Whole beef was processed here,Put order in.Picked up and got it home, going thru everythingDid not get my short ribs, roasts were sliced, porterhouse steaks weren't cut, all tbones, called and complained, they said my order didn't specifically say short ribs, roasts intact, or porterhouse steaks intactMy number one complaint was that they did not explain their options, or cuts, did not as questions.Second complaint. Did not get my short ribs. So I asked what happened to the short ribs? They were gone, aka kept for themselves to sell for profit, rest of my meat was cut and included differently.

Been buying pork from them for years but the last 2 hogs we bought were not that good. Bacon was extremely dry and completely fell apart when taken out of the package and had no taste when cooked. Sausage just taste like ground pork, no sausage taste at all. Seems like everything else now days, price goes up and quality goes down.

This place is awesome! They have a huge variety of fresh and frozen meats. Everything from a full cow to a single pound of sausage. You can't beat their prices when it comes to ground beef which is very lean.

It's worth driving from a distance for the quality meat they have. When meat is half the cost and tastes better than meat you find in any box store it's a no brainier for me. I'll stock my freezer from here as long as they're in business! I live in Indianapolis, but have family in southern Indiana. Thanks again for great service, prices, and most of all meat.

Every community needs a shop like this. I live about an hour away but the guy I get my beef from sends his cows here. Well run place, super clean. What stands out is the huge selection of meat and products available to anyone who wants to come in off the street and ship. I've been to other meat processors who have a little cooler you can get a little something out of, but Sander has tons of products packaged for purchase; ground beef, ground pork, ribs, butts, chicken wings, etc. Everything is of the best quality and the prices are a steal, with frequent sales as well. I love seeing a bunch of young kids running around working in the store. Everyone does a great job. Sometimes I make the hour drive just to shop. Good stuff, much appreciated

I sent 4 steers to them the hamburger came back to me less than 70/30 also had 1/4 inch chunks of fat in them they supposedly ground my roasts ect they blamed it on internal fat i blame it on internal all right.

Bought a half a cow, worked out to a great price, but they ground up the burger to an almost minced state when I requested a course grind. Came to about 100# of burger, and the roasts and steaks were great.Meats were from the Miller's Farm, no hormones and free range. Happy carnivore I am.

For years I have taken my deer to the same butcher or bought un-claimed meat from them. This year my partner recommended Sanders and I decided to take a chance. I'm not one for change. I will say this, the summer sausage is the best I have EVER tasted. The turnaround for returning my meat was a 10. I always a minimum of a month to get mine back before and at the old butcher, you didn't get "your" deer with I know the summer sausage. He mixed it all together and you get what you get. The packaging was a 10 as well compared to my old place. I will be taking my deer here from now on and highly recommend to everyone.

When I arrived their parking lot was full. I thought I would be there for some time. Everyone was busy but you could tell they all knew what they were doing. It was actually a joy to watch. What a well oiled operation. I will definitely return to Sander Prosessing again. It was enjoyable 😉

My favorite place to take deer to be processed. They season the meat perfect and you get more meat back than other places I've been to. They are very reasonable on price too and everything I've ever gotten from them is so yummy!!!! I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

We have been taking our deer here for about 10 years now. They have a fast turn around and the price is not bad. I usually get one deer ground meat, and one made into Summer Sausage with pepperjack cheese added to it. They freezer wrap and package the meat better than any other processing place we have ever used. My only compaint would be that sometimes they are backed up on dropping deer off. Not beacuse they are slow, but because apparently they are as good as I think they are and just have high amounts of deer to process. I will continue to use them. ALSO, they take donations, so if you do not want a deer you can donate the meat there.Update: they now charge 120 dollars from last years 90. Made 2 trips because they wasn't taking deer until noon which meant we had to drive a extra 2 hours. Called to see if my deer was done and they said yes, they said to pick it up that day and I said I'll be up the next day. I get there and they couldn't find my deer and told me it just got finished and wasnt even frozen yet. I paid for frozen, not to mention if I would have showed up when they said it was done it would had been a wasted trip because it wasnt done. We are now looking for another processor. My family was really saddened to see a good place go bad in a years time.

On August 25, 2017, I picked up a hind quarter of beef that I had processed at Sander Processing, Celestine, IN. I ordered NY Strips, Roasts and Hamburger, but what I receive was T-Bones, Round steak, and hamburger (round steak! really?). My first thought: Was I given someone else's meat?I called Sander Processing and informed them of the mistake. I was told the brother who took my order would not be available for a few days and for me to call back, and at that time they would "make-it-right".After contacting Sander's the second time, I was asked to bring the meat back to Sander's and they would thaw the meat, grind the round steaks in to hamburger, cut the bone off the T-bones, and then after processing the meat the second time, they would finish with re-freezing the meat.So, "Making-It-Right" entails removing the vacuum-sealed packaging, thawing the pre-processed meat, processing the meat a second time, and re-freezing the re-processed meat.Re-freezing meat not only affects the quality due to the moisture lost through thawing, but it also adds risks for contamination.So much for customer expectations.But even with the discouraging incident above, I must admit Sander has the best spicy sausage I've ever tasted
