Others have mentioned that the staff/workers in the store can be moody or rude, and I definitely experienced that. It got really weird to the point where I left. It's also a small store, without much selection, and the prices are not the best, either. I wanted to like this place, but with a rude staff, a Petco 2 min away, and Kroger in walking distance, there is just no reason. Nope.

I carefully checked their website for the time they closed on Sundays which is 6 pm. I brought my dog for a wash at 5 pm and was told they close the dog wash an hour before closing.This should have been clearly shown on their website.

Great sure with friendly and helpful staff. Self-service dog wash station was quickly prepared after the last customer. Our doggos first bath was a mess of undercoat so we left a good tip for the cleanup.

I would like to compliment the Manager, Jacob for his excellent customer service that he provides us as new customers. Jacob is always a phone call away for our pet questions and needs. In 2014 we were sold expired cat food — we didn’t even know cat food expired at that time. My 4 year old cat developed fatty liver and died. The company “couldn’t find the serial number” and denied liability. We will never shop at Specks again.

Was in town for the night and needed something for a wound on my dog’s tail. The staff members I encountered on the phone and in store were so helpful and genuine. Browsed around and they had a great selection of products across the board.

DO NOT USE DOG WASH brought o iuR a Golden retriever in for a dog wash - there was dog hair all over from prior customers. ( on the floor, in the tub, brushes on table filled with hair) The shampoo and conditioner was diluted so much it didn’t even clean our dog!When they asked how it was I was honest - told them it didn’t look cleaned after last customer, the shampoo diluted etc.. the guy openly admitted the dilute all the shampoo and conditioner. On top of it the check out clerk was rude and condescending.- total disrespect and poor customer service.I will NEVER go back and I highly recommend you drive to a Pet People instead

I went in for a bag of dog food, I had my dog who's still a puppy with me. I asked the young guy working if they had eagle pack food, he took me right to the food , then I went to grab the bag I wanted and he said let me get that , which was nice since my dog is still alittle crazy . Bought the food and then he offered to carry it out.This was about 2 weeks ago
