I'm so glad we found this place, too bad it's not close to home. They had a wonderful selection of flavors so we had to get a dozen along with some of their other treats. Their cream pies were heavenly and HUGE! I will definitely return next time I'm in Bloomington.Vegetarian options: The whole place is vegan and definitely vegetarian friendly

Not your ordinary bakery! When I saw things like lavender and lemon or hibiscus... ingredients you don't normally associate with donuts. I was a little less excited. I did step out and tried a couple, so I'm so glad I did they were amazing. I keep going back again and again. I highly recommend trying a few different flavors... mind blowing good!

I come here way too often (lol) but it’s because it is my favorite bakery in town! Often, I’ll get a box of goodies ☺️ I ride and race bicycles and their vegan and GF options are perfect snacks for race days or long ride days that doesn’t make me feel bloated, but holds me over well.Additionally, they have some cute, delicious cupcakes that are excellent dessert treats!I like regular donuts, but I prefer Rainbow Bakery donuts because they aren’t greasy or too filling. The flavor options are out of this world too and unique. Love it!My dogs seem to love the dog treats too!

Wonderful, independent and locally owned Bakery. We love the gluten-free options as well as the vegan bakery Goods. The donuts were super light and fluffy, and gluten-free items were well priced and fresh! We love the old-school interior decor with the formica top kitchen tables for people to sit and have a nice hot cup of coffee. They had a great hot tea selection. I give the rainbow Bakery five stars!

Stopped in this morning. I always stop in when I come to Bloomington. I got a lavender lemonade and 3 donuts, blueberry lemon, toasted coconut and passionfruit. The lemonade was delicious, not too tart or too sweet. Perfect! The donuts were tender and packed with flavor. I ate the blueberry lemon and the passionfruit. I didn't have a chance to try the toasted coconut one yet, but I am sure it is awesome. I bought another blueberry lemon and a passionfruit donut to go, they were that good.The donuts here are by far my favorite donuts, and I am not vegan. I love the flavor combinations. I will be back!

A trendy bakery with free wi-fi making it a perfect place to hang out with friends or get some work done. Rainbow Bakery has an entire case devoted to gluten free options and is a baked-good haven for vegans and non-vegans alike.Personal favourites include their gluten-free oatmeal cookie cream pie, pumpkin ginger muffin, sea salt chocolate chip cookie, the breakfast pastie and cheese and potato pastie (eager to try their chicken leak pastie, which I'm told is the best!) and all of their cupcakes.The single best thing I have ever bought from Rainbow was a custom order of salted caramel filled chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel chocolate icing (pictured). It seems their custom orders are currently unavailable, but I believe they plan to bring it back in the near future.Price is not cheap, but affordable - most items sit between $2-$4. Additionally, I will say that I am always a tad disappointed with the consistency and flavour of their well-loved donuts, but maybe that's just me! This place is a gem, regardless, and will be one of the things I miss most about Bloomington when I leave!

Rainbow Bakery is a haven for those with dietary restrictions like mine. As someone sensitive to gluten, dairy, and eggs, finding safe bakery items has been a challenge until I stumbled upon this gem.Their variety of Vegan and Gluten-Free combo items is both extensive and incredibly delicious. Every bite is a delight, and I can order with confidence, thanks to their knowledgeable and accommodating staff.Beyond the scrumptious treats, Rainbow Bakery offers a cozy atmosphere and exceptional service. It's a refreshing experience to find a bakery where I don't have to compromise my health for taste. For anyone dealing with food allergies or simply appreciating high-quality pastries, Rainbow Bakery is a must-visit.

We love this place - been coming here for close to 5 years and, being vegan, my husband and I love all the amazing options! Particularly good is the infamous breakfast sandwich, the cinnamon roll, the Michigan hand pie, and the Argentinian hand pie. I also LOVE the palak paneer and reuben hand pies but they are less frequently available. Been to vegan bakeries all over and this one is our favorite!

Service with smiling employees, amazing donuts, muffins, and cookies. My 6-year-old son and I frequent this bakery. It’s our go to place to a conversation and sweet treat. His favorite is the cinnamon sugar donut, mine is the gluten-free sweet pea. Thank House brew coffee is awesome and offer all kinds of alternative creamers and sweetness. Definitely relaxing, chill, and fun hang out spot with amazing art.

It can be a real challenge to find delicious gluten-free treats, and this little bakery has the answer. Everything is vegan and a lot are gluten-free. Cookies, muffins, scones, donuts! I had the Oatmeal Cream Pie and it was tender and delicious. I’ll be going back.

I've driven by this place many times and finally took the chance on it this morning. Im not vegan and I have to say the donuts were absolutely delicious! Especially the maple bacon one (as ironic as that sounds). Great spot!

This was my first vegan cafe ever and it exceeded my expectations. The living wall, the deco, the awesome Pacman game. Truly made the whole of our trip to hear Mae Jemison (first woman of color to go to space in the world) at IU the best one ever. I wish more Rainbow Bakeries existed!! Please bring one to Warsaw!!! Lol

Visited Rainbow Bakery as a Vegan with 2 non vegan friends. We all loved our sweet treats. It's great to have a local place available with vegan friendly options that everyone can enjoy. Cute building, fun atmosphere, tasty foods.

Really charming atmosphere. Delicious treats, both savory and sweet, and very reasonable prices. Everything is vegan, and they have good gluten free options. The salted caramel donut and the breakfast sandwich are my favorites, but the hand pies are pretty fantastic too. My only critique is some of the savory items are a little sweet to me (I'm thinking of the broccoli cheddar scone specifically) I don't really care for sweet in my savory and I did finish it but I won't personally order that item again.Inside seating is available again :) all the staff I've seen have been masked but patrons do not have to.

It can be tricky to find a bakery that truly understands celiac disease. This place totally gets it. They have gluten free and vegan options, use separate prep spaces and utensils, and switched gloves between orders. They packaged my wife's donuts separately from the others in our order. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the environment is fun. We will be back for sure!
