I walked 1.2 mi to the store, once again, and for the 6th time, they did not have what their website presence said they had. Also for the 6th time, before leaving on the walk, I attempted to call the store to verify that the product I was looking for was in stock, and for the sixth time nobody answered. So while I was standing 5 feet from an associate inside the store, I called the store, I heard the phone ringing, and the associate never broke from stocking.I do not fault this associate, as she is more likely than not doing what she was instructed to do, including not answering the phone. I do however fault whoever else was there that didn't bother to come out and see if she needed help or answer the phone.If there was in fact no other associate in the building, I 100% fault management for two things...The security risk of having just one associate present in the building, and if she was instructed to not answer the phone.

I don’t really enjoy going to dollar general but had to stop here. Let me just say, the three gentlemen working here seemed to really enjoy their job, and had good energy all the way around. Thank you for helping my find what I needed.

This store is kept very clean and the workers are always helpful and friendly. Sometimes the checkout line gets backed up, but workers are responsive in opening a second register. Super convenient for those running between Centerville and Richmond often.

Most things I go there for are always out of stock. Poor management. Always a mess. New store but old habits. Prices are higher then Walmart most of the time. Becoming more like a convenience store then a savings store. They still have those big freight trolleys in the aisles blocking product. Bigger store but old habits of leaving it sit out in the way of merchandise. I thought that was going to change with the extra space. I guessed wrong. They need to get better management. I live about a mile and a half away and don't even shop there anymore.I would rather drive to Wal-Mart.

Dollar General is a good place to shop for your hygiene things even close to have tools I have a little bit of everything even sell some groceries that accept EBT cards and they have really great prices they could be a dollar to lower than what you would pay at Walmart aisle of the store I shop there sometimes three times a week I save all kinds of money

Entire aisles blocked to where you can’t walk down them. Very messy. I ended up just walking out and not buying anything.

Love having the store, so disorganized, can hardly get down the walkways or find things for it is a mess and has been for a long time. To bad it has gone down hill. Need the girl back that kept it nice and neat, dont know her name but she was moved to another store. So sad because we really like having this store close by since we do not have one.

Hey, it's Dollar General. Store is a bit cluttered. But probably not enough staff to tend checkout AND put stock away. I go early afternoons and usually get in & out quickly.

Great business, not crowded. Many variety of items in store. Clothing, household, food, tools, car, pets. Great prices. Pleasant staff with fast service.

A great place to stop for household staples and last minute forgotten items. The staff is generally friendly. The only down side is the place is consistently busy. Some days there are not even parking spots.

Great store for quick and long shopping trips. Clean environment, great customer service, and a substantial variety of items for food and household. They could use more staff, other than that I'm completely satisfied with this store.

I m in Centerville.If I cannot find something in the store there is always someone who is staff who very graciously helps me.Clean place and the staff is very friendly.

Staff are great at their job and very friendly. As for the location itself, the bathroom is hardly available due to lack of maintenance, and getting out of the parking can be cumbersome during certain hours.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure they are charging you the right prices on stuff, especially sale items. I avoid D.G. at all costs. On the rare occasions when I absolutely cannot go all the way into town to Walmart or Dollar Tree, and instead go to D.G., every single time especially at the Centerville location; every time (literally every single time) when I get rung up prices are wrong. If you aint watching, you get all the way home n see you got ripped off big time. Some of the employees are nice n some just dont care, but almost all seem uninterested in customer service.

Very messy. Prices are good and staff is nice but the place needs work. Couldn't get to half the things I wanted due to stock piled up in front of shelves.

The location is convenient. It's great to just buzz down the road for whatever I may need. I can find just about whatever I need in a pinch. The store is clean, the selection is good, and the employees are friendly.

Conveniently located but never has what I need. Also REALLY need to have both registers open during peak hrs!!!! And needs a stop light there! I dk how many times ive been or witnessed several near misses!

Most items were in stock. Store is close to home and smaller than the large mega stores and it is easier to shop at Dol Gen since I have trouble walking.

When I do go to Dollar general it's always a good experience I've been there when packed and when not and they are always nice polite. Overall very nice

We went in for one item. The place was packed. The line was all the way down the aisle with greeting cards. There was only one cashier and it took about 20 minutes to get to the register. Very displeased.
