It's not too often I write reviews, whether it be due to laziness or just not inspired enough to write about that specific business. Cayuga Hardware, however, is different, so much so that I felt the need to take time out of my day to write about it.The folks at Cayuga Hardware are truly one-of-a-kind. I had a DIY project last weekend that I made two separate trips to Menards for. Neither time was I given correct information, and ended up being an all-day project when it should have taken 30 mins, tops. Left a really sour taste in my mouth. This weekend was going to be an even bigger project, and of course, I ran into an issue that was going to require a part. Roger immediately came to help me once he was done ringing up his customers, and found me the part I needed immediately.But it didn't stop there. I had a nightmare scenario (thanks to my house's previous owners) that I really wasn't sure how to solve. I went to Cayuga Hardware and attempted to explain it again to Roger, with zero luck, so I got my father-in-law on the phone. We attempted to explain the situation, and he stayed silent the entire time, and eventually just said "okay, no problem!". He hung up and took 2 mins to get me all the parts I needed.That level of personal touch and expertise is something you will NEVER find at a big-box store. I highly recommend checking out Cayuga Hardware next time you have a DIY project. I know I will. Thank you again.

Great to have locally . Might be a little bit higher cost but beats 30min plus trip each way to a big box store . Happy to support the local economy.

I highly recommend Cayuga Hardware for all your do-it-yourself and renovation project needs. It has a huge selection from lawn and garden supplies to paint, housewares and everything in between so you can easily get everything you need under one roof.
