I come here often for dinner when the kids and I are on the run. They are usually fairly quick and the staff is good when it comes to getting the order correct. The food has gone a little downhill, but it's all the same at every DQ, well almost everywhere. Prices are continuing to rise and quality continues to go down or portions get smaller. In all if you are looking for fast food I recommend coming here. Their chicken strip basket is delish, and they have the best ranch! Their cheese curds are way better than Culvers as well. If you are looking for a decent deal, they have a $7 value meal that is pretty decent as well.

I ordered a chili cheese dog and fries and 2 kids meals. My chili dog was disgusting, the bun was chewy and the chili looked liked they scrapped the bottom of a pot that was sitting for a long time. My food went in the garbage. Went to get the kids free cone and I wanted a small cone as well. The cashier rang me up for a sundae and I said something to another employee so they gave me back the difference but the cashier brought me a plain sundae. I ate it but I really love the cones. It was an accident charging me wrong but you would think they would tell the person making the ice cream that it was supposed to be a cone.

This was horrible like fr hand some one a box of food colder then the weather out side and exspeshaly some one that's worked for fast food u guys left this box of food bye the window or somewhere else food that someone didn't want or u acsadently made and didn't wanna throw out but let me tell u if I get sick I'm not gonna be happy and I learned when I was working that u cant hold food past an hour and this was held past a hour tastes like two hours please get new workers ccause this is geting horrible this has never happened to me before and I'm a regular customer

We have dined in and have ordered food from this location many, many times. My family loves DQ...food and ice cream, and with a family of 6, we spend quite a bit.I went to the drive thru on July 7th around 3:30. I had one truck in front of me and we waited there for a good 5 minutes before anyone even took his order. I pulled up and ordered (3) 6pc Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Baskets (no drinks) and a 3 PC chicken strip meal deal. I told her the sauces and drink i wanted. She didnt ask what kind of sundae I wanted, so I added that in as well. The girl taking my order acted as if she was new and didn't know what she was doing. When we pulled up the window, I gave a girl my card and she handed me the receipt. I noticed the receipt just said (3) 6pc baskets for $9.29 each, but didn't specify honey bbq. I also noticed she charged me extra for a large drink with my $7 meal (the drink is supposed to be included) I told them the baskets are supposed to be honey bbq. She said ok. Then another girl came to the window and said "ok, that is going to be $6.67 to make them all bbq". I said, "$6.67 to make the 3 baskets bbq?" The menu says $9.29 for the regular 6pc and $9.79 for the bbq. So it should have been like $1.50 + tax. She was about to charge me almost what another basket would be. So when I questioned it, she said, "I have to charge you for the sauce." She repeated it 3x. I said , "I understand the bbq is extra as we order it all the time, but the menu states a $.50 cent difference each, not $6+"She said, "well I didn't hear you order the bbq, so if you want BBQ, you have to pay the difference." I said, "I will pay the difference, but not $6+." She came back with, "okay I got it down to $3.67." I said, "no that's still not right, but said okay, then take the $1 extra you charged me for the large drink, I didn't order." She then proceeded to say, "okay, then give the drink back." By then, we had already waited 20 min, so I said, "you know what, take the drink, my Sundae, cancel my order and refund my card." Sat there another 10 min and still hadn't been given my card back. I finally go inside and they still hadn't figured out how to issue a refund. I asked to speak with a manager, and the girl said, she is trying to get your refund. The manager didn't know how to issue a refund. The girl that took my order and messed up was the manager. She was also the one that wanted to charge me $6.67 to add sauce to my chicken strips. All the girls there acted like they had no clue what they were doing. I finally got my card back, but the "manager" wasn't able to talk to me. Sad to say, but I don't think I will be back to this location. Something so simple, that should have been taken care of differently. The "manager" should have said, "I'm so sorry, I didn't hear your order correctly" and just made it right.

Disappointed, I ordered n flamethrower with no tomatoes and lettuce, mainly asked for no tomatoes because my husband gets sick when he eats the seeds from them. But we givin with everything on it. I forgot to check before leaving and when I dropped it off at my husband's work he told me it had tomatoes n lettuce. So I called dairy queen. Asking if I can get another one if I bring this one back that doesn't have tomatoes and lettuce. Was told no that all I could get was 10% off my next order even thought the flame thrower had to go to trash now because of tomatoes seeds. Just felt really disappointed that u pay around 8$ for n burger and can't get it right and unable to fix it after l leaving.

I wanted to fill out the survey from my receipt, but I have misplaced the receipt so I figured this was the next best route.A few weeks ago I visited this Dairy Queen drive thru with my daughter. We ordered our food (rotisserie chicken bites & two Blizzards) & pulled up to the window to pay. The girl at the window handed me our ice cream & we waited just a few minutes for the chicken bites. When the employee handed me the box of bites, we both lost our grip & the box fell to the ground. As this happened I accidentally let my foot off the brake & started to roll forward a bit, so I quickly put my foot on the brake. She apologized & told me they would remake the chicken bites & asked me to pull forward & someone would bring it out to me when it was ready. Well… I took my foot off the brake to pull forward and my car would not move! Cars were piling up behind me & I started to panic. I apologized profusely to the girls working & explained that my car wouldn’t go anywhere. They were so incredibly kind & sweet, assuring me there was nothing to be sorry for as I texted my husband to try & figure out what to do. They started walking orders out to the cars behind me. I felt so bad!! A quick Google search led me to try something & thankfully it worked. I let the girl know & then pulled my car forward to wait for the rest of our order. A few minutes later one of the girls came out & handed me a small vanilla cone & said she was sorry for the wait & she hoped my night would get better. I don’t know the names of the girls that worked that night - they were insanely kind & patient! I appreciated them so much. So yesterday I went through the drive thru & gave $5 Dunkin gift cards to the manager named Ashley to give to the girls that were on shift that night. They really deserve to be recognized for their excellent customer service & understanding. Ashley is also incredibly kind & deserves praise as well! She made me feel so appreciated for recognizing the work of her employees. She’s awesome! Also… the food & ice cream has always been great from this location! Thank you, DQ!

Never had an issue here. The line is usually pretty long, but they have never gotten my order wrong. So I don't mind the wait!The workers are always super friendly every single time we go.And the food is good. It's my kids number one choice when. I ask where they want to eat!!

They are consistent. If you want the order "your way" check it before you leave. Most employees are really good about this but there are a couple employees who are very lazy about this. I recommend this restaurant just watch out for the lazy ones. Happy eating

Sat at the order screen for 10mins. Honked my horn, watched the truck ahead of me sit at the window for the 10mins, then pulled up. There I placed my order FINALLY. The cashier did give me 10% off, but had me park ahead to wait "full time on burger to cook" while I watched MULTIPLE other cars get their items and go.Recommend burger King even though it is nasty, subway and "eat fresh" lol, or any other place over this location!

We ordered some food including a side salad with French dressing and some pretzel sticks. We were handed our two bags and the side salad was given to us separately (not in a bag). We got the food home and there was no dressing in the bags or a fork to eat the salad with. Normally pretzel sticks come with cheese on the side, but we also didn't get that. This wouldn't be bad if these things had happened individually, but I would say three mistakes in one order is pretty bad. I've eaten here before and it hadn't been as bad so that is why I didn't give it less stars.

The toast is my favorite part of the meal and I did not receive any this time!! I didn’t realize until I got to my home in another town. I called to see what we can do and my only option was to drive all the way back to cedar lake to revive what I originally and rightly paid for.. pretty sad about this situation really. I even asked if I can just get toast a different day but it apparently “doesn’t work like that”. Not to mention the chicken strips were half the size as usual. More like slightly longer nuggets..

Dairy Queen is easily one of the most underrated fast food joints. Fries, burgers, pretzels, all excellent. And if you want some distinctly southern fare, get their chicken strips and gravy to dip them in. Absolutely does not disappoint!

Just a friendly heads up to anyone that wants to work in this place. The employees are not as friendly as they look. They may like you at the beginning but if you make little mistake. They will make up some kind a story about you and make you FIRED

I only give it three stars as I ordered a sundae with nuts and they added a bunches of peanuts. I was expecting chopped up mixed nuts not peanuts. Wont order that again.

Extremely slow service… They messed up my burger so I waited for that then they never gave me my banana split or my cone so I had to continue to wait for that.. They don’t take rewards so if your planing on using them guess again plus they don’t offer dine in move on to st John they have done in available at that one

Came here on a lunch break, my partners order got completely forgotten, I finished my meal and when his hadn't come we knew something had happened, luckily he had his receipt or they wouldn't have given him his food. They couldn't remember by seeing him that he had just placed an order 10 minutes ago?

Yummmmmm... Great ice cream.Just got home from staying at Saugatuck Cottage Suites in beautiful Saugatuck, Michigan.Was visiting my friend in Cedar Lake and grabbed this ice cream from Dairy Queen on the way to his place. Tottaly devoured this delicious ice cream cone while taking in the fresh air out on the dock.Highly recommend.

Good food and very clean. The staff here is exceptional. I never see them just standing around and talking, they are always working on meals, cleaning equipment, even cleaning the parking lot.
