/video on his cellphone.??? Found some candles on sale I think for $1.99. At self checkout they rang up $8.99, tried getting attention of attendant but was to busy on her cellphone. This is why I normally use the full service lane. Anyway she was no help and when I asked her to clear the register she walked away. Shopping experience very poor, work ethics none existence.

The woman who was at the desk giving money orders was very rude to me today when she told me at 3:30 pm today that they were closing. That area is so unpredictable. I won't be going there for my money orders anymore because you never know when they'll be open and I end up having to run around town trying to get the money order to pay my rent. For anyone who didn't know, the post office does money orders! Skip the rudeness and uncertainty of Kroger and just go to the post office!Another thing is they block their entrances an hour before closing so you can't go in for something quick. I would also think that's a fire hazard but who am I to say.
