Took nearly 20 minutes to check out because the people's cards, emphasis on cards, didnt work. Cashier let them leave to find another card amd made us wait until they returned to check them out. Line was through the store. We were not from there and didn't know another place to go for our few items that we needed. We won't go back because we were just passing through. Hopefully this isn't a normal occurance.

I use to work at the Salem Dollar General. It was well ran, neat, everything was in its place and put out as it came in. Since I have left the store manager has also left and the store is a disaster there is stuff everywhere in floors on shelves. I Try not to go there cant stand the mess!

This store is so convenient being we live out in the country. The store has just about everything we need on a day to day basis. Staff are helpful and courteous.

Their prices are higher than Walmart. Half the time I could find what I was looking for and they dont have baby formula. But they had teething biscuits that were fine.

The worst dollar general I have been to. Employee meagan was so rude and if she contiues to work there i dont see it staying in business long because she likes to run customers off. I won't be back to thst store.

Easy in and out. Quick friendly service always. You can stop and get a loaf of bread or gallon of milk, Ice cream, frozen dinner and so much.

The store is usually always stocked with what I either want or need. Only issue is there only seems to be one person working the location. So if they are helping a customer or working within the store. Wait times for checkout can be a little frustrating.

Unlike many other Dollars Generals, I enjoy shopping at this store because they typically have everything I need and the cashiers are, for the most part, friendly.

Always good service at Freetown Dollar General. But seems like the one in Brownstown on Main St is starting to go down hill and the employees just dont care.

It's a dollar general but it's a handy location for campers at Starve hollow and has much of what you might need. Larger food selection than one might guess and icecream!

Good place for picking up something quick without spending a lot of time parking, and shopping at much larger stores. Lots to offer here and typically inexpensive all things considered.
