The receptionist that answers is very unfriendly and quick to hang up with you, she isn't able to give you any suggestions or possibly point you towards services for your pet that can tell city and cannelton have no options for your Animals besides figure it out for yourself so unless your wealthy and able to pay hundreds of dollars and transportation to travel A good distance then I'd suggest not getting a animal in perry co. They are never taking new patients and could care less about your Pets and you're definitely on your own!!!!!!👎Forced Me to give 1 +🌟⬇️-🌟 -🌟 -🌟- 🌟 -🌟 there's your 5!!!!!

I feel good about taking my cats & dogs to Dr. Schoene. He is an older gentleman who comes across as gruff, but I and the animals respect him. My stubborn 16-year-old cat hangs on to every word and does what he asks of her! He treats only what they need to be treated for. He is straightforward in his instructions and honest in his pricing. He & his staff are sympathetic during the end-of-life decision, which makes it a little less stressful. I hope we never have to go to another veterinarian 🐾

Best animal hospital in the area. Although it's a few miles away in Cannelton IN, their staff is very knowledgeable, service is fast and rates are very good. No one in Owensboro could match ot top my experenices.

The best vet in town. He is all about caring for your pets not just taking your money. Very affordable unlike the the other vets. He has been caring for my pets for more than 20 years. I high recommend County Wide Animal Clinic.

I had to make the very hard decision to euthanize my beloved pet. Everyone I dealt with at County Wide today was absolutely caring, understanding and comforting. I have never received that level of care at any other vet's office. I dont think we will ever own another dog but if we do, we have a new vet to go to. Highly recommend.

I’m extremely happy that, I found this place!I have 3 German Shepherds and was so nervous about leaving our last clinic of almost 5 years due to the horrible customer service you would receive by the staff.EVERYONE at County wide is friendly and it’s just awesome... Very clean and the prices can’t be beat!Love this place❤️They make getting meds refilled easy and the appointments are always fast.Great Vet and staff.It’s nice to see a clinic where the staff is a team and so friendly and helpful.

I recently moved from central Indiana to Kentucky and was worried about finding a new, reliable vet for my fur baby. Lady, aka Buggy is a Jack Russell/Rat terrier mix and just turned 13, so you can understand that I want the best of care for her. I was very pleased with my first visit. Very nice building, all the staff is very personable and professional, and costs are very reasonable. My baby girl was very well taken care of. I highly recommend County Wide Animal Clinic. I want to thank all the staff for taking such good care of my best friend and little sidekick. 🐶

Very affordable and treats animals great but the lady that works there is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a personal setting. I was not told they don't take card up front then she was very rude to me and my husband. He had to run to an ATM which was no problem but there is no reason to ever talk to people the way she does.

Most affordable option out there....The doc is great, the staff is great, and the money is MORE than fair. I bring all my animals here, as do most our family members. We bring them all the way from Owensboro to see this clinic. You can't go wrong whether it's a checkup or surgery! Thanks guys!

Absolute worse experience I have had with a veterinarian office! In an attempt to seek urgent care for my cat, I called their mobile number and explained that I was in need of help, only to have the rude woman working the desk state "we aren't accepting new customers" and hang up instantaneously without a further word. She did not even stay on the line to advise any other vets or simply say goodbye.I have read where others have had issues with this same woman. It's a shame that management does not remove her from employment. I can't help but look down on a business that allows such behavior to be their fore-front representation.For this reason, I will continue to deter others from utilizing the county-wide clinic. I will gladly defamate their business for years to come!

We have brought our black lab for treatment at County Wide for two years in a row. The vet is wonderful. The lady who answers the phone is the most rude and hateful person. She is not a person that I would want representing my place of business.

I’ve been going here for years & the lady at the front desk who always answers the phone has ALWAYS been so rude and unprofessional. She has the worst customer service skills, I think it’s highly unprofessional to sigh at your customers because they aren’t sure of the answer to give and to have an attitude towards you when you say anything. I also read through the reviews and I’m not the only one who has had to deal with this so SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE! This has upset me highly because I’ve tried to be nice and give her many chances since I am not there that often. I will be taking my fur babies else where from now on until miss girl can learn how to treats others with kindness or she finds a new job.

Dr. Shoeney and his staff are exceptional. The only place I will take my Animals, Dr has been Fantastic. He made my experience with dealing with a loved pet so easy during the passing of my Rottweiler. I have so much Respect for that Man.

We LOVE the Doc and the whole clinic. When our "good boy" got hit by a car, they kept the clinic open late for us to get there. We didn't know if he had a chance and Doc had him good as new within a few week! ♥️

Having been going here for years does not matter in person or on the phone the front desk lady has zero professionalism. Extremely rude and condescending to us. Tried to tell us we have only brought one dog in for vaccines when we go like every 6 months to get flea and tick medicine and get any shots we need. Apparently, our dogs just don't exist.

My family and I have been taking our animals to this place since I was little. Over the years, the staff has become rude and bitter, and the vet himself has become lazy. He does not examine the animals at all. He does the basic stuff and just sends them away. A few years ago we took our shitzu there with some suspected neurological problems, and all he did was LOOK at her for less than a minute and said she was fine. A few months later, she went into a seizure and didn’t come out of it for almost 6 hours. We had to take her to an emergency vet who had to put her down because of this.

The vet himself is very nice but his staff, I cannot say the same for. I WILL NEVER bring my pets to this clinic because of the ladies working there. Customer service matters everywhere and theirs is TERRIBLE.

I've been using this vet since I was a kid with my parents. I've never had a bad experience and the prices are extremely reasonable, especially compared to other area vets. I would highly recommend him for people with limited income!

My cat lost the use of her back legs. I was frantic and very upset. This clinic was recommended to me so I had high expectations. ( I thought I may have to put my fur baby down). The first person I met when I entered was the receptionist , I suppose....I was appalled at her behavior to say the least! I never in my life met such a rude and hateful woman... this behavior was the last thing I needed today! She had a hateful attitude. I just couldn't get over it! Everything I said she had a smart a** answer.... unreal! She in no way needs to be working with the public or animals! I took my cat to Perry county animal hospital instead! What a fantastic loving place!! I applaud their vet and caring staff as soon as I walked in! Oh btw I later found out the woman at countywide ...was in fact ..the vets wife!! IM just floored! Omg I couldn't believe it...guess that's why she still has her job! Actually they get no stars from me but it put one there....

Carried my lab in month ago she was limp ins on right leg. He said it was her knee I ask about hip dysphasia he no she did not have it he didn’t check her just looked at her well went to another vet because she still limp. He examined her and after X-ray she has hip dysphasia and has had it. So not happy with him beware of this place
