This has become a main staple for us. Love the small bar atmosphere, the food is outstanding and fair priced. Having cold amberbock on draft is a bonus, a rarity. The cheeseburgers are very good here and the grilled or breaded tenderloins are solid as well.Only complaint is it gets busy here for good reason, with industry staffing shortages you might need some patience and parking can be tough.See you there!

One of the best dive bars in all of Bloomington. We love this place for it’s no-frills chill environment. The food, service, and vibe is everything. The bar is a great place to socialize with town folk. Pool tables, TVs, great food and good times - what more can you ask for?

Best bar experience in bloomington with the best Kareoke ever. Food is good enough to eat, drinks are perfect, Kareoke is worth living in this city for. Also, the average review for this place is way too low... No animals in a place of FOOD SERVICE is a standard that has simply become out of fashion. Sorry about your disability and appreciate your service, but tanking this place's credit because your a dog advocate is silly. The OL deserves better.

I ordered the ribeye steak dinner. Which comes with a salad, baked potato and a slice of garlic bread. My server was top notch, very experienced and kind. That's more than what other places have in the same class of business. I enjoyed my time here. Friday's are a good night to be here. They have karaoke that starts at 930 and ends at 1am. I highly recommend it here. The owner is kind but stern so don't start trouble and keep your troubles outside. The owner will have you removed so do the owner a favor and all the patrons and just enjoy your time. Everyone works hard here so tip your servers well they work hard for you.

This place is a real treat. It has small town atmosphere so don’t be surprised if you get stared at by the locals. Good food with quick and polite service. Reasonable prices keep you coming back. Cheese curds are my go to pick!

This place was mentioned on a Tenderloin page I follow. I have Passed by here many times and never stopped. Finally got a chance to try it out. I got the breaded tenderloin and fries. The tenderloin was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Fries were crinkle cut and hot, just what you would expect. Staff was very friendly and the place was you typical "dive" bar (not a bad thing). Will definitely be back.

Great place and atmosphere, but this one bartender who is in her late 40s or early 50s ruined the experience. She was very rude and disrespectful, My brother and I usually tip well later into our night but she was very rude about the fact that my brother didn't tip her for his first drink. Will not go again.

Stop giving this business bad reviews about not allowing service animals. The Office Lounge DOES follow the law, allowing service animals to accompany their owner.A service animal is one that is specifically and professionally trained to perform specific necessary services for an individual with a disability. Because of their very careful and specific training, they can be relied on to remain calm and not interfere or react to the actions of strangers that are around them. This training makes it possible and appropriate for the law that requires they be allowed in public spaces, such as The Office Lounge.Emotional Support Animals ARE NOT the same as Service Animals. They are not professionally trained to the same standards and are not trained to provide any specific services. This difference is important to understand, and it is the reason EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE LAW REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS.

Don't come here for poker, they don't take kindly to new players, unless you like being barated for the way you play the game and being shorted on chip up during the breaks. The service was better than some bars I've been to, but often felt ignored by the bartenders standing pretty much right in front of me.When I sat down at the poker table I was greeted by mainly a friendly welcome, but there's always that one person that has a huge ego that needs to be stroked and I'm not one that stands for that.To make a long story short when I would go all in he would intentionally say that he folded one of my outs and eventually I let him know that I didn't appreciate it and he said he didn't appreciate me laughing at everyone when I took them out of the game. That was an excuse he pulled out of the air because he was jealous I kept winning. After that confrontation was over all the fun went out the window. During break he was outside running his mouth about me to his buddies with a cane in his hand, I guess he was trying to intimidate someone that could be armed, I don't understand people. He also liked yelling out to his dad as if he really holds weight in the office lounge. It's honestly hilarious how serious people take free poker, lesson learned for sure this time! Don't play free poker it's a complete waste of time! With that being said, you might get jumped at the office lounge if you beat them at poker.

Friendly staff. Excellent specials. Nice prices and portion size is amazing. Ordered steak special and would definitely order again. However, for the love of all things good, please season your steak prior to cooking. I feel terrible having to cover such a nice steak in so much sauce.

Well, I have come to the Office Lounge for quite some time. I recently read a review though about a service dog not being allowed inside due to the owners lack of information on service dogs. Not all service dogs service people who are PHYSICALLY disabled. There are lots of service dogs who save their owners life from low blood sugar!! There are lots of service dogs who stop their owners from have a panic attack in a public place with lots of people. Those are just two examples. Service dogs are trained for SEVERAL things. It definitely shouldn’t be a decision that you think you get to pick and choose which ones you will except or not. This is sickening. And your response to the review is sickening as well. This was the only place I’d come to after a long week and needing a night out with my girls. Not sure I’ll be back now. As a dog groomer servicing the Bloomington area and providing MANY service dogs with dog grooming, I don’t pick and chose which ones I think should be classified as a service dog. Neither should you!

I would give this place ZERO stars if possible. The food is mediocre at best and feels as outdated as the owners attitude. Recently he ILLEGALLY denied service to a disabled veteran who had a service animal with them, claiming he only allows service dogs used for blind or apparently physically impaired customers. He tells everyone leaving a review about this incident to “Look it up on NOLO”, which is exactly what I have done and attached the pictures. He’s pointing people in the direction of information that proves he is in the wrong! It should also be pointed out to him that not all disabilities are visible to others, especially in veterans who have been in combat. Many suffer from PTSD and have these dogs who are certified and trained to assist them WHEREVER the owners go, and can do so legally. A public business cannot deny access to a certified service animal and its owner simply because the disability is not visible. Save yourself time, money, and your taste buds by not patronizing an establishment like this which discriminates against disabled veterans who risked their lives so this lowlife can be free.

For my first time at a local bar in Bloomington, I must say The Office Lounge was definitely almost perfect! The service here is absolutely wonderful, bartenders are extremely tentative to their guest. The drinks....WOW!!! The drinks here are down right amazing and very reasonably priced, being a bartender I was thoroughly impressed with this aspect. Leaving me with nothing but the food...smh...the food was horrid! I had the chicken wings and fries pickles (typical) bar food and immediately after eating them began to feel sick. I would not bypass this place due to the other great aspects of the place however just be careful with what you order for food. Oh yeah forgot to mention they sell packaged goods as well!

Our favorite local bar. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we live within walking distance and have been working our way through the menu. Great food and service - food is always ready quickly for pickup. Good selection of cold beer and booze for carry out too.

One of the best bars in Bloomington! Truly amazing staff; friendly, attentive, and it doesn't take long for them to remember your name which really adds to the feeling of being welcome. The food is always good, and the prices of everything are always fair. They offer pool tables, a jukebox, plenty of TV's for sports, and karaoke on Friday and Saturday. Absolutely worth checking out.

“We allow dogs for blind people and PHYSICALLY disabled people.” Oh but you ask a disabled veteran with a service dog to leave?? You don’t even know what kind of disability this veteran had and you do not get to the judge what disabilities are allowed and not allowed based on the ADA guidelines. As a business owner, you should know the law and your responsibility to uphold it. This is a shame.

My wife and I go on Friday nights . She gets the tenderloin which is huge and the best around. I get the ribeye , salad, baked potato and Texas toast which is fabulous for the price., Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Always great!

The office lounge is a great place for older adults. It's not your college hang out and that's nice for a town that has mostly college bars. They have pizza, hot dogs and everything in between. The kitchen closes at 11 pm on the weekends but your can still get a few things such as pizza. Riley is an excellent server and she makes us feel like family every time we come in. Karaoke is definitely fun. They have it on Friday and Saturday nights and it is a blast.

It's a cute little bar. It has good food and usually a lively experience. Definitely a place for the local crowd to hang out and meet up. Karaoke night is definitely to be desired though the sound system isn't good and the girl who runs it is rude.

Talk about a surprise! I expected absolutely NOTHING out of this place and it was wonderful! I have passed this place a million times and never even considered going in. I went in at the recommendations of a friend and I am glad I did! Definitely a home town quieter bar made for adults instead of all the colleges bars nearby! Free pool Monday-Thursday!

Went there for the poker, I WITNESSED the person who runs the poker exchange 5,000 in chips for a 10,000 chip to one of her friends in the middle of a hand. I mentioned it at the table, then at break I had 3 people come to me and say they've witnessed the same. CHEAT!! The bartender was great, busy, friendly, a good worker. When I got to the poker table the I was supposed to have a waitress, she passed me and my empty glass 3 times. I went to the bar to get a drink, there was the waitress, at the server's station EATING! I'll be back for drinks and the good food, but only if I sit at the bar. Waitress SUCKED! And the cheating at free poker is ridiculous.

The owner doesn't ALLOW rap music which is obviously racially motivated and heavily censors what karaoke songs you are allowed to sing!Plus they discriminate against service dogs...better off going somewhere else than giving these people your money

Does not accommodate service animals unless you’re blind. Had a veteran turned away with his service dog (the dog is a certified service animal for a disability, not an ESA) and didn’t even bother to ask what service the dog provides. He would’ve known then that the dog was not an ESA. Super illegal.
