Any time we are near here we have to stop in because our 3 yr old loves the fish 🤷‍♂️ so we go and enjoy looking at all the animals they have there. We also purchase items here for our cats and dogs and the prices are competitive.

I sat and listened to one of their cashiers tell a new dog owner that they shouldn’t trust any of the diets their vet recommends. Instead, they should buy a $100 bag of boutique food because it’s “better”. I had no idea that Petco employees were board certified veterinary nutritionists. He was recommending a food that has been proven to cause heart problems in dogs due to it not meeting the required nutritional standards. I do not believe someone that has 0 education in animal nutrition should be giving deathly advice to innocent pet parents. Would you ask a janitor to perform brain surgery?

Was very disappointed, I went in there to buy 1 gold fish and 1 sucker fish(algae eater) and they refused to sell me anything because I "only had a 55 gallon tank" that's ridiculous! They had well over 20 goldfish in one small container and I couldn't tell you how many algae eaters in one small container that was nowhere near 55 gallons. I don't know how they can refuse service to people wanting to buy fish!?

I love Petco. It's always clean and my dog used to be very shy as a puppy, but with Petco's employees saying hi to him and getting down to his level (he's a Shih Tzu so not very tall lol) he's become very confident in himself. He loves walking through the aisles and checking out the aquariums. The staff is always personable and happy to help. One of my friends lives in Westfield and she makes me drive her to this one because she calls it "the good pet store."

(UN) HAPPY RETURNS- I didn't go to Petco for my pet needs this time. I went because they are listed as a participant in "Happy Returns" a drop off location for returning online orders from various retailers. Though the staff was helpful and empathetic, they were unable to provide the service due to a lack of proper requisite materials. Just go to FedEx around the corner. They have the right stuff. Sorry, Petco.

I usually enjoy shopping at this Petco. It’s always very clean & the staff is always polite. Just a recommendation to keep your feeder insects dated correctly and for all intents & purposes, alive! It stinks to walk into your local pet store and you have zero micro feeders because about 20+ containers are all loaded with necrotic insects. We can’t feed our reptiles that.

Went to pickup items for my rats some food, bedding, etc. this location had very little bedding & tunnel options for hamsters herbals rats ferrets etc so I had to settle for something but the food I needed was in stock & that was the most important thing. Staff was nice checkout process was slow but not the cashiers fault seemed like they might have just been short staffed

I was happy when I went to the vet clinic located within the petco on Crawfordsville Rd. They actually got us in that day. So I had to make the next appt online since they aren’t vets always at the same location. The soonest one was of course a 30 minute drive and there was no vets there or were going to be there anytime soon. So I’m not real happy about the whole experience with the second time. She wouldn’t even help me to find out where they were exactly. However the employees From the first visit were all so nice professional and quick to get your pet seen, if you have an appointment that is. The prices were not too expensive. Thanks again for seeing us that day even without an appointment.

Petco is OK. Prices are decent, but help is sometimes hard to come by here. I've found if you're looking for something out of the ordinary (we keep reptiles, for example) the staff isn't as knowledgeable as they really should be for working in a pet store that carries reptiles. I mostly come here because it's convenient to home.

I'm a planted aquarium guy, and box stores get a lot of negative comments about how they fail to properly care for their fish (and rightly so in most stores I've been in). However, this store has a great fish dude, Caleb. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and takes good care of the tanks. At this point, he's one of my buds!For you cat people, Paws on my Heart take GREAT care of the kitties.Come check them out, worth the drive.

I mean, it's a big-box animal store. Good prices, animals seemed decently cared for but I'd rather go to a specialty store to buy live stuff. Great feeder (crickets, frozen rodents, frozen fish foods, etc) selection which is mostly what I go for.

Always a great experience at Petco, but I wanted to give them a huge pat on the back for today. I don’t usually go on Saturdays and even though the store was very busy I still received amazing customer service. I needed some grooming supplies as my pup just discovered her love for water. Brian in grooming stopped what he was doing to help me pick out the supplies that worked best for my pup. The cashiers still took time to interact with my pup and give her a treat! Great work to the entire team!

This is the second time I have taken my dog to get a hair cut at Petco and ended up with a hair cut I did not ask for my dog. The groomers seem to think they get to decide what would look best for the dog, instead of following very easy instructions from the owner/paying customer. Unacceptable.
