Would have been 5 stars but at checkout the cashier didn't know the price of the items. I understand that they have many things for sale in the store. But they could at least have some kind of item look up sheet or something instead of asking the customer to go check the price. Employees were super friendly though and I would definitely return if needed.

I’ve loved that Ace has come to town! We really didn’t have a hardware store except Orschelns and they changed their hours to something weird.We have bought paint and some handy stuff at Ace and it is so convenient now! The staff is always so nice and very helpful!

Brad, the owner, was extremely helpful!! I needed screws for the back of my TV to mount to a wall bracket. He carried my TV in the store. Found the correct size screws I needed and then carried the tv back out to my car. Top notch customer service!! Thanks Brad!!

Nice clean, hometown style hardware store. Kind of like the old general store upgraded, so far, that have the best price on propane. Everyone is always hometown friendly. Getting to be my go to place.

7 bucks higher on the same box of screws as home Depot or Lowe's. It's getting out of hand with these prices. I'll drive the extra 5 miles next time.

Mostly friendly staff, except the cashier that waited on me.It's a bit pricey but beats having to drive to Clarksville. One thing that is GREAT about the store is I can be working on a property and Google Ace Hardware Charlestown and what im looking for and it shows if they have it or not. Also, I can Google a product (paint strainers) near me and if they have it, it shows up. Overall it's a great addition to Charlestown.

Very clean and organized, well mannered staff and knowledgeable. The reason I am not giving this store a 5 star rating is because they cannot get their inventory system fixed. I am tired of driving into this store to pick up tools or furnace filters or anything else and it be out of stock or no where to be found..Keep in mind that the website says its in stock, you call and they tell you its in stock but once you get there...empty! Please fix this store owner/manager and stop wasting my time and gas money.

Wasted $50 bucks on 2 thermal couplers for a gas hot water heater that their guys said would work…they won’t take them back because the packages have been opened…well of course they opened and neither worked because they are for a gas furnace not a hot water heater!! I will never shop here again…very disappointed in this store and their know it all employees!!

Came from out of state, northern MN in fact looking for a good weed whip to handle those tuff brushy weeds up north. I found a Stihl gas power lightweight! Cant beat the price!!! The help was fabulous. Started it up made sure she was running right💪Great service! Great store!! Even had a nice chat while i was there! Thanks for the southern hospitality😎🤗

5 stars for the excellent customer service - the guys there are always fun to talk to and go out of their way to find the best value for you. Prices are hit and miss, closer to 3 stars, but I forgive them for being closer to home and top-notch employees. Their hardware section is well organized, better than any big name store. Also cool that they sell ammo now too.

Definitely want to give a shout out to the staff here, especially Carla! She went above and beyond in assisting me to try to locate a UPS tracking number that a vendor told me I had to have two stop paying for an item that was returned. I can’t think her enough for her assistance, even when their phone lines were down, she took the time to chat with me on their online chatting system.

There is a lady named Carla that works there, and she went above and beyond to help making sure my husband got his grill in time for Christmas, and when we thought it wouldn’t get here in time she tried everything possible to make it better! Tried to return a $90 broken heater I got less than a week ago and they would only let me switch it out for the same model. Even had the receipt. Incredibly rude about it too. Never shopping here again.

So happy to have Holmes Ace Hardware in Charlestown. Every time I have been in there I have found exactly what I need and then some! Grill section is a must to visit (according to my husband). The selection is amazing, grills, spices, sauces, etc. I use Holmes Ace Hardware in business and personally! Highly recommend giving them a shot. You wont be disappointed!
