Our family got a new puppy in November and before getting the puppy my husband and I agreed that training was a must if we were going to make this commitment! We started Josie in the beginner course at EternalK9 right away and couldn’t believe how quickly she made progress! She has since graduated that program and we were so happy with Eternal and all of the success we had with their program that we now have her enrolled in the advanced class! Molly and her team are extremely knowledgeable in so many areas and have been very helpful and patient! They take the time to make sure you know what you’re doing and are confident with the new skills being taught at each lesson so that way you are able to successfully complete the homework they assign you each time. They not only show you what to do but the explain the reasoning behind the methods. A puppy is a huge commitment, but because of the training and help we have received and are still receiving from Molly and her team we have been successful and are happier than ever with our sweet Josie girl!

Molly and Kenzie excel as dog trainers, showing immense care, passion, and expertise. Their communication is exceptional and easily comprehensible. After a disappointing experience at another training facility, Kylo's transformation under their guidance has been remarkable. He's become a more obedient and manageable companion, greatly improving the lives of my little girls. Additionally, their advice on nutrition has significantly enhanced Kylo's skin health, for which I'm immensely grateful.

if i could give more than 5 stars, i would. my german shepherd has trained with molly and her staff since he was a tiny puppy. we have done basic training, advanced training, and protection work. each stage has developed him into a better dog, and our relationship is so solid and special because of it. the training is clear and simple — and it WORKS. molly has 100% mastered dog training while simultaneously having an immense amount of knowledge on all things dog health/feeding/behavior. the EK9 staff quickly learns problematic areas in your dogs behavior and always know an effective fix. i am here to tell you this is a BEYOND perfect place for you to take your dog for any single thing you might need help with. i have absolutely fallen in love with training my dog because of eternal k9!

I highly recommend Eternal K9 for any of your dog training needs. They do a phenomenal job working with your dog and teaching you techniques to continue training at home since consistency and accountability is key. Each lesson is tailored to your needs and I saw improvement with our boxer after just one lesson. Molly (the owner/trainer) is very knowledgeable about breeds, behaviors, and training. She’s been training dogs for a long time and it shows with her success. Eternal K9 is the best and you will not be disappointed!

In December 2022 my husband and I brought home Gryffin, our Golden Retriever x Irish Setter puppy. We decided to put him through a positive reinforcement training in January at another place and he did ok with commands but he was just way over excited and wanted to see the other dogs (it was a group class which also wasn’t great) so much that he was not listening or paying attention to us. After completing that training, I almost felt as if we got no progress done. We didn’t realize what a hard dog we were getting! I was overwhelmed and had the puppy blues so badly, constantly wondering if we made a mistake. Growing up I had a Boxer who was reactive and I saw familiar signs in Gryffin, and was afraid that he could end up the same way if we didn’t do something about it. We decided to give Eternal K9 a try in February. We started obedience classes with Susanna and she was so knowledgeable and friendly! I always looked forward to his training lessons because it helped build my confidence handling him. I needed to know that everything would turn out ok and she was good at giving reassurance, and validation that Gryffin IS a really hard dog and it’s ok not to like him sometimes 🤣 Susanna is a good problem solver and had an answer for every question I had. We put Gryffin in a Board and train at the end of April, and had him trained on the e-collar. He had issues with being possessive especially with food, being very pushy and demanding, and didn’t know how to relax. After his board and train, he improved so much. We did a lesson here and there after that to keep his training up and we put him in a second board and train last week. We picked him up yesterday and he has been doing well so far. He will turn 1 on the 17th and I think he is pretty well behaved for a 1 year old. We get compliments on his behavior whenever we take him places. He still has a ways to go, but we would be afraid to know where we would be today if we didn’t try Eternal K9. We can’t thank Molly, Susanna & trainers enough for everything they have done to help Gryffin and all the hard work they put in to training dogs and their handlers to be the best versions of themselves. If you have the puppy blues like I did and are getting to the end of your rope, please give Eternal K9 a try.

Susanna worked with all three of my dogs and was incredible! She was very knowledgeable and taught me (and my dogs) so much! I have a pretty diverse pack, all reactive in different ways, and she tailored their lessons to their individual needs. She helped the dogs work through issues they were having, and gave us lots of ways to continue building their confidence even after we were finished with our lessons. Since finishing the basic lessons, my dogs are like different dogs, we can not thank Susanna and Eternal K9 enough for what they’ve done for the dogs. We will recommend Eternal K9 time and time again for anyone needing training for their dogs!

Hands down the best dog training I have been too. After the first session my dog was listening tons better and wanted to keep learning. Eternal K9 worked around my busy schedule and answered any and all questions! I also did the board and train for a week with the e-collar. Life changing. We will be back for maintenance training. We came to Molly and Eternal K9 with concerns of needing to re-home our husky, Frisco due to him being uncomfortable with the newly mobile phase of our son. Molly and the Eternal K9 crew worked with Frisco through board and train to give him the structure and boundaries he needed and in turn for us as a family as well to be able to keep both of our boys happy, safe, and content at home! I started taking my German Shepard puppy to eternal k9when he was just 9 weeks old for beginner obedience training. It was a wonderful experience. The trainers are very professional and knowledgeable and the facilities are spotless. Gunner and I have gone on to complete advanced obedience, beginning scent work and are going in now to more advanced training in scent, and K9 therapy work. Gunner is only 9 months old and weighs in at 95 pounds but I can take him anywhere and be confident that he will be a gentleman. I feel like the sky is the limit with this guy largely due to the training that he has received at Eternal K9. Thank you so much Molly and staff❤️

Molly was amazing in helping me with my 90lb Pittbull rescue Max. Max already had basic training, so I needed Eternal K9 to help me with his jumping, pulling and attention/focus. I live in Chicago and the distractions for Max on the city streets are everywhere. With what he was taught in the week with Eternal K9 and the keeping up with it at home, Max is much improved. I am a Doberman breeder and whenever a home asks for a trainer, I recommend Molly. Over the years I have lost count of how many of my puppy homes have used Molly for training and EVERY SINGLE person was blown away by the service they received. From young pups to “problem” dogs… Molly has it all covered. I have even sent a dog to Molly that was a repossession due to his aggressive behavior. I was certain nothing will work to save him but had to try everything before making the call no breeder ever wants to make. After Molly was done with him, he was unrecognizable and is now living a super happy and aggression free life in his new home. Molly and her family also own one of my puppies and have been one of the most amazing homes I could’ve ever asked for. Cannot recommend Eternal K9 enough!!!! I cannot recommend Eternal K9 enough! My 6-year-old Jack Russell, Rocky, was aggressive and biting people before their two-week board and train. The results are nothing short of amazing – Rocky is now calm, doesn’t bark, and has undergone a complete transformation. Despite initial doubts from friends about training an older dog, the changes are so profound that friends now say they would pay double for the results. Taking Rocky to public places is now a joy, and strangers often compliment his docile behavior. I’ve used other training companies & had never been successful. Once my Dobermans got too big, I was unable to walk them. With my new puppy, we decided to try eternal k9 and I’m so thankful we did. My puppy & I learned so much. My dog and I feel like a team now & it is all thanks to our training. Susanna was so smart & helpful, she never made me feel bad for not knowing what to do. My sister and I got new puppies at the beginning of the year and decided to train them with Molly from EternalK9. From the very first moment I could tell Molly has a true gift for training dogs. She commands the room and the dogs listen. She is confident and very knowledgeable. Molly is great at training the dogs as well as teaching the owner how to train their dog. I just finished a one week board and train and my puppy seems more confident and better behaved. I started going to lessons when my puppy was 10 weeks old and I am so glad I did. Molly is teaching proper behavior to my puppy from the get go instead of trying to unteach bad habits (although she is great at correcting those bad habits as well). I highly recommend EternalK9!

Molly and her team have worked wonders for our dog. He’s tends to be leash aggressive and reactive towards other dogs. This is something we’ve been working on with him for a while. We’ve even worked with other trainers in the past, but didn’t see any progress and sort of gave up hope. But Molly and her team have gone above and beyond! He’s made so much progress in his reactivity and he’s more confident in social situations than he was before!

Highly recommend Eternal K9! My dog Maya and I did the 6 week basic training course with Susanna and we are so happy with the results. She went from anxious and unsure, to confident and ready to work. Susanna was such a pleasure to work with, and really pushed Maya to her full potential. She tailored the sessions to Maya’s needs and focused on what she needed work on most. Can not recommend Susanna enough. We will be back with our other two dogs as well for basic training, and then the advanced lessons!

Eternal K9 is the best dog training around!! I adopted Sunny in July of 2020. She was a very challenging puppy from the day we got her. One of our friends suggested Molly. Sunny went for a week board and train. She came back a totally different dog. Molly is extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors. She not only taught Sunny how to be a better dog but also taught us how to be better owners. I know if I had any issues with Sunny I could call her and she wouldquickly respond.

I'm about halfway through my first lesson package (6 week course) with Molly and Kensi. I've been bringing my two dogs in the past month. These ladies are two of the most capable people I've met. Kensi is tough and firm while still being respectful and gentle of your pet, she's fantastic and trustworthy. Molly knows everything and has helped outline a plan for sustained success. She was able to get the correct training tools in my hands(climb, herm springer collar, and e collar). They also have a great store with high value treats thst are actually safe for consumption, my dogs especially love the dried rabbit heads.I had an unique situation with one of the dogs. He is a working German Sheperd who was neglected then dumped in Gary where I ultimately found him. He has extreme anxiety and is non stop tailbiting and chasing. He's bitten my gf as well as myself. He fought my other dog for food and has just in general an out of control menace. This dog needed all the help and patience in the world. He's easily been one of the most difficult dogs I've rescued the past decade.Through the hard work of Kensi, we were able to make significant progress with only 1 lesson that is an hour length. Since then things have only improved. I am hopeful that soon he will be socialized and well behaved. The training methods they utilize are top notch, the boys respond to everything immediately. Their overall tempermant and behavior at home as well as in public is greatly improved.Both dogs are gaining confidence with each week. The work Eternal K9 has done with my boys is a huge lifesaver. Their improved behavior has improved my home life. Less fights, less mess, less stress. The change is night and day. I recommend anyone reading this to book lessons immediately. I'm hopeful to continue to work with them as the GSD is going to need quite a bit more rehab as well as a job soon. Thank you again Eternal K9!

Molly and Rod did a great job with Max, and me! He's over 8 and I got him last year as a rescue. He is a large dog and can be difficult to handle. Their calm and consistent training has been a great help. I had thought about rehoming him, but he is much much better now and I'm happy with the results. I cannot say enough good things about Eternal K9! Spring 2021 is when we welcomed our Catahoula Leopard Dog, Sprite, into the family. I quickly realized that I was going to need assistance with training her. Before we started working with Molly, Sprite was a handful! After working together for 6 weeks I left the Eternal K9 training program with a completely different dog. My dog also left with a handler that is confident and capable! Eternal K9 is literally changing lives one dog and handler at a time.

I highly recommend Eternal K9 for dog training! Susanna and Molly are incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful communicators. I have a seven month old lab who is anxious, barks at everything (including small children) and needed a lot of help in general. After a one hour private lesson, I gained control I’d never had in my dog training attempts. I decided to do a one week board and train. Our pup was taught with the ecollar and we now have complete freedom to walk her off leash without fear that she will run away or approach a stranger or another dog. Her recall went from unreliable to consistent. She stays in her place for as long as I ask her too. She’s great on leash and can do a ‘no-sniff’ walk with ease. While she’s still an anxious dog, which may just be a part of her personality, we now have tools and a method to help her through her nervousness and correct her behavior. This training was 100% tailored to my dog and her needs. All of my questions were answered fully and without judgment. Even though we live in Chicago and it’s a hike to New Carlisle, it is worth it! We will be back for refresher lessons. I simply can’t thank Eternal K9 enough for giving us the knowledge we desperately needed to take care of our dog.
